The staff at Y Tire were professional and courteous to me and my kids while they tested my battery and replaced it. If you're looking for quality and affordability then they're the folks you're looking for. While multiple other mechanics quoted me almost $400 just for labor without including the battery they did it for under that. They provide a comfy and welcoming atmosphere and waiting room. I look forward to coming here again. They also are great at being good community members which is what all businesses should strive to be.

I had a rather disappointing experience at this service center. Firstly, I had to wait for a staggering 1.5 hours just for an oil change and air filter. And no queue before me. Secondly, their recommendation was completely ludicrous and unprofessional. My work was completed on 10/02/2023 with an odometer reading of 182,043 miles. Yet, they suggested I should have had an oil exchange on 7/16/2021 or at 168,200 miles. How does that even make sense? To top it all off, they removed the old service data stickers from my car but failed to replace them with new ones.

My tire had an embedded nail and was leaking air. Y Tire & Auto Repair in Alhambra quickly patched up my tire so that I could safely be on my way again. Mike in customer service was very helpful in explaining the tire repair, and did not try to use high-pressure up-selling tricks. Definitely a worthy place to consider for tire repairs!Service: Tires

Unbelievable I waited almost an hour to get a patch on my tire they charge $20 . I only came because it's close to my house but I ain't coming back. They guys are too busy chatting around I been to different places and this is done in 10 minutes busy or not ..come on !!

When I brought my truck there, only thing wrong was a spark plug stripped. When I got it back, AFTER PAYING $500+, My ROM's kept skyrocketing and I had to give it gas to start. Never had those problems. Also none of my indicators worked after. Never had those problems either. Two days after my truck COMPLETELY gave out on the freeway while driving in the express lane. Be careful with this repair shop. Have suspension noise problems. After diagnostic- manager told me - we found cause noise- front left and right- control arm and strut assembly need change - estimation 1846$ - agreed to pay for repair. After repair asked manager- could you please show me old parts which was changed- he didn t find them - red flag- look strange - did repair and lost old parts straight after repair(wanted look what was broken). After couple days driving - completely nothings changed on suspension - same noise on uneven surface. Was busy. After a couple weeks came back with same problem - manager told me - found noise cause - need change more left and right rear shock absorbers and shock mounts - estimation 1693$. Found and ordered online original Motocraft shock absorbers and shock mounts for 715$ (they offered me parts for 1193$)- and did repair. Same suspension noise after repair. After - came back to them with same noise problem- diagnostic was wrong - manager told me - need pay 450$ for additional diagnostic. My money and patience ended. Double check with trusted mechanic your car after this repair guys and ALWAYS ask old parts after repair or better find more honest repair shop.

Thank you mike for your exceptional service! I can t speak highly enough for this shop. I was taken care of on the spot, and while I waited I enjoyed a movie, air conditioning, and a cup of fresh coffee. Definitely a nice break.I called around prior to coming in and Y Tire was by far the best prices. I wasn t pressured into making a decision on work that I already knew needed to get done and Mike was sooo patient with my questions and throughly answered everything that I was concerned about. No additional repairs were snuck in and no extra fees were added (me being female, that happens often)....I ve never been to a more honest place. This is definitely my go-to repair shop, I absolutely 100% recommend bringing your vehicle here.

This shop is really buttoned up. Costco, Just Tires, other large national tire companies all didn't have my tires in stock. All other shops in the area said it would take a couple of business days to stock them. These guys got em delivered same day within a few hours and gave sage advice on what's actually needed. I didn't feel like they were pushing anything on me--just looking out. Super knowledgable and affable. Will be driving out of the way if necessary to come through for future repairs/replacements.Much appreciated,Simon

They absolutely went above and beyond my expectation. Not only did they find the issue ( rear control arm and cam adjustment bolt)they offer a solution and fixed it! The place I went to before ( they are a chain) didn't even want to do anything when a found a slight issue with the rear control arm and offered no help afterward. This place is nice friendly,and extremely helpful! Glad i took the chance and I would highly recommend and they have a free shuttle service!

Went to get my oil changed this weekend. Did not expect to be verbally assaulted in the process.While the mechanic, Bart, was working on my car in the garage (which is directly accessible from the front of the building), I stopped by to ask if it would be alright if I watched and learned. He snaps back: "No man. Absolutely not." To which I respond: "Oh, but this is my car." He steps forward and snaps back once again, but even more aggressively: "HEY MAN. IF THIS WAS A MCDONALD'S WOULD YOU GO IN THE BACK AREA WHERE IT SAYS EMPLOYEES ONLY?" I took a step back and said: "Okay. You've made your point."This type of aggression is unacceptable. I understand it was wholly in Bart's right to not allow me to be in the workers' area, but there is no excuse for his aggressive conduct. I told Mike, the worker at the front desk, who did nothing to attempt to assuage the matter.This is sheer negligence in customer service. Do not recommend.Service: Oil change

Mike is a nice and honest guy. He helped me and did alignment in my car. Now my car drives smooth and no worries.He also threw some discount for me as a new customer and give me good package for an alignment, tire rotation and tire balancing.Highly recommended!

