Called ahead to see if they were busy, if I needed an appt, etc. Lynda said come on over and she'd take care of me. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Lynda and crew are amazing. They went above and beyond on a difficult smog. They took the time to check, adjust and replace the parts needed. Not just fail it like other places. I was well informed on all aspects of the repairs and left with knowledge for next time. Way to go Auburn Smog. Thank you!

Well, I am Lyndas Sister-in-law so I can tell you she has been doing maintenance and repair on my vehicles since 1986. She is top notch. It's so nice to have the work done by someone I truly trust. My husband and I both take our vehicles to Auburn Smog.Matthew just did an oil change for me yesterday. He repaired my air conditioner and a few other things last year. They are efficient, honest & their prices are very fair. I highly recommend Auburn Smog. Service: Smog certification

Receptionist was so friendly that it put a huge smile on my face and elevated my mood. Fast and easy process for my smog. Walk-ins welcome and I was in & out within 20 minutes. Would highly recommend!

Great local business. Friendly, professional and efficient service; was in and out for smog certification in less than 20 minutes. Owner and her mother were on duty. This friendly family business gives you a good vibe. Just got a smog test here today. It was a smooth and quick process. I walked in without an appointment, and they were able to do the testing/paperwork immediately (I called beforehand to confirm they weren't super busy). There is a spacious indoor waiting area with chairs. The service was very nice, friendly, and helpful. I even saved a couple of bucks compared to the other quotes I got. im registering an out of state vehicle in so i went on the search for a smog shop and found Linda's. I lowkey picked it because it's woman owned and i don't regret it at all. she helped me out so much, i passed smog, and even had something else repaired that's been needing done. lovely folks who work there, had me sorted out quickly, and from what i've heard at a good price compared to some other places around!

After they backed up and headed into the shop. They come in to tell me they can t do the smog check cause it will fail due to my engine light being on because of my new gas cap/EVAP problem that I even told them about. And they still sent me away! In the state of California it will go as an incomplete on 2000 or newer vehicles but still the ability to pass. This is horrible service. They were absolutely wonderful! They took the time to check out my car that wasnt restarting even though the battery was good still. She replaced a terminal and only charged me for the part they truly saved the day!

Passed smog air quality but rejected and flagged in system as non CA compliant part. This smog shop will check every detail and search for anything possible to reject your smog. This is great from a regulatory point of view but not for a consumer who has an older vehicle. No codes and passed tail pipe test but rejected as well as flagged in DMV system. Also one of the higher priced ($100 smog).Update: This is under my son's name, not mine and was definitely brought to this shop. They also laughed about it while they flagged it in the system. Not sensitive to older car owners and people living on a budget.

TOP LEVEL SERVICE! Everyone MUST make this your first stop. Long story Extremely short, I am active duty military and came home on emergency leave. I needed a SMOG check after 2 years of my vehicle sitting. Auburn Smog told me what to do to get ready for the SMOG test instead of taking my money and saying it failed... SO THANKFUL. the test took less than 20 mins and passed after I followed the recommendations to get the computer system up and running... If you are looking for a reliable place with staff that knows what they are doing STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
