Alex at Gower's Garage helped me get my 2012 Subaru Outback back on the road when I was dealing with a misfire and the dealer had no idea how to fix it. He quickly diagnosed the work, was transparent in the estimate, and had the car back to me when I thought it might be done for, all for a GREAT price. Alex is incredibly personable and knowledgeable. I m only visiting and my truck started acting up he managed to squeeze me in same day so I wouldn t have to travel over a snowy mountain pass without peace of mind that me and my vehicle would make it back to Redding.

Alex is the man, very friendly and knowledgeable. He is the only mechanic I go to in the area, I know he'll do the job right the first time without taking me for every dollar I have. He's happy to explain issues for people who aren't mechanically inclined like myself, and his Subaru experience means he's aware of every major issue and how to fix them. Only person in humboldt I'd let touch my car, had my car aligned at simply performance.. had him install and bleed the brakes and he noticed every adjustment bolt and control arm wasn't even tight

Alex and his crew are super awesome. Fixed my car the same day I brought it in. He even came to my house to jump my car because the alternator was dead. Couldn t recommend this guy more. The employee there with him was super awesome too. First time I brought a vehicle there, and it won t be the last. I m sending anyone I know there that has a problem with their vehicle. Took my Subaru Outback in for a new clutch and radiator as both were bad and Alex was very knowledgeable and concise in his explanation of what needed to be done. This shop is awesome!! I had an engine built by another shop and it broke after 3k miles. Alex was understanding of the situation and fixed what the other shop had missed and the failure. Five high-fives and stars for these guys.
