My vehicle was shifting rough and I had thought the transmission was broken. But I took it here and they checked every part of the transmission and kept me up to date on my car whenever they found out new info. It turned out to be my transmission computer that was the problem. It took about 2 weeks (because we had to wait for a part to ship) and my car was working like new. The staff are very friendly and informative. Would definitely come back!

Took in my Silverado with a 4L60 for a complete rebuild got my truck back running amazing hauls great temp don t rise do to Mario s knowledge and recommending a transmission cooler beyond satisfied everyone in that shop are extremely professional, work areas are clean and employees are friendly but respectful.

My Grandson and I were headed to Banning CA from Las Vegas. For my Granddaughters Graduation's Transmission gave out in Barstow. We rented a car they retrieved our Cadillac had it in their shop and rebuilt like new in two days, kept me informed every step of the way.Tecnicians did a great job!! Mario . Thanks!!

In these times it's hard to find a reputable shop with talented techs. These guys out did themselves on my 2010 Chevrolet Colorado 5.3l V8 LT 2WD transmission repair/maintenance request. Reasonable costs. No hassle. Thanks to Mario and the team @ 5 Star Transmission. God bless you all.

I ve spent over $8,000 here having multiple vehicles repaired. I recently called to ask if they could do some repairs on another vehicle of mine to be told they don t work on the particular brand. In the process of the gentleman saying that I tried asking him if he could recommend another repair place and he hung up on me. I called back and let them know that I am very good customer and how much I ve spent there and that it s very rude to hang up on a customer to be told that they could care less and I said I will not bring my work there ever again or recommend them and they said they don t even care. Very obnoxious and rude people there !! I would definitely recommend bringing your repairs elsewhere unless you wanna be treated poorlyServices: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

After taking our travel trailer out for the weekend, our 4 wheel drive truck decided it wasn t going to allow us to go into any gear but 2nd. We thought we were going to have to drop a new transmission in it. So began our search for a local highly rated transmission company and 5 Star Transmission had great reviews. Extremely personable and professional staff. It turned out our transmission cable had broken and we didn t need a new transmission. They could ve told us we needed a new transmission and we would have been none the wiser but they proved to be a business with integrity. In addition they also lubricated the ball joints because upon looking the truck over they noticed they needed it, but didn t charge us anything additional. We truly felt they went above and beyond and they definitely have our recommendation and future business.Service: Transmission

I brought my suburban here to get the transmission rebuilt, they did an excellent job and had it completed in just 3 days! The owner even showed me around the shop. I will definitely come back for any future work (although i hope i don't have to lol)

I took my car here yesterday and they checked it for no charge and explained everything to me that was going to need repaired. Mario told me to bring my car back this morning and one of his employees gave me a ride home which wasn t their responsibility at all and he was very nice as well. The car was done by 4 pm today and I couldn t be more happier with my experience. If you need any repairs don t hesitate to take your car here everyone is friendly, pleasant and courteous

By far the most friendliest shop I've ever been to, starting from leaders to technicians to mechanic, greetings and making sure customers are comfortable. They will make sure that all customers are satisfy with the work that they've done to Customer vehicle, cus I am satisfied with what they did with my trucks transmission and electrical issue on my wife's car.

We brought our car in with a cracked radiator. They were able to get the part we needed and install it in one afternoon so we were able to get back on the road. Their service was very efficient and of high quality. The people who work in the shop were extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend bribing your car here. They know what they are doing and it s affordable

It's not called 5 Star for nothing! Albert Mario and everyone was so helpful.I found out my transmission oil cooler line was leaking. I called around and the average quote was $300-$400 to fix. I came in 5 STAR and they found it was just the quick connector on the coolant line that was damaged and parts and labour would be $130.Upon installing it they found that the connector was broken because the radiator fan had been chipped and damaged the radiator coolant line thread meaning the whole radiator and fan needed replacement. They even showed me so I could better understand what was going on and everything they diagnosed was legit. The new estimate was $400.Considering other places were going to charge me that much just for the line and here I got a new radiator, line, AND fan, it was a great price. They got parts and fixed it all in the same day.You can tell these guys actually care about their work and do all they can to help you while giving an honest opinion. There's definitely a lot of integrity with these guys. Will only be taking my car here for any type of service. Much respect and thanks again!

