I had the fork seals replaced on my Vstrom 1000. They got me in quick and did a great job. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The bike rides great. I asked about future upgrades and they broke it down for me and explained my options. In the end I went with all stock (cheapest option) and I am happy I did. It is all I needed for my use. I have a 84 Honda Magna 1100 that was having some wiring and carb issues. It was given to me as a gift and I customized it quite a bit, so although it's an old bike, it's kind of sentimental. I took it in about two weeks ago and they fixed me up at a good price. Yesterday I was riding and I stalled out in the middle of the road. Kevin came and picked up the bike, fixed a kinked fuel line and actually rode the bike back to my house for no extra charge. That's service way above and beyond the call of duty. These guys really stand behind their work. Excellent shop. Highly recommended.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Delivery, Electrical

Recently took my bike into Pro Cycle and had some repairs done for a mysterious ticking sound. Kevin was able to diagnose and fix the problems with the bike and get rid of the noise. Pricing was fair and they kept me up to date with progress during the repairs. The bike is now running great, just took it for a 100 mile ride with a mix of highway, dirt roads and trails. Overall I was impressed with the professional service I received and will definitely use them in the future.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I can't say how pleased I was going to Pro Cycle! I found myself on a road trip and my rear tire wore out faster than I hoped on the road...down to the metal threads. I happened to be staying in Arcata and Pro Cycle Service was just down the street from my hotel. So I dropped in right when they opened and Kevin was extremely helpful getting me lined up for a replacement. They didn't have exactly the same size as what my bike had, but it was close enough (150/70 vs 160/60). Besides, what choice did I really have? Kind of over a barrel at this point. :-)Kevin was quick to get the tire on, did it while I took a little walk around the marsh trails by their place. Just as I got back, Kimberly (one of the owners) called me to tell me it was ready. I settled up the bill and while I got ready chatted with Kimberly about my ride over 299 to Red Bluff that day. Got some good tips and pointers, and had a very nice talk.Super friendly people, reasonably fair prices, if a bit on the high side compared to online (but honestly, they could have seriously gouged me if they wanted, knowing that I was screwed and was going to take anything they had). But for drop-in desperate service from helpful, friendly, people, I'm happy to support them.Service: Tires

I was 800 miles from home camping with my 2009 Triumph Bonneville, when I accidentally left the ignition on while doing some shopping. The bike wouldn t start when I got back to it. AAA jumped me, but every morning that followed, the battery couldn t start the bike. I was at a campground 30 miles north of Arcata and, again she wouldn t start. I was fortunate enough to come across Pro Cycle Service in a Google search and after skimming a few reviews gave them a call. Figuring that my battery was toast, I called asking if they could help me. They had an appropriate battery in stock and agreed to get it charged while I waited for a tow truck to show up, and then head down to them.When I got there, there was still around an hour for the battery to get completely charged, and they were kind enough to point me to a nearby brewery, making the wait a lot more pleasant!On my return, Kevin told that my battery wasn t the issue, but the system that recharges the battery as I ride was not working efficiently. Kevin, and another guy who s name I didn t get, worked together for ninety minutes trying to diagnose the issue, testing the components involved. No fault of theirs, they were unable to successfully pinpoint the cause of the issue, and Kevin was kind enough to thoroughly explain what they had done, and that sometimes these un-diagnosable issues occur.They refunded me the cost originally charged for the new battery. They also refused to accept any form of payment from me for the time and effort they spent trying to help. Kevin was also kind enough to give me a set of older, worn, but working jumper cables in hopes that should my bike not start again, I d have a much easier time getting back on the road than having to again wait for a tow truck.I am still blown away from how helpful and friendly everyone at Pro Cycle Service was. They went way above and beyond anything that I d expect -especially knowing that I was from many miles away. Too bad I can only give five stars!Services: Electrical, Battery

First off I can t even begin to express my gratitude I needed my quad fixed for a hunt a few weeks before it was time to leave. I got ahold of them, and they insured me they could get it done. They not only fixed what I asked for they fixed all the little things along the way. They were more than fair on their prices, and they kept me in the loop all along the way. they exceeded my expectations and I would 100% recommend them to anyone.Services: Transmission, Carburetor cleaning, Tires, Oil change

I was on a vacation motorcycle trip when I found that my rear tire was down to the chords and unridable. I called Pro Cycle and they agreed to fit me in right away. They didn't have my normal tire, but suggested something else that I have come to like even more now that I've ridden it a while.They did the work fast and were professionals in every aspect of our transaction. And where they could have gouged an out of town traveler on price, they charged me the same as I would have paid at home.All in all I truly appreciated my business with this company and if they were local to me, I would use them for all of my motorcycle maintenance.Service: Tires

Pro Cycle is awesome! They really do the best they can to take care of you and your ride. I'm not a big spender by any means but I go there often and always get treated like they value my business. So many businesses beg us to shop local then act like they could care less about you when you get in the store. Not the case with Pro Cycle. They will treat you right.

Very knowledgeable and professional!Got to the core of my problem quickly and replaced the battery on my BMW X-Challenge against a fair price! A bike that many shops refuse to work on because it s not brand x or y or some BMW dealers even wouldn t touch because it s too old.I m truly happy to find good shops like along the way. Thanks!

Pro Cycle Service is the place to go for any power sports equipment that you have. They are always welcoming and willing to go the extra mile to make their customers happy and want to return for other needs. They have done several maintenance and upgrades to my husbands bike and are very pleased with the service every time. They also have the cutest mechanic in training that helps out as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Pro Cycle Service is professional and fixed the forks on my Honda VTX 1800 so they no longer leak. This was the 3rd shop I took my bike to and they were the only one's to figure out that someone had scarred the inner tubes and put different sized springs in it (one side shorter than the other). Mark at North Coast Cycle is the one that put heavy duty springs in the forks, he put one spring longer than the other, rebuilt the forks and they STILL leaked. So we took the bike to Ft. Bragg Cycle Supply and after explaining what the problem was, Grace rebuilt the forks. They STILL leaked. Thank goodness for Pro Cycle, they not only fixed the bike the right way, they did it in a week. We've found a shop we can count on and recommend to everyone and we have 5 cruisers that we will be happy to take to Pro Cycle for repairs. Amazing local family owned business They Absolutely went above and beyond the call of duty!!! Helped me push my girl from South F to thier shop so I could get it inside overnight. They are very knowledgeable and had a quick turn around. They kept me updated about what was going on and knew I was on a budget and were very understanding of that. They were professional and it was completely hassle-free with nothing shady and no BS at all. I would definitely go here again but fingers crossed I won't have to!!

This motorcycle shop is truly amazing they went above and beyond for my son and they are good people with good hearts we feel truly blessed by them and my son's KTM couldn't have been in better hands these wonderful people will go to Great lengths to see kids riding dirt bikes and having fun rather than getting into trouble I would highly recommend them for all your dirt bike needs Services: Carburetor cleaning, Exhaust, Tires, Engine repair, Oil change

My uncle Harley-Davidson broke miles away and they came right out with a trailer to get us. Got right to work on it.
