Recently brought in my 99 Silverado 1500 thinking I was in need of an entirely new transmission (what another shop told me) which would ve costed me nearly $4000 upfront, after leaving my truck for a while they discovered that the transmission was completely fine and that the problem was not nearly as major as the previous shop made it out to be. I really appreciate the help and if you re looking for an honest shop in Bakersfield, this is the place. Side note, they also installed some taillights I was having issues with and they look and work beautifully!

Anyone looking for great quality repairs this place is it. I've known Alex for a couple of years, he's done work on my cars in the past and always does a great job. This guy knows his stuff, super professional and honest. I've had AC work on my car and most recently had a steering column and suspension issue and Alex found the issue right away and did the repair and came out perfect. Definitely would recommend this place to everyone.

I was impressed with the kindness and hospitality with the shop the first day I came in. Right a way one of the owners got in my car and allowed me to drive him around so he could see what issues I needed addressed with my suspension. I was afraid that my car would be left on the back burner with all of the projects they have going on and because my car isn't vintage but they took their time to ensure quality work. If you want some quality work from quality mechanics that will correct issues with your car and make sure it's operating safely, this is the place to be. I've been looking for an honest and well trained mechanic for years in Bakersfield and I'm so glad I came to APR. You guys (and gal) have a life long customer!
