I called in and told him I had a flat tire they said come on in. I drove the two blocks only to be told that they were going to close down early, I told him please help I have a flat tire and my pregnant wife's in the car. I just need a patch and I'll be on my way. They all looked at each other, and the desk guy said it was up to the other guys, after a few moments of Silence, I was told that the air compressor has already been turned off! As if it doesn't turn back on with the flip of a switch! Explain to them that I just called they told me to come here I can't drive anymore on my flat. And express them that they're open sign was on and all their workers were still there, and their business hours had them open for another hour! And they told me I don't know what to tell you. Horrible business operators! Horrible people! Zero compassion! 10 out of 10 don't recommend this place to anybody. Worst experience at any business in my life!

BRAD AND TECH #28 EPI were very accommodating. WENT IN for a flat repair and they got me in and out. I woke up to a low tire at 600am on our way back to Florida and they got me in and out with no appointment. It was a 24" tire as well so it needs to be done with care and the tech took his time didn't scratch the rim. I just apologize for not leaving the tech a tip but had the family in the hotel waiting for me and I was rushing and not thinking clearly.6500 mile round trip will do that to you with 3 kids and a wife that likes to drive from the passanger seat My sincere apologies, I hope this review helps the tech out.

My wife and I were driving through Bakersfield when our low tire pressure light went on. After putting air in the tire and confirming a leak, we went to Firestones unannounced. While the repairs was being done, we were able to use the Firestone guest wh-fi and get some work done in the comfort of leather chairs. The staff was friendly, took us in right in and we were on our way within 90 minutes. We had a very good experience.

Made an appointment for an oil change for 11am, dropped off my car at 11 the attendant said about 2 hours. When it was 1:30 I called to check on my car because I hadn t heard anything. When the service guy answered he said it was being done now and to come in at 2 to pick it up. So i arrived at 2 and my car was still up on jacks!! When the service guy came over to help me I said My car still is done that was suppose to be just a simple oil change and it s been 3 hours since I dropped it off!!! The Service guy immediately went out talk to the technician and came back and apologized that he got side track doing something else!! Needless to say an oil change took 3 1/2 hours!! Never doing that again!!

I appreciate that the tires were ordered for me without payment upfront, and the tires were installed in a timely manner, staff was very friendly and helpful.

Maria and her team at Firestone are absolutely worth 5 stars. They do great work and stand by it. You may wait a while when they are busy, but you are definitely treated like a valued customer. I would not hesitate to recommend Firestone to anyone needing routine maintenance like oil changes and filters, tires, brakes, struts, air conditioning service, alignment or even a trouble light checked out. I brought my last car here before I bought it to have it checked over from before I committed and was happy to negotiate with the seller for repairs needed and got a better price. Maria is number one!

We were traveling en route the area gotten ruptured tires by hitting a pothole on 99, got desperately towed into this auto center after some dramas and surprisingly found we came to the right place and were in good hands. Maria who received us was in such a manner that not only calmed us down and gave us a piece of mind but also quite confident and on top of everything knowing her stuff and exactly the whole process and what needed to be done, she then had kept us posted of the progress, all we needed to do was sitting there relaxing until the work was done, and they did it super efficiently. The whole experience was amazing. We were just so happy to have found this center helping us and getting us quickly back on road for our holiday journey. Thanks to Maria and The Team again! I came here for a rattle noise and they were very honest and reasonable about their work. All the employees I talked to were professional and kind. I would definitely come back for any work I need done. Keep in mind they don't do welding onsite, but they can refer you to other places for that kind of work. It also seems to be pretty busy there and I'm sure that has to do with the quality of their work and their reasonable prices. I'd highly recommend them.

Would not recommend!! Felt disrespected today went in and bought tires for my truck but then I ask lady there for tires for different vehicle and she was willing to help but ultimately ignored me and went on to help people coming in even though I was standing at counter 20 minutes later she wanted to help but it was late will take Bussiness else where

Maria the manager of this location is very rude , promises times she can't deliver I would recommend going anywhere but here ...she said she would call me when my tire arrives it's been there for a couple days and still no call... very unprofessional.... I can see why this location loses so much money ... Definitely needs new management or retraining at the bare minimum..

Took an Enterprise car here twice in last year (different cars) and got service quickly and efficiently. Since cars were under Enterprise contract I didn't have to pay. Nice front desk staff.

Made an online appointment and when I walked in they said they couldn t honor it since it was not confirmed. They did not even contact me by email or phone to let me know. Lost my and my family and friends business. Would not trust these folks with your car if they can t even get appointment right imo

I ve been taking my cars for alignment at Firestone on Stine since is closer to my house. I took my cars here on Chester since Stine was booked. First car I took was decline stating it was too low but it s factory suspension. I offered to take my bumper off and they said no. I took my truck here which is lifted and they declined it as well. Manager said that the tech says the truck is too long lol the truck is a 2500hd Silverado short bed and not long. Their main excuse was that they have old equipments compare to their sister shop on Stine. Which I went and ask Stine about it, and they claimed that Firestone supplies our equipments so we should all have the same. Save your self the time waiting and wasting fuel out there by just going to other Firestone.Service: Wheel alignment

Literally just saved my car. I was on my way home and my car starts beeping at me oil pressure low, stop engine. I happen to see the store and stopped. They were closed , and I didn t have money on me and they still helped me out. I all I can say is thank you and god blessed.