I can express how amazing these technicians are. Very professional and will give you quality service. I have had my transmission and suspension done here and haven't had any issues since.They know what they're doing and are happy to explain to you in detail about the work they'll be doing on your car. They really do put the customer first and make sure you are taken care of.

Went to go an oil and radiator flush and my car has not stopped pouring radiator fluid out since. The guy said he just needed to replace one part and at the end of it all I went from spending $300+ to over $1,200.

Absolutely Amazing service. Transmission wend out on Friday night before new years. They were one of the only shops to answer the phone Saturday morning and stayed late to receive to car off the tow truck. Very reasonable price, great work ethic and very kind. They even called us about 2 hours after it was fixed to make sure it was driving right.I even took them a box of donuts.

These guys @ 5-Star have worked on a few of my vehicles and have done a great job. Most importantly they stand behind their work!. I had to go out of town on a trip and there was a part that needed to be replaced and ordered, they got me on the road for now and saved my trip. Then Covid happened, after months of not being able to get back there, they still replaced this part at no charge!!! These guys are professional and honest PERIOD!!Service: Transmission

Honest, Friendly, and really cares for the customer. I had clutch replaced there. First they towed my car from my home. Then they called me and explained in detail what the problem was (didn't try to sell me something i didn't need), and gave me a good price. When it was done they told me to come back in a couple of weeks just to make sure everything was still nice and tight. Took it back and they found that some seals were leaking fluid and I needed about $300 worth of work. I talked to Jen in the front office and she felt bad even though it wasn't there fault. When i went to pick it up she told me it was free and not to worry about it. This type of customer service care is hard to find now a days. If ur looking for an honest shop, you come to the right place.

So a few months ago I had some engine work done where my air conditioner had to be evacuated. I recently took my car to a shop in Hesperia to service/recharge air conditioner. I was told my compressor was locked up and would need to be replaced. (This was confusing and upsetting becuse my air was working fine before the engine work) I then went to 5 star and told them the situation. Albert hooked up my car and checked everything. My air works great! It didn't need a compressor at all!! I am so happy!!! Thank you for your help and your honesty. You saved me hundreds $$$ I highly recommend them. I will be back

5 Star did an amazing job fixing my radiator on my 1997 Toyota 4Runner. Friendly staff, professional work, and fast timing. Price was most reasonable in the area.

I had actually gone to a popular auto/transmission shop on BV rd and was told my trans fluid was burnt and the cost would be around the $6k range. I went to 5Star and only told them what my vehicle was doing. They did a diagnostic test and told me there was a part in the trans that needed to be replaced. Estimated costs $200. I asked how the trans fluid was and was told that it was dirty. I had the trans fluid changed and the part replaced. Cost out the door was $220. I've already been to northern California and back with no problems. Be careful on where you go. However, coming to 5 Star was great the right place to go. They now have a life time customer along with other drivers in my family.

Best transmission shop in town got my transmission on my Montero replaced for 2000!! I had took it to a shop before paid 2500 and it was still broken took it here they rebuilt it now it runs stronger than ever! Thank you so much you guys are amazing! The lady in the office even have my puppy a dog treat!:)

My experience here was amazing. The people there are very knowledgable, work hard and efficient, and are very friendly. Mario is the man and he runs his place amazingly. The only place I will go to for my car maintenance from now on. Highly recommended.

Went to a shop near by called big Apple automotive quoted us $150 for each car to diagnose and even if we got it fixed they would still charge us the diag in all my years I have never heard of this! Walked to 5 star and was greeted with a smile and way better prices. Great work friendly people and awesome mechanics

I had a great experience with them I had my 4L60E rebuilt on my S10. They re a trustworthy shop and they treat you like family. If you need work done I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

This company is extremely professional and has amazing customer service. Our car broke down in the middle of nowhere. Mario sent out a tow track and had a new transmission running smoothly for us in a week. The car runs like a dream now. Thanks Mario!
