I recently visited this service center to have tires mounted on my vehicle's stock wheels. Regrettably, each wheel sustained cosmetic damage during the process. When I addressed this issue with the manager, his response was dismissive and accusatory, suggesting that we were trying to exploit the situation. He implied that pre-existing damage on one wheel was reason enough to disregard careful handling of the others.The manager's demeanor was notably rude and condescending. He consistently twisted our words, despite my having recorded the conversation for accuracy.I strongly recommend that the business adopt a more thorough inspection process, potentially including before-and-after photos, to prevent such incidents. Notably, when asked about a pre-service inspection report, the manager confirmed that none was conducted. This experience was highly disappointing and calls for significant improvements in customer service and operational procedures.

I take both of my cars here anytime the maintenance light comes on. They are fair, honest and patient. I will never ever buy tires anywhere but the guys on 21st Street they are so good. Today the brake light was on & I thought tire needed changed they said nope just need to screw gas cap on better and needed a tire rotation. As a woman not having to worry about constantly being up sold is such a relief.

Very friendly staff. Fast and reliable. Stopped by on a road trip and checked tires quickly and was done within 5 minutes. Will definitely use again if in the area.

I was told my tire couldn t be patched but theses guys said they would take a look and see if they could. And they patched it and made my month. And they were super nice! Thanks guys y all rock!!

Good service, and great customer service. I brought my car in and they did a good check on it. Art, the front counter representative, was very helpful and informative to the issues with my car. I highly recommend this tire shop .

Omar + his fellow service men are a delight. I am a 70 year old lady, an senior, but what I would like you to know + consider is their free car service + their coolest singer ...One of their serviceman is a singer. This man can blow. His voice is really beautiful. A true gorgeous sound. Everyone and I mean everyone enjoys listening while he and his fellow service men are working on your car. Their free service includes topping off fluids under your hood + checking your air pressure on your tires, all for free.

Where can you go at 3:45 on a Saturday afternoon to get a tire fixed after you just ran over a nail on the freeway??? Big Brand Tire on 21st Street!! I called Omar, and he said bring it in. Less than an hour later, me and my 6 year old little girl are HOME. Less than an hour from the time of I called!! Best service!! They are my go to shop!! Thank you!!

Been going here for years . This last time was a joke . I asked several times over the phone before my appointment and when I got to the place how long it would take . They said 1 to 1 1/2 hours . That's fine I just wanted to make sure I have enough time since i have other appointments after . Nope 2 hours in and my car is still sitting out there not even taken back yet and I asked at the 1 hr mark to make sure it would be done and they assured me sure thing it would be . I will not deal with this again

These guys are great! One of the best shops in Bakersfield. I have been a long time customer and been delighted every time I do business with them. Highly recommended if you need tires, brakes, battery, alignment or just a routine service. 4/11/22 Updating/ adding to previous post: Routine service, technician found a serious cut in tire that we didn't know about. Likely prevented a failure or blow out.Updating 11/06/23; Brought 2 vehicles for servicing today. Always a good experience.

Courteous and helpful staff. Didn t have an appointment for an oil change but they fit me in and were quick. Rotated my tires (no charge) as they advertise.

Unexpectedly found a screw in my front passenger tire and that caused it to leak air. So without a appointment I drove downtown to big brand tire on 21st Street and asked if they could fix my tire. They said no problem and took my keys. I arrived at 11:45am and I was back on the road at 12pm!! I am making this location my go to shop for all my vehicles. Thank You Big Brand Tires for the quick and excellent service. Overall outstanding service

I will compare this visit at Big Brand Tires and Service, to the visit I had with Big O Tires. Big Brand Tires being Disneyland Disney World and Big O Tires being a dried up Park. the employees at Big Brand Tires are very helpful and fast, I greatly appreciate that I didn't have to spend my whole day there (big brand tires) I was there 40 minutes and that felt so good.And for the exact same service I received at Big O Tires Mall View Road I spent nearly 4 hours very very upsetting I will never go back to Big O Tires.

Omar helped me get my oil change and tires rotated. Everything went super smoothly and they had everything done in time for my trip out of town which I really appreciated. The team at Big Brand always takes care of me!

The counter staff were excellent. Although, the tires I ordered did not arrive on the delivery truck in time for my appointment, they worked twice as hard to fit me with a set of tires they already had in stock. By the time I picked up my car, I was outfitted the even better tires than I originally ordered. The staff was patient and very helpful to make sure I was getting the right tires. I would highly recommend this location.

They are always great with me as a customer. I needed new tires but I had a budget. They made sure either got great reliable tires and a alignment within my budget even though that ment going to another location to get the tires I could afford.