On 1/13/23, I brought my car to Y Tire Alhambra store to change the tires and got very upset about the attitude that Mr. Bert, a store employee, gave me. I was requesting Alan that I would like to keep the label which is affixed on the tire, Alan said it was ok to let me keep the label, but Bert, the big guy, told him to not give me. Bert then was approached to me and yelled at me you are too much . . I asked Alan to retighten to bolts for one of the tires to make sure it s secure. I told him I didn t feel comfortable and will lose my life if the bolts are loose. Bert stared at me saying we can t re-tighten the bolts . His nasty attitude made me very angry. Please investigate this incident, if you don t, I will report it to the Best Business Bureau, Consumer Bureau.

This is an update for 2020, Thank you to Mike and all the techs, master mechanics and employees. My S10 Extreme purrs like a kitten. This is the only place I will take both my cars period !!!Thank you...The front desk Mike, to the employee that looked at my car, to the master mechanic great job..."Great price and it was very expedient.Will definitely come back !

Very bad service over priced they wanted close to 1,ooo to fix my car your crazy replace rotors you guys replaced them you forgot !!!!! Do not take your cars there.

This place is wonderful to service vehicles. Omar is amazing, he is extremely helpful and caring person. So far, great experience here.

These guys are great! They get the work done fast and for the lowest price anywhere in the area. I had the engine light come on in my car so I brought it over to the Chryser Dodge Jeep Service Center in Glendale where they told me the error code was for the thermostat. They told me the diagnostic fee was going to be $150 once they look to confirm the problem and the cost of the replacement part alone would run about $400! What??? Hell no! I called about 5 different auto repair shops around the surrounding areas and the lowest cost I was quoted for replacing the engine thermostat part + labor was Y Tire & Auto Repair for just over $140 for everything. Much better than $400 for the part alone.I drove my car over there and they got the work done within couple of hours. Fast, easy and cheap. Can't beat that. I'll definitely be returning to the shop for any repair work I may need in the future.

Did my oil change here. Great price. Only like $25 if I remember correctly. Very nice guys, especially the owner. He didnt try to swindle me because I'm a woman so that was nice, right? They let me know I needed brakes pretty urgently and were willing to do them that same day within the hour and offered a discount. I didnt have time to do it then, but I have no doubt they would've gotten the job done. Price for brakes and labor wasnt too bad either!

I went on Monday because I had a air leaking out of one of my tires I thought that it could be patched, unfortunately it was a sidewall damage and you really can't patch it there, so the worker went and took my spare tire on my vehicle and they didn't want to charge me for it.I was very pleased to know that there are places like these , I am forever grateful to the young man and the supervisor at the store . Truly doing a great service, keep up the great service !!!!!!!

I took my '99 Suburban here for a new radiator and coolant reservoir. Mike worked with me on making the repair affordable. The job was done in a few hours. Jimmy drove me home to wait and picked me up when the job was done. Both guys were pleasant and helpful. I would recommend coming here. I will come back when I need more work done.

These guys are great. Pretty chill environment. Great prices, fantastic coffee (Keurig, although hate the waste ), and the waiting area is comfortable and clean. Glad I found them. Originally went to them based on Yelp reviews.

This place is cozy as you wait for sleigh to be pampered. You can watch TV, have coffee or buy a soda. You can enjoy your drink and TV on a comfy sofa! Or take a snooze on it after you make an attempt at reading/looking through one of many magazines. I've been here so many times before and always get treated like family. These guys need a tip barrel lol Love this shop! I work in L.A. and live in Upland and yes, I have driven there on a weekend from home just for their all around great service... with a smile

This place is still a joke! New management is worse, Bart is one of the counter people and he says that can't patch a tire. Didn't even try, a tire store with no patches? He was just lazy. I've lived in the neighborhood for over 50 years and have spent 10's of thousands of dollars there and I'll NEVER go back. I'm sure the owner in Temple City feels real good about that customer service. Mike was great.

Our experience at Y Tires was great. We're definitely recommending this place to all of our PTA parents at our kid's school. Our experience was a positive one, we are definitely returning to have more vehicle services done on our family car. Thanks, Y Tires!

Although I don t understand why I ve had my car Master Cylinder replaced four times now, the employees there are so nice. Dameon, Abraham and Allen are great! They re courteous, respectful and very helpful! Now that Demeon change their distributor company, I hope and pray that the problem is fixed.

Had a flat tire. Tire wasn't fixable because the damage was on the tire's side wall.They explained it the offered me a option to replace the tire with a used but good tire for very reasonable price.Didn't have to wait too long.

Great and friendly service as well as fast, all the workers there were help full and very detailed in explaining the issue I had with my vehicle. I would and will definitely be bringing my car back for more TLC because *Y tire auto repair* did an excellent job!

The guys at Y Tire were very friendly and helpfully. They answered all my questions and made me feel welcomed in their shop. I highly recommend them to anyone needing car service. I ll definitely be going back!

Good service, but $20.00 to patch a tire? Oil change is either done with cheap oil or extra expensive no middle synthetic blend option I found at other places. Still worth my business a solid 4 star for me.

I've been taking in my van here for years and the service is always great! The mechanics are very helpful (thank you Bart!) and the floor managers are cool to work with (thanks Anthony!).
