Mike and Damon were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, I had never done window tints before and I'm glad I brought my truck here. Even with their busy load, I managed to get my truck back in under 2 hours.Great job guys, and thank you!

The service here is second to none! Very professional (start to finish), explanatory, knowledgeable, and awesome friendly attitudes from the owner (Mike) and all his employees. My expectations were exceeded with the outcome of the job done and the results of the higher grade ceramic tint installed. I'm definitely taking my Suburban there and my daughter's car. Well worth the money spent, and it's locally owned. So my money went back into our community. I'd recommend Bakersfield Tint Solar Solutions to anyone looking to get your windows tinted. Place is fast. Pulled up asked cash price with no hesitation apon asking if he could get my truck in right then. He said yes he explained his guy were at lunch, when I said yes I saw him pull his phone out to I assume to text his guys. The service is excellent. I had a window trim issue on a truck I just purchased.. and they let me know nd showed me. Reason for 1 star instead of 5 is for customer service. I've brought 5 of my cars to them and this is the 1st one I've asked for any kind of discount ($550 instead of $575) and they wouldn't even consider it, just made some snide comment and moved on. In my opinion he lost $75 revenue. They also make you sign a disclosure stating that if there's dirt and grit in your tint job that there's nothing they can do about it. There are 30 other tint shops in Bakersfield cheaper. I'll be taking my next 5 cars to those. It's a shame because generally the workmanship is pretty good.UPDATE:As a business owner/manager the way you handle a complaint shows your character. You COULD contact your customer and see what can be done to make it right OR you can throw a temper tantrum like Bakersfield tint did and ask me to come get my car cause they didn't want to do business with me. Classy move. $3k in revenue I've given them and that's how their customer service works.Service: Vehicle window tinting

I should have known better than to take my car here. I just purchased a brand new car took it over to be serviced and my trunk was completely scratched. They offered no help, or accountability. A close friend of mine also had a poor experience upon return of the car, their door was broken and unable to open. If you want to have them provide poor attitude and new damages to your car this is the place for you!Service: Vehicle window tinting

Damon and his guys are awesome!! Damon explained all my options for residential window tinting, gave me different prices, and worked with me to make the best choice. At installation, they were there when they said they would be, installed everything quickly, were very professional, respectful, and just plain good guys! And the price was great too. Tint on my house looks great! I highly recommend this company for residential window tinting.

I needed to re-tint the windows at my business and needed it done fast. I was recommended to Solar Solutions by a friend and I have to say that I am extremely happy I called this company. Not only were they very quick, but very professional. They removed the old film, cleaned the windows, and applied the new film all within 24 hours. No hassle whatsoever and they did a great job. Give them a call you won't regret it!

Used this company for my vehicle , which was amazing comparing the internal temp of my car before and after in the Bakersfield summer. And most recently used this company for our standalone business where we have Sun exposure on the east, south, and west walls with giant Windows. Made such a huge difference in both temperature and appearance. Such a great investment and they were super professional throughout the whole process. Would use again in a heartbeat!

Came across this shop via a recommendation from a great friend. I had a brand new 2018 GMC Sierra with black leather and Damon recommended the Ceramic tint. My truck stays much cooler and my leather is not burning hot in summer. There are times that I have to actually turn down my AC in summer because it gets a bit too cold. These guys do a great job and I recommend Solar Solutions to everyone!

I just had my Kia Sorento's windows tinted at Bakersfield Tint and I'm very happy with their work. I can tell they have a top of the line product. The people here have been very pleasant and easy to work with. So, if you need your windows tinted, come to Bakersfield Tint. You will not regret it!

NEXT LEVEL !!!Recently a co-worker stopped in to have his windows tinted. He explained how this material was ceramic and the difference was very noticeable. I realized we had just returned to the office at the same time so without hesitation I went to my vehicle and then his - note our trucks are practically identical. It was almost like a night and day difference. He told me to go see Damon - this is now on my to do list. The crew did a fantastic job and Im looking forward to having my truck completed this coming week!

My husband bought a car through Mazda and was offered window tinting so he agreed, we dropped the car off at Mazda and someone from there drove our car to solar solutions. We checked the mobile app called blue Link and noted that our car sat unlocked with all 4 doors open for 6 hours. When he got it back nobody told him that our daughters safety seat was removed or contacted him to ask if they could remove it. I went outside to put my daughter in the car later that day and the carseat was on it's side in the backseat and the plastic tether that attached the latch clips to the body of the carseat had been tempered causing it to break. The plastic is designed to only break under immense force like that of a collision thus rendering it unsafe for use after an accident. For this to have broken like that they had to have yanked or jerked with their full weight and forced it out of the car because I had this carseat firmly and tightly installed. The fire department has now deemed the carseat unfit to use and I'm am trying to get in touch with all parties to have this replaced but as of yet have heard nothing.

Toyota sent my sisters brand new Camry to get the back windows tinted.They cut the tint too short on one window and had bubbling on the rear and side windows.When she brought it back they fixed the piece that was cut to short and and he proceeded to tell her bubbles in the tint were normal.So basically her brand new car would have bubbles and she has to live with it.It may be normal to do bad work in his shop I can not believe he would leave it this way so she had him remove it and now have to pay someone else to do it.

Ended up gouging and scuffing door panels during the tint install. Even forgot to put back one of the clips. These guys do use quality materials but the quality of work is comparable to something you'll find in Union and Mercado Latino.
