We made an appointment with Aptos Tire and Auto Care earlier this week for an oil change. They'd told us it could be between 1-1.5 hrs when making that appt. The day of our appt there was unexpected rain. When they learned we'd be waiting with our newborn, they made a point to have us in and out within 20-30min. Deeply appreciated! Kind, excellent service! Affordable price!

With a last minute appointment they rotated all four tires while I waited. Since I bought my tires there it was at no charge. It was done in 20 minutes and I was on my way. Great service!

I needed an alignment and a tire rotation pretty bad. I came here and I'm very pleased with the results. The truck is driving so much smoother than it was before I came. Thank you guys.

I have been to Aptos Tire and Auto several times to get new tires. They do good work. They are fast and efficient. Also, they stand by their nail in the tire policy. I got multiple nails in 2 separate tires within a few weeks of each other. I called them and they said bring the car in, they fixed my tire the same day within an hour's time. Even though they seem to always be busy, they always make time for me. I recommend this shop!Service: Tires

I got a screw in my tire at the post office. Called from there to see if they fixed tires. Yes! And they could for me in!! Careful drive there. Fast service, nice people, good price. Highly recommend!!

I've lived in Aptos close to 50 years, and this location has been active for auto service for the entirety. Traffic and population have increased substantially! When Aptos Tire and Auto Care came into business, my tire troubles generally happened far away. When that inevitably came to pass in town after our pothole winter, these folks handled it smoothly, ordered a special tire and installed it the following morning. They checked all the rest of my tires, and I was finished in minutes. The price was fair, and the friendliness was way beyond expectation. I won't wander for tires and service anymore.Service: Tires

Miguel, Luiz, and a few other people who worked there who s names we didn t get were absolutely wonderful. They helped us get new tires and an axle alignment so quickly and easily while we were mid road trip. Thank you!

Chris is one of the last real mechanics in the area. He is the only mechanic honest enough to tell me when he doesn't want to, and he gives a fair quote and high quality service when he can and does. The way it should be, done right the first time, without a bunch of baloney. a+ Home Run All American.

My Honda Odyssey broke down while I was vacationing in Aptos. I brought it to the Aptos Garage based on their stellar reviews and was not disappointed. They really seemed to care about helping me, even though I had no appointment and they were very busy. They were able to fix my van in less than 24 hours and I was back on the road. Called ahead and made an appointment. Easy drop off the night before. My car was mysteriously losing electric power and draining the battery. Thought it would be $$$ for alternator, coil, ignition switch, new battery but they ran the codes and discovered the battery terminals needed replacement. Charged were 1 hour diagnosis and parts for $125. These guys are really good and don t try to up sell you.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical, Battery

Great service. Locally owned. There have been several occasions where several of my tires have been shredded, in fact, one time I pulled into Aptos Tire nearly on my rims. Everytime, Aptos Tire is courteous, quick to calm me down, and quick to replace my tires bought from another tire dealer. Very good prices too. Highly recommended.

Chris and his mechanics were able to diagnose my vehicle and repair the damaged spark plug and injector in my Honda Element. Just had new brakes and new tires with alignment and balancing. My 11 year old car feels so smooth . . . Luis is always so helpful, this place is trustworthy and great value. Highly recommended.

This place is low stress. They did what they said & more. Last place we went was aweful & charged us for work they never did. Aptos Tire & Auto Service was easy to talk to. They didn't make fake promises. They were polite nice & helped us. Was a big relief. Can't imagine gambling on another place when these guys actually helped us & did a great job. Even though we don't live near them. We're making them our first choice.

My review comes via my , long time customer, sister's experiences. She has always had a story with a happy customer at the end. The way Aptos Village has changed I happy to see original buildings still being used. That Mom! & Pop look and feel. That's a village, not what is on the other side of the tracks. Progress ? Not in my eyes. Outstanding garage locally located. 5

Went here to get my car checked out before a very long road trip. Told the mechanic they could whatever needs to be done up to XXX dollars. They came back and said, besides needing an oil change everything is good. After this I trust these guys. I highly recommend and would go back again.

Carlos at Aptos Tire saved the day after we got a nail in our car tire! It was late afternoon on a Friday, and he fixed it in record time as we grabbed coffee close by. We were back on our road trip within the hour. Excellent timely service! Highly recommend.

I had called the night before and stressed the importance of needing to get my car there at 8am when they opened. I had to have time to get back home and drive to Santa Cruz with the traffic to be at work by 9. I waited until about 8:20 before I had to leave or I would be late. I then called until after 8:50am and still no one was there. When I finally got ahold of someone they didn't want to bother talking to me because I was obviously upset. I had rented a car to be able to get to work and leave my car at the shop all day. Now I have to keep my rental for another day and find another place to take it. All I got was "there was traffic"... Yes welcome to the world it's called rush hour. 30 mins of traffic is not a valid excuse to be an hour late for work. Even if they left at 8am, which when you start at 8 would be unprofessional as it is, someone should have been there at 830. Thanks for not only wasting my time but making me spend another $100 to rent a car for another day. Extremely unprofessional but I guess a good learning curve because if this is the quality of care and work ethic they possess I would never want them to touch my car.

I was referred to Chris from an airplane mechanic I work with. I had an issue with the 02 sensors on my Jeep and they were able to tell me the drive cycle to get them running again and it worked because I finally passed my smog inspection!!! Super friendly staff and highly recommend! Thanks guys!!!

Had some good experiences but I am sorry to say that I won't go back. I had them look for my oil leak. They said it was a broken washer and fixed it for free. It kept leaking. The next mechanic found a leak between the transmission and the engine. Plus let us know our breaks were so bad we shouldn't be driving the car. They had no reason to lie as we were going to donate the car it it was too much to fix.

I had a great experience using Aptos Garage, as I traveled through Aptos on my way down the coast. The guys knew I was traveling through, and not only went out of their way to help me, but they didn't find anything wrong with the car and sent me on my way without any charges. They seemed honest and responsive, and I would recommend this as the shop to use for any travelers.

Thank you to Brycen for great service. I was very happy with my visit and the work done. I will be back.I noticed while i was there that these guys are busy, and you can see they work hard and get things done quickly.There are some negatives about this place... the parking is very tight. To leave I had to back out directly into traffic on Soquel Avenue at a bend in the road. Also, this place needs a facelift - it has an old and dirty look. A pressure washer and a coat of paint would do wonders.
