David is an amazing guy. Great work ethic and great mechanic. He always delivers the best service with the best prices. He has been my go to mechanic for couple years. One of my friends referred him to me and since then I always refer him to my friends and they always thank me later. Definitely the best service with the best price.

David was recommended by a family friend and has proven to be a great mechanic. He fixed our stubborn Honda for a fraction of the price quoted by another mechanic, and did a great job servicing our other cars. He is willing to work during the holidays and gets jobs done quickly. His work ethic and honesty are some of the reasons we will be using him for future services. Highly recommend!

This mechanic was recommended through my sister and had said that he had done amazing work for her at a very agreeable price. Called him up and he was available to work on my car that same day. Had my check engine light on for a while. Had taken it to multiple mechanics and after spending thousands of dollars they couldn t fix the problem. He not only found the problem right away, he was able to fix it within an hour. Will only be using this mechanic from now on! Thank you David!

Yesterday my wife and our adult son drove from the San Francisco Bay Area to the Los Angeles area to assist my son who was entering a trade school and he is taking up temporary residence there. If that wasn t stressful enough on a rainy day, my son s truck began to overheat on the freeway in Long Beach and they were stuck. I was at home in Northern Cali and I began calling mobile mechanics in the Long Beach area for assistance. After exhausting my efforts to no avail, David, the owner of Laoretti's Mechanic Services, texted me back after a missed call to him earlier when I began making these calls. David was very apologetic for missing the call, he was checking in to be of assistance and he explained he was working on another vehicle, however, he would be available a short time later. In summary, David responded to my families location within 90 minutes at a hotel and he diagnosed the problem as a bad thermostat. David repaired the thermostat, he filled the radiator and reservoir with coolant and he further analyzed the engine s performance providing his expertise and confidence the issue was resolved. My wife and son were able to continue on the journey because of David s awesome courteous customer service; his follow-up to a missed call; his expertise and his ability to schedule an appointment right away even though he was in heavy demand. Lastly, the price was very low and reasonable which was totally surprising to me for having an expert mobile mechanic come to you Thanks again David! You are in our contacts for any future services and we will definitely recommend your services to traveling friends and family in the area.

Sent a text a day before Easter Day to see if he was available to replace a crankshaft sensor for my niece's 2011 Jeep. He responded quickly and was able to come out and replace it. Would recommend to anyone.

My family and I were here for the week visiting Disneyland. One night, on the way back to the hotel, we lost the power stealing and the battery light came on. I was able to get it back to the hotel. After searching for 24 hour mechanics, David s business came up. I called and David was very friendly and we quickly determined that it was the serpentine belt. He looked at the price on autozone and only charged me for the price of the parts plus his fee. Extremely reasonable! He was at the hotel with in 45 min. After closer inspection, I needed to have the idler pulley replaced. He packed his stuff up, went to autozone and was back quickly. He was quick, polite, professional, and extremely affordable. We drive a European vehicle and I thought for sure we would have to take it to a specialist mechanic but was able to take care of it without a problem! Thank you David for saving our vacation!

Excellent service. Called David in the morning and he came out in the afternoon. He came out to replace my starter motor and within an hour it was done.Pricing was excellent too.I liked his work/attitude so much, I used him again to replace my rear brake shoes and do an oil change.Scheduling was not the best this time, took him a while to show up but hey we all know how other jobs can get drawn out!Left a bit of a mess/stain (oil/brake fluid) on my street afterwards though.The guy hustles. He had a job before me, worked on mine after till 7.30pm, then off to another. Kudo's to the young man.Would I use him again? Absolutely.

David was awesome start to finish. I was a bit nervous at first with this being a Craigslist ad. But, I was immediately put at ease by David's prompt reply to my initial text/inquiry that included his business profile/introduction. Very professional. He Promptly provided me with a very competitive job estimate and then got me scheduled right away. He got delayed due to issues with his prior job-which does easily happen right? The main thing for me...he kept me informed of his time-line. He ended up giving me priority the following day and showed up right on time. He was very knowledgeable of my job request. I was very impressed with his no nonsense business approach. David got the job done in a very timely manner and my car... drives like a dream again. I love having a Mobile Mechanic and David Laoretti is my new mobile mechanic. All my neighbors and friends will get my strong referral/recommendation because I'm 100% confident David will take good care of them at a very competitive price. Needless to say...I give LMS a 5 Star rating. No reason to waste your time. Just send David a text and your car problems will soon be gone. And... you'll save yourself a lot of money . I sure did.

David replaced an alternator and belt on my 2005 Toyota Highlander. Even though he encountered a few unexpected problems, he managed to work through them and completed the job (at the quoted price).Vehicle is working fine.Highly recommended and will definitely use again.

