Go somewhere else where the staff is honest!! This would be the place to charge you for something you don't need at the least. Took my diesel truck for a smog, it has an Edge programmer sitting right on top of the dash. It is the first thing you see when you open the door, when you start the truck it lights up and makes a sound.... stay with me. My year truck has no smog components from the dealer/factory, I didn't think it was an issue it has always passed smog. I am not upset that they did not pass it, they are doing their job if that makes it illegal. The tech asked for my keys, opened the door, looked at the screen, got in it, started it, moved my truck and put it in the shop just to tag it with the state and charged me. Not until then did he tell me he couldn't pass it with the device there hooked up. The reason I am upset is any decent human being would have just said from the get go "hey it wont pass with this on here", it was the first thing he looked at before even getting in the truck!!! I watched him check it out then get in and input the truck just to fail it and tag it. I will say it again, I am not mad at him not passing the truck, I am mad because thats not taking care of your customer it is ripping people off. I hope those $51.95 he made are worth being exposed. I also will upload a picture in case they try to deny how obvious it is for someone in this line of work. Again I watched him look at it and touch it before he even got in my truck.RESPONSE TO REPLY:You are just mad that people can expose you and share what happened at your dishonest shop. You care about the money and not the customer, it was obvious, you cant miss the display. I would have more respect for you if you just trained your staff instead of making stuff up. It already passed at the states facility, they took the time to look up the order so do your best to get even! I will repeat again, I AM NOT MAD IT DID NOT PASS I AM UPSET YOU ARE A CROOK!!!!

Top of the line service, even on a busy day they work quick to fit you into there process. If you want fast service at a fair price you have come to the right place. Also they offer other services beyond smog, I got an oil change there as well and was super convenient. Thanks again Apple Valley Smog Check.

Great place for a smog check. Very friendly and quick. Price was fair. I was out in 30 minutes with 2 people ahead of me.

I arrived about 15 minutes before 5pm for a smog check and they still ran the check for me. The process was quick and efficient and the employees were friendly and helpful. Smog check was $60 (January 2023).

I brought a beautiful 1982 Dodge truck for a Smog Test and told the owner to please be careful with the paint and the vehicle. He said to me, You think you re so special, go elsewhere. Very rude and unprofessional. Do not go here.

Highly recommend this Smog Test Only STAR Station. Jesus came out, greeted my teenage son and I and asked us what he can help us with. He then quickly showed us the waiting room and started the smog test process. We were done in less than 20 minutes since there was no other customer waiting. Save yourself some money at this place as other shops I shopped around were charging more for the same service. A good experience my son had as a new responsible driver.

Went for a smog on a Saturday morning. The guys were great. They got right on it while I was watching TV in there cool waiting area with cardboard cut outs of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans also good Magazines to read.Bottom line they were very professional.

Have 2 cars and a truck. Lucky me all 3 had to be done this year. Took all 3 here and had no problems. Didn't take very long and a descent price. I give it a green light.

Got right in, they were quick, efficient and got the job done! Not big on personality but that's not needed to get a smog check! They have a waiting room which is more than a lot of smog check places!! It was 50.00 with certificate out the door, they take debit and credit too. We recommend them!

If your car is not ready for the smoke they don't tell you until they run it in the computer. I've never seen that usually they scan it before and tell you what's going on then they go for it. In this case they charge me more than half so that way I come back to them for the rest I think they should work on their integrity so ppl can trust in them. Cuz I'll never come back the only reason I did it with them is because they are close I don't recommend this place to no body.

I've only gotten smogs there . But They're quick easy and quite professional. I highly recommend this place. And they're at a reasonable price.

The visit was amazing, the specialist was polite, knowledgeable and 1 was quite attractive. It was a bit pricey but when you can take advantage of the state forcing STAR smogs on poor people...DO WHAT YOU DO! I'll just have to adjust my hustle the next opportunity I am blessed with. DUCES

Very disappointed in this business, we have used this business for years, I thought if you didn't pass you didn't pay $40 is a bit steep for nothing. He could have at least suggested what needed to be done and not just say I'm sorry you're like five off it should be 30 Foreigner 39 that is so sad be careful going there don't pass don't pay is what I thought I was getting into thank youServices: Smog certification, Emissions testing

This place is legitimately one of the top places to get work done around the area. The staff is friendly and easy going, while being helpful with what needs to be done with your vehicle. There s even some food places around the area that gives you something to do while you wait if it gets to that point. Definitely would recommend this to others!

They do it all in this complex. Smog/alignments and actually know how to do alignments with cutting edge equipment. They also do repairs at a very reasonable price. One stop shop would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone

In and out in probably 15 minutes or so. Of course it was when they opened in the morning, but still. It might be different if there are others waiting in line, but overall I like the service as far as smog check test/certification is concerned.

It isn't much to look at, but they had me in and out in about 15 minutes. Competitive price about the same as other places I checked.
