I used my new Watchdog last week for the first time while camping at Vail Lake and wanted to come back and say what an awesome and much needed devise this is. There is no better peace of mind knowing you are protected from unknown RV park surges. One of the best features about this is having all the electrical information at your fingertips even when not sitting outside at the electrical box. Not only does this thing look awesome but in my opinion, is the best surge protector on the market.

I've had my 50 amp Autoformer with surge protection for 2.5 years now. I use it constantly as the inside storage facility I store my RV in has low power much of the time. I've had 3 different internal components in my Autorformer go bad so far and each time Ian took very good care of me. I live in Palm Springs and Hughes is located in Anaheim so either I would ship it to them or take it in personally. This week was the most recent time I needed to have it looked at and when I arrived Ian promptly took the unit into their shop and checked it out and solved my problem. It's almost unheard of anymore to find a company that actually builds something in the United States and even more scarce to find a company that is so open and attentive to helping customers. I would highly recommend Hughes and their products to anyone that owns an RV.

I called Hughes at the number listed on their site, and after 1 1/2 rings had the opportunity of speaking with Ian. I inquired specifically about the Product Warranty / Support Information, and then delved into the technical details for their PWD30-EPO.The entire discussion was outstanding! Ian was highly knowledgeable and informed on the product, and even noticed some areas of interest before I had the opportunity to ask. With the objective data points he was able to share, an extremely competitive price and an elevated level of customer service experienced, Hughes has easily earned my business.

Bought my autoformer in 2006 & am still using it. It has saved my bacon many times. Today it's helping my buddy. If you travel and run into low voltage you need an autoformer.

Really smart product with better features than i've used in past. And the app is cool too. They are friendly on phone when i had questions.