This mobile mechanic is all you need . He responds in a timely manner, keeps you up to-date with his location and eta.His work is impeccable. I have not had any problems since my car has been fixed. The service is hands downs the best, he informed me of all his findings and sent pictures explained everything so I could understand.I will definitely be using his services again.Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

They might be good at what they claim they do, but you'll never find out. They dont answer any calls or messages. If you are lucky, they'll reply with a message selling you their services, and then vanish in the wind. Those who got their cars serviced by them, you are now blessed souls of God and should be canonized.

David came at 6 pm , diagnosed tie rods and PS fluid and performed the work and finished around 9 pm. He comes in a van and is prepared with all tools. I appreciated the flexibility

STOP!! SAVE YOURSELF NOW! It sucks to have to do this but times are tough for everyone and I can t afford to have money stolen from me. David is struggling like many of us except he s willing to lie and steal. He never showed for scheduled repairs and played the victim with a slew of excuses when asked for a refund. Life has been tough for a lot of people and it doesn t give you the right to rip off a family that is also struggling. He provided a quote for the repair, scheduled it, collected a deposit, and never showed up to complete the scheduled repair. September 23rd 2023 I provided $90 for a diagnostic and an additional $450 for parts/initial down payment. After the no shows and multiple interactions with David, when a refund was requested his response was that he was waiting for a refund from auto-zone (estimated 2-3 days) . Any request on an update of the refund resulted in David victimizing himself and trying to validate him taking the money without showing up to do the work. Weeks have passed, it is now November 2nd with no response or refund from David. A major setback like a vehicle repair should not be combined with the stress of having an unreliable mechanic steal your money. It isn t right to make an innocent family suffer if you re in a bad situation. Thankfully I didn t pay the full amount upfront because that would have literally killed us. Instead we are left scrapping, making up the money David Laoretti stole from us. I have multiple screenshots of his promising a refund and then never sending it on the agreed date. I will delete this review if I get my refund but until then I m preparing to take this to small claims court to make things right. Already reported it to Venmo/PayPal.THE RESPONSE BELOW IS A BLATANT LIE. YOU KNOW THAT YOU STILL OWE ME MONEY DAVID. YOU ARE JUST LYING TO TRY AND SAVE FACE ONLINE. This gentleman did a great job changing the alternator on my 2014 Nissan Maxima. Being a mobile mechanic, he had extremely competitive pricing compared to brick and mortar shops, communication was fast, and he completed the work in the exact time he predicted. This gentleman has just earned a life long customer. I'll definitely approach him for future projects.

It was nice and easy that s what I saw when seeing David working on my Camry.David did a water pump replacement on a v6 Camry which if anyone knows about that engine, you will know that you need to basically remove the entire engine to reach the water pump, but what did Dave do??He removed the mounts from one side of the engine and jacked the engine at an angle to reach the pump.Don t know about you but that requires skill and patience to be able to do that type of job.But I am very grateful for the help and also being able on having someone that will go to you to work on the car.I Appreciate it very much David.

David called back right away. I wasn't expecting him to respond so quickly. He came over at 9pm, after finishing an earlier project.I pre-bought the parts I needed installed but due to an injury I was unable to make repairs to my car. I am a decent mechanic and finicky about repair work done to my car.David and I worked together on it, and he is a skilled operator.I will definitely call on him again, even after I am able bodied and capable of making these repairs myself.David has a mission to build his business, call him now before he goes prime time. He will be a success soon and need a better calendar.

David came out to replace a wheel bearing last night. He worked late to get it done.The nice thing about David is you don t have to sit at a repair shop for hours waiting for your car. He comes to you which is a huge plus.His prices are way cheaper than going to a shop.I would recommend using David for your mechanic needs, he is honest and not trying to make a killing of jobs.

I needed a new water pump, I messaged Laorretti's Mechanic Service and he gave me a quote that beat everyone else by $200. He drove from Los Angeles to Corona and had it done in couple hours. Great job highly recommend

Great work , great prices, about a year ago Mr. Laoretti took off My old bumper Ram pickup truck added a new off road bumper with skid plate I had purchased job well done came out clean looking ! Reached out to him again last week he came over and installed some wheel well fenders I had purchased for my Jeep Wrangler once again job came out sweet looking job well done . I will keep in touch with Mr.Laoretti for future work if needed !!!

Found on Craigslist and agreed initially on repairs and time. When it came down to appt time owner did not show up. Initially said no problem on time but text to confirm and owner never updated or texted. Then when called owner gave me attitude. Very unprofessional and doesn t follow thru with time commitments. You re the one who scheduled it and yet doesn t have any make any effort to care about the appt.

Probably the most clutch brake repair man that s mobile. Helped with my repair and was done quick. My car was pretty bad and Audis are difficult, he still managed to get the job done. I had my alternator done and I cannot say enough about the service!! The response time was great! Communication prior again great! David was good. No games no gimmicks just fast service....I am for sure going to recommend him to everyone I know...
