A good spot to enjoy both river and the beach since that s where both meet. Nice view and lots of parking. It s worth visiting if you re driving by Navarro. The downside is probably the lack of management. You don t know who the campers are or if the security is an issue if some unwelcoming people are around.

Lots of cars especially on the weekends driving in and out bring up a lot of the dust. The parking lot is altered and sand. Be careful with children also because sometimes the cars drive real fast looking at the beach not the road. This is also a no drone area.

Excellent beach and hit or miss camping experience. This beach has parking and an often over-used bathroom. Camping is also allowed in sites with no reservations. At times most of the camp sites seem occupied by long-term campers but we have also camped here and almost had the place to ourselves if not a weekend.

Our favorite beach when going to Mendocino. The abundant weathered Redwood driftwood on this beach is spectacular. Crashing waves, a river, clean sand and rocky outcrops... what else could you ask for!

Camping one night. Honestly a gorgeous area, though relatively expensive at $35 a night without water and only 2 or 3 porta potties. Each camping spot had a metal fire pit and a picnic bench, but each spot was right next to each other with no trees or anything. But, you do get to camp right there on the beach. Less than 10 First come/first serve spots for camping. Lots of parking for day use.

Nice coastal beach. Came here on a late Saturday afternoon and there was barely anyone. No shells or cool rocks though. Dog friendly!

Saw this place as climbing the ridge heading north. Wow! Turned around halfway up the grade and found a spot. No water except the waves (great to sleep to) and logs to do yoga on

Amazing beachside campground! You can pitch your tent and right where you park your car or rv. The beautiful Clearwater river that meets the very blue ocean, is just a few steps from your campsite! It is first come first serve self registration ($35 for overnight) so it can get crowded very early in the morning, and you should come prepared not to leave your spot unless you leave a tent or camper behind. There are several little stores and gas stations just a few minutes up the road. The redwoods are super close as well.this place is just absolutely breathtaking!!! I will definitely visit again!

Overall it's a beautiful beach, camping there is really nice. Aside from the only bathrooms being portapotties, it wasn't bad for a weekends stay

Convenient parking lot off the highway. Free to park. A few decently clean restrooms available. Beautiful beach to look at with large drift wood

The sea-level parking lot puts you on the beach the moment you exit your vehicle. Beautiful views, Northern California's coast at it's finest. An easy favorite.

Navarro Beach is a nice beach to spend the day with family. It is unique since a large river runs into the ocean next to the beach making for some interesting scenery.
