I used my card in the store today and it was hacked. They must have a skimmer on the pad at the counter. Must be an inside job. Wont go there again.

i am updating my review from a year ago in 2022 to reflect the fact that recently they changed their pricing policies and are now in line price-wise with most of the other Chevron stations in the vicinity.I truly appreciate this and actually bought fuel there today. From back in 2022-This Chevron station routinely charges way more for fuel than other Chevron stations in the region. I fueled up at the Chevron on Sierra College Blvd in Rocklin at I-80 on 10/31/22 at 5.99/gal for premium and drove home to Auburn 12 miles away. As I passed this Auburn Chevron they were charging 6.79/ gal for premium...80 cents a gal higher. Almost always is 30 cents/gal or more higher in price to other Chevron stations.I've heard people say they charge this much more in order to gouge more profits from the Tahoe tourists who pass through Auburn on the weekends. Whatever the reason really is it is a warning to locals in Auburn to stay away as they are not being treated fairly by this local business that only wants the bay area travelers money. I severely doubt their fuel purchase costs could be this much higher than other Chevrons in the local region.

To the previous reviews; employees working in any state are legally required to take two 10-minute breaks if working longer than 6 hours, they are also required to take a lunch but sometimes those employees have to take a standing lunch while working. They also CANNOT leave the store when alone for liability reasons, they can't even leave the store at all when it's dark until they clock out.

Got gas, needed a snack; the mart was locked because the employee was on a break. When I worked in retail, I was required to stay prepared on break. The long negative review from another customer does not surprise me.

If I could do zero stars I would. My mother in law is Handicap and can not walk. She literally cannot get out of her car with out help and her wheelchair. Today she pulled into this chevron needing help wither gas. Normally one of us will go with her and do it for her but we were not available to. She need the gas so she could get home to foresthill or she would not make it. She pulled in and pushed the button for help and then waited nobody came out so she went to the next pump and pushed the button and again nobody came out so she went to the next pump and pushed it a 3rd time nobody came out. After sitting there for 45 minutes the gut came out to throw away the trash and she flagged him down. He told her that he was the only one working and that he couldn't just come out and pump her gas. Finally she persuaded him to do it. She sat in her car so hurt and mad and this being the second gas station she had been to to try and get help. Do people not realize that as much as you hate having to come out and help a handicap person get gas, they hat having to ask. Do you know how it feels to not be able to do that simple task. The man that was working today owes my mother in law an apology. Shame on him for not doing your job and helping a person in need.

Terribly rude customer service representatives. Youll be much better off going right down the street to Shell for appropriate service, better selection and quality fuel
