Tried to purchase a new alternator today the poor guy at the counter was swamped. His partner, some guy with a shaved head, stood outside and yucked it up with some friend while folks needed help. Very poor customer service. There are other auto parts stores nearby that want your business. Avoid this one.

Shout out to Wes! He went out in the rain and installed my not so easy wiper blade. Thank you for not giving up and making sure I left there with a newly installed wiper blade. Wes and the rest of the staff there are always friendly and ready to help.

Chandler at Napa Arcata not only found the exact part I needed after seeing me pull into the parking lot billowing smoke, but also installed it for me and was kind and knowledgeable the whole way through! I noticed on my receipt he is employee #777 which checks out, because I feel like I won the lottery because he was there to assist me when I needed it most. I'll definitely never be going anywhere else ever again for auto parts.

Every time I've been there the staff have been friendly and knowledgeable about what parts I need and how to work on the problem. They took their time to explain things too me and help me when I really needed it. Even going out of their way to help me install something to save me from having to call AAA for the second time that day. I very much recommend this place, and will continue to go there.

Staff was knowledgeable and to the point. Was doing a water pump on a Chevy ecotech and they advised me about requiring a special adapter/tool needed to accomplish the job which saved me the headache and frustration of costly repairs. Napa is one of the few go-to businesses for my automotive tech and mechanical repairs and the likes.

Justin at Napa is friendly and super helpful, actually gives customer service a name. He didn t have to be that helpful, but went above for me. listened to me, and did his absolute best. Over all, I ve never had a bad experience there. And I ve been there quite a few times, as I live right down the road. The guy with the pony tail was also very helpful too (sorry I don t know his name) thank you Justin and the crew, I will be back when I need parts or some advice. You guys rock

Staff was somewhat helpful, but didn't get a lot accomplished at this location. They seem to have decent stock of parts and supplies, but I just didn't get a good 'feel' from this location. I'm not saying they were rude or off-putting in any way... it just that I think the typical customer who walks into this location is either a mechanic, or owns a shop of some sorts. In other words... it just 'seemed' like you needed to have more experience when talking to the staff. I was also sent to this location by a local mechanic shop to get a part for my vehicle. The NAPA guy researched the computer and concluded that I couldn't get the part for my car, and that there was no solution for what I was after. Later, I talked with an independent mechanic who assured me that he could perform the work I needed done. So... that's one independent mechanic as well as an entire mechanic shop saying one thing, and NAPA saying something opposite. It just leaves me wondering if they really know their stuff or if they're just grasping at straws sometimes. Still -- very friendly people and good selection.

We love Napa Auto Parts of Arcata. Great service, knowledgeable employees. It may cost a little more to shop here, compared to ordering online, but a few extra bucks to support our local businesses is worth it. Shop here for all of your auto needs, we do!

Excellant prompt service! I just experienced what an awesome place Napa Auto Parts is! I drove up with a broken windshield wiper and they immediately replaced it for me on the spot! Thanks for the great service! Now I got to drive safely back to Eureka with a set of new wipers! Awesome job!

NAPA Auto is one of the most dependable stores that I use their return policy service knowledge are just a few of the things that keep me coming back I've known Frank for 40 years. You know why they say Napa Know How well they really do. They also have a really good paint store inside the Arcata branch which I've used numerous times they're outside Services just as good. They deliver my parts really fast

Poor customer service. No idea why, it's a retail job. Bare minimum of courtesy would be nice. Drove down to Eureka and got better service and slightly cheaper price on parts at a competing business.

Offers a 10% AAA discount. Had to exchange my 5yr warrantied battery after 2 1/2 yrs. AAA diagnosed 1 dead cell. No problem with receiving my pro-rated refund on the warranty. Aaron went out of his way to be helpful!

Very courteous and helpful employees! I was wandering around the store, not noticing what I needed. They oriented me and even got the funnel I requested. A worthy business.

Terrible gouging prices. I have gone to Napa exclusively for the quality of the employees and their knowledge for years, but i'm done. I just got charged $68 for a bottle of Blue Devil Head Gasket sealer at Napa Auto that sells for $25 at both Walmart and Amazon. This is the 3rd time in a couple months that they gouged me on Auto parts. I wanted to support my local Napa Auto store, so I purposely didn't buy it from Amazon a few days ago. I expected to pay $5 more, but I was shocked when I saw the price at Napa. They had me over a barrel, because I need the product for a repair this weekend. Never again. I'll go to Amazon from now on.