They BROKE my Door handle and now the only way to close my door is from the Driver's seat and to roll down the window and pull it shut like some kind of car in a junkyard somewhere.My truck only has 30k miles on it, it's like new. They made ZERO effort to fix it and in fact LAUGHED in my FACE when I asked them what they were going to do about it. BEWARE this place if you expect your car to leave in better shape than you brought it in with. Anyone would think spending a $THOUSAND DOLLARS for 4 tires somewhere would earn you some respect, but this place is just going to DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE, And LOL about it.UPDATE: I see a PR FIRM has posted an AUTO REPLY to me. Unfortunately AUTO REPLIES DO NOT FIX DAMAGES DO THEY?Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

I took my car to Firestone to get the brakes changed, shortly after I started hearing a noise off and on when braking sometimes. I had my fiance look at it and they didn t put one of the caliper mounting bolts back on! Kind of scary to think that we ve been driving like that this whole time. Such a simple thing that you would figure any mechanic would know how to do.

If you ever questioned what they were telling you or thought you may be getting scammed, it's because you were. They may make you feel warm and fuzzy but why not when they've got you bent over. They're all about taking your money and selling you tires or other service you don't need. Go elsewhere. Do get scammed here. Used to be a good place. Not sure what happened but I assure you they're not trustworthy.

If your on a time schedule I would avoid this place at all costs. I had an appointment made for 1 PM today for my brakes, and when I got there they said that they are not able to take me in until 3:00 PM. I had been planning this for a few days now and my whole schedule was arranged around this appointment. All they could tell me was that they took people ahead of me that were walkins. This is very very frustrating. I am taking my car somewhere else then they are going to see me right away.

Took truck in for an alignment. Told the guy at the counter it had just been lifted and so he noted this. Get a call less then an hour later that they can t do the alignment because the truck had been lifted ?!? Not only did the guy at the counter not say this in the first place, but for some reason they didn t know it s not a 4 wheel drive. On top of them not knowing what they were looking at, the mechanics were mouthing off and laughing as we left. I ve used this shop before and they re slow as heck but a convenient location. I ll deal with the inconvenience of going somewhere else before I ever go there again!

Maria was very friendly and helpful. She got our car in while stranded from out of town. Thanks to this staff we got to enjoy the rest of our weekend and not loose out on hotel reservations. Experiences like this really make a difference. Thank you, Maria and the rest of the Firestone team! You guys are awesome!

If I could give a worse rating I would. I have given them multiple chances. Even after they scratched 2 of the wheels on my last truck and failed to make it right. They are close to my work so out of convenience to me I made the mistake of getting a set of tires there for my wife's car. Not only did they completely lie to me about one of the 2 month old tires on my wife's car having a nail in the "side wall." They had her car for 5.5 hours and didn't even replace it. So I went to American Tire on Rosedale Hwy and the fixed it for free and told me that the nail was actually in the center of the tread, not the side wall. American was great. Just so everyone knows. Firestone tire on Chester Ave., downtown, is THE WORST PLACE EVER! The manager is rude and the staff is incompetent. I will never go there again and if your smart you will learn through my unfortunate experience.

I have been taking my cars here since 2012, but within the last year the person up front went from someone I trusted to someone I couldn't even stand talking to. Maria is amazing and always took care of us but the new guy/girl who answers the phone is rude and needs to learn some etiquette. I won't ever be returning here with my vehicle when both times I was rudely informed I couldn't get an appointment for 2 days, the other firestone on Stine welcomed me with open arms same day AND I only waited an hour when this firestone makes me wait 2+ hours for a schedules appointment oil change. Get your act together, and train your employees to not be so offputting on the phone and when people come into the store.

Luis is the reason to come! He's very friendly and helpful. He took care of my truck quickly. Arranged to have my special order tires brought across town and work hard to meet my schedule. He is an asset to your company! He is the reason I'll be back. Hire more like him!

They never check out my car and see what was anything wrong with my car at all I will never take my car there anymore because they are too dam lazy to look at anyone's car's at all. So I'm letting everyone know never take your car to get fix with them at all right now okay. :'(:-(:'(

Went it for an oil change on my Dodge Ram & there was no wait to get it done. Took them 45 mins from start to finish for what is usually a 20 minute AT MOST job. Definitely will not be back.

This shop was a great experience for me from the manager down the line these guys were all friendly, helpful and professional...did a great job on my truck and juggled many pins as the day went on with many phone calls and walk in customers...great team...thank you...highly recommend...also a great location close to food and other amenities to visit while you wait for your vehicle to get serviced.
