Apex auto in Anderson was amazing to us. We have only lived here a short time and had our car taken there. They could have sold me a whole new $350 alternator and I wouldn t have known the difference, but it was a fuse, they had it back to me as soon as the got the part for a minimal fee. I hope not to need them but when I do, that s where I would go. Also really kind and honest people working there.

Part throwing artists. Unfortunately that doesn t fix the problem. Misdiagnosed my vehicle, charged me only to break down 10 miles down the road. A reputable company would have followed through and fixed the problem. Horrible customer service. Left getting verbally attacked by the owner.

This place is really amazing, we had my sons truck towed in and within two hours it was fixed and it was a very affordable rate, I couldn t believe it!If you are looking for a really good mechanic, this is the place you need to go!

Apex auto is LITERALLY the best auto mechanics. They are affordable, dependable, and quick. Everytime I have brought my car to them they have fixed it good as new, and saved me hundreds of dollars! Can't say anything but good my car is running great after being broke down in my driveway for over a year they have me back on the road. They were fast and worked with my insurance and warranty and I didn't have to pay a dime out of my pocket!

Very exceptional work staff and management , I had to send my car cuz I couldn't figure out why It wouldn't start and I'll tell you if you ever have a problem with your car not starting and you can't figure it out. That's the place to go. Not only exceptional work. Good friendly staff and affordable prices, Shane and the mechanics. Thank you guys for doing such a great job. We had problems with our F-250 last month as we started out on a month-long vacation towing our big 5th wheel. We called around the Redding area and Apex said they had time to look at it. We shut down in their parking lot, and when we started the truck for them to look at it, the starter literally fell off - 3 broken bolts. The owner, James, got started on the repairs right away, but we were stuck till parts arrived the next morning. It was 105 degrees out and the trailer was getting hot, but James pulled out a huge generator and sent one of his guys out for gas to run it. We cranked up both a/cs and spent the night. He put in 4 hours of work getting one of the broken bolts out, had us back on the road by 1 PM the next day with a new starter. We carried on with our trip through Glacier NP and across the Canadian Rockies, 3900 miles with no more problems. We re grateful to James and Apex for going out of their way and rescuing our vacation. The price was fair and we were treated wonderfully.

All I can say is thank you! We cracked our radiator coming over the Siskiyous from Oregon. We were on our way to Pheonix,AZ and in a time crunch. We dropped the car around 4 pm on Wednesday and they had us back on the road by 10:30 am the next morning. They were kind, good at explaining what had happened, showed us exactly what had happened and they weren t at all offended when we reached out to our home mechanic to confirm what was up. Exceptionally happy with how we were treated.

James is an honest business man. I have been bringing my vehicles to him for years. He has always been able to repair any issue I ve had. Getting parts these days is another issue but so far James has pulled through. He is reasonable and fair. James and his crew are awesome. I had an issue with a motor warranty from Toyota in Texas and he went to bat for me in court, testifying on my behalf. I would like to thank Shane and Apex for getting my AC in my truck working again and also fixing my Radiator. The management and communication at Apex is amazing and it s something I ve never experienced before. They are so knowledgeable and helpful to me when my truck starts acting up. I absolutely love this place! My Dad recommended I go here years ago when it was Economy Radiator and Tire for a rack and pinion issue. Everywhere else quoted me insanely high pricing and couldn t get me an appointment till days later. Apex took such great care of me and had me back on the road within hours. As I sit here again years later waiting for my brakes to be finished, I m receiving the best customer care and the best pricing just as before. Jake was able to get me in same day and beat any other price I was quoted. I ll never go anywhere else and I am so grateful for these guys!

I couldn t be happier with James and his staff! They re very communicative and professional. I needed the engine replaced in my insulation truck, and for it to be done quickly and be problem free once finished. If I m not working, I m losing money. James was very understanding of my situation and did everything he said would do and more. The price was very fair and the work was outstanding!

I have been going to this shop for years, having several vehicles serviced here, but in the past year have had TERRIBLE service with Economy Radiator Tire & Automotive or APEX Automotive as they recently changed their name. The customer service is terrible. All they care about is making that mighty dollar, and could care less about the customer or even customer satisfaction. Instead of trying to make the customer happy, especially one that has been bringing business to his shop, James would rather argue to justify the fact that he is ripping people off and not doing a quality service. James has very poor customer service and after doing a job that obviously did not need to be done, had nothing to say except to belittle me over the phone and tell me that I'm the adult and it is my responsibility to know exactly what needs to be done when I bring in my vehicle, so they proceeded to replace something that did not need replacing. Instead of saying, hey this doesn't need to be replaced, went ahead and replaced it, and didn't have the decency to make a quick phone call to double check that I wanted it replaced when it wasn't necessary. I them asked, don't you want to have a good repor with your customers? He could care less, and this is not the only incident this has happened. I DO NOT recommend this Automotive shop. Very poor communication as well, which results in the customer just shelling out more money. And be careful, especially if you are a woman, they will take advantage of your lack of knowledge, for their own benefit! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!

Formally economy radiator tire and repair is now Apex automotive. The folks at the shop have all of the state of the art equipment to work on very new to very old vehicles with mechanics that are top notch. I recommend this shop for anyone that wants to not get price gouged and have excellent service done.

Thus place was recommended to me by a friend. She said they are honest mechanics. I decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed. They did an excellent job and did not charge me an arm and a leg for it. I will be bringing my car to them from now on. Their shop is clean, staff is wonderful. It is a very busy place.

My dad introduced me to this place years ago! What an awesome place. Everyone we know that needs repair he tells them to go here. Not going into detail but one time years ago I had an issue with my pontiac ( nothing that was the shops fault of course) but James took it back and made sure everything was perfect .....didnt return it until every little thing was fixed. We were away from home and our engine overheated and we needed a new radiator. Found this place online and they got us fixed the next day. We made it home safely. They gave us excellent service at a very reasonable price. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Each time I have gone to Economy has been a great experience of excellent customer service. I so appreciate their honesty and fair pricing that I keep a stack of their cards on me to pass out to those looking for an awesome repair. I strongly recommend them if you are looking for a reputable and fairly priced place to take you vehicle.

They work on all my vehicles. Always professional. Always courteous. I trust these folks to do great work, have a fair price, and give you an honest feedback. It's hard to find that in business today. You need a vehicle fixed I promise you it will be done right.

Terrible place!! People need to be very careful here!! Not honest at all and they removed parts from my vehicle and never replaced them!!! I then took my vehicle to a different shop and had to pay to have it repaired correctly!!! Customer beware!!!

I wish there was a zero star because they don t even deserve a one. Took our truck there which was running great, just had a small leak in radiator which we wanted fixed before it got too hot. They fixed it and on the way home, the trucks check engine light came on and began to misfire and over heat. Took the truck back to them, they fixed it again. Got back home and there was a puddle of coolant under the truck. We Called them and took truck back a third time, then they called and were rude saying it was our fault and now the water pump is out. In which they wanted to charge us more money. We Tried to discuss what happened from beginning to end, and the owner kept saying it s an old car and that s why these things happened. However the truck had no problems driving until we took it there. The owner is a con artist, they say the have the cheapest price, but it seemed like in the long run they created more problems to get more money. They were trying to charge us double for parts, when we called the part store they were half the price the owner was trying to charge. He tried saying the bad reviews online were all lies, as if every car the send back is perfect and they have never had one problem. The owner said it s not his fault we don t have the money to fix it, we do have the money but after the first two times the sent the truck back worse why would we give them more money. Don t do business here, they don t know how to handle customers or issues when a problem arises, they will just blame you. He s probably going to say this post isn t valid because my name isn t in their database like he did on multiple other reviews, however it was under my boyfriends name, I m leaving the review because I was appalled at how he ha for the entire situation.

I have taken my vehicles to James for years I have sent him over 50 customers. Then trouble started when i took my ford to get repaired. All the repairs they did failed but i did not give up on them. I took my kia to them with a headlamp issue. They told me it could not be fixed so i took it to a auto electrician and he fixed the bad ground and noted that my headlamp pins where missing that hold them in. But i did not give up on them. I took my boat to them over a week ago, They said 3 are 4 days I did not hear from them for over a week . When i dropped it off i told then i did not want my boat left out. Well it rained and they did. When i asked James about he rudely said pick your boat up i dont want to be responsible. After having it for over a week no work had been done. I have left this shop 4 times with my hood not even secured. I dont know what happened to this great shop but they truly suck now.

Horrible work, zero pride in customer service! They will do work without informing you. They will make you wait weeks to even look at your vehicle. If you wait there they will make you wait till the end of the day to even start working on your vehicle.The owner James is verbally abusive to the customers. The 2 assistants do not take notes or write anything down nor do they take pride in there work or hygiene for that matter. The mechanic's even stated the owner has them do shady stuff! None of the assistants or james wear mask's exposing customers to possibly covid when its state wide mandated they wear masks. They do not take pride in there work nor do they have any respect for the customers. Hands down worst experience, the owner James is the rudest ill tempered individual severely lacking in how to run a professional business. I do not recommend anyone to go to this joke of a business unless you like paying for stuff you didn't need and dealing with the better business bureau.
