Went in for a brake inspection and possible replacement. After inspection, they told me that I had about 70-80% brake life left on each pad and didn't charge me anything even though I tried offering some tips for services. I was in and out of there in literally 15 minutes. They were extremely pleasant and honest about everything and my new go-to place for any future brake services when needed.In contrast, several other shops that I went to for an inspection gave me elusive answers and asked me to come at 7am to get a service or told me it would take 2-3 hours to get the brakes inspected.

Went by for a brake inspection and possible replacement. He was super nice from the get-go. Walked me around as he measured each brake pad and very quickly and honestly informed me that the brakes were still very good and that nothing needed to be done. He even gave me advice on my tires and rotated them for me when he put them back on. Definitely coming back here when my brakes eventually wear down. Thanks Assim

I had an excellent experience with Just Brakes and immediately upon leaving recommended them to a couple people. They were:- Fast. Work started at 10:15am and keys in hand by 10:45)- Transparent. He took me to the bay, showed me my brakes with the tires taken off, explained the necessary work on the front brakes, and advised on when to get the back brakes addressed- Affordable. Pricing was manageable and I was charged exactly what I was quoted. He even gave me some advice on a non-brake repair that I also need.PLEASE GO HERE!Service: Brakes

Not many people are honest like the guy who helped me today, so hopefully you choose just brakes. The check brake fluid light came on my BMW X2 so I bought EBC pads and took them here. The owner inspected my brakes and rotors and said they didn't need replacement for a while. Then he opened the hood, tested the brake fluid, said it was fine, reset the service light and told me it was free of charge.He saved me over $700, so the least I can do is leave him a good review and hopefully the good karma comes back his way. When I actually need new brakes, this will be the first and only place I call.

very kind and easy to schedule an appointment. didn't end up needing brakes at the moment but will 100% be back when i do. asim reversed my car for me so i wouldnt have to back out myself.

Excellent customer service. My local dealership told me I would need expensive work related to my brakes. This shop went through the recommendations with me line by line and assessed the car with me to review what actually needed to be done vs not. Did not try to upsell me, saved me a ton of money. Good, honest work, highly recommend!

This review is of my interaction with the guy not his work. This is a one man shop with one lift. Don't let the pictures fool you. I asked for the free inspection. He just touched the rotors and told me I needed new rotors and pads and gave me a quote. I went to a different shop for a second opinion. They actually pulled my wheels and gave me measurements of my pads and rotors (for free). However they wouldn't have the parts in stock for a while so I decided to go back to Just Brakes. He said he would order the parts, that they would come in next day, he would text me to confirm receipt, and we scheduled an appt in 2 days. Two days go by and no text, so I call 15mins before my appt to confirm he had the parts. He gets angry saying he never said he would text and that he had the parts in stock. I'm taken a back because he couldn't even remember our conversation. And why would we schedule the appt 2 days out if he had the parts? He wasn't busy so I would've just had them done right away-- it's like a 45mins job. He also kept saying he hated when customers had complaints and I should've just left then. Anyways I cancelled and went back to the second shop, a large company, and paid $30 more. I'm happy I went with another shop because their customer service was great and they warranty their work for a year. This guy probably does good work, but his customer service was terrible.

I really like this guy and I really like his honesty he let me come to see each of my breaks and break down information and find out I never needed a brake job just cleaning and this is what I like about him very honest and his name is awesome you really wear this name very well very honest person I like this place I will recommend all of my friends and family and get there and break inspection here

One of the few that make you feel they are being honest. Thought I needed front brakes replaced but when I came to pickup my car was told the front brakes were fine, but rear brakes needed replacement and because they were still under warranty from last time, the parts were free, just charged labor about $110. Pretty sure the Nissan dealership would have replaced the front brakes that didn t need it and charge me $350

Fantastic. It's just one guy who is very nice and will show you everything on your car, in detail, with a clear explanation of what is needed. Also won't try and talk you into a rotor replacement if it's not really needed. It also only took 45 minutes in total. Highly recommend!

1045am, with obligation at 1:30 Brakes pads weren t in stock anywhere for 2018 atlas.. After a couple calls he says I got two. How far 10 minutes locked up, left. And back in ten minutes. Did a spotless job in his spotless garage. Was out by noon. Shot hoops while I waited, which wasn t long, not to mention the job he pushed back to get me, a new customer out on time when promised was awesome. You can tell quickly when you meet a great mechanic I hope you are around a long time. Great job! I will return from Marin for any brake issues. Cheers and thanks again.DinoService: Brakes

Fast, friendly and well priced service! They charged me roughly $500 to replace front pads and calipers on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee. I dropped it off and came back an hour and a half later and it was done.

Great and fast service. Showed us what needed to be changed and very transparent on what will be done. In and out in about 40 minutes! Need brakes changed best place to go is here!

So far so good. One man shop doing one car at a time, so each customer has full attention during your appointment. Owner is a super nice dude.Price seems to be about market value for the area. It s nice to go somewhere so time efficient and is a speciality for this type or service

I received immediate attention. The service was excellent. His knowledge and personal concern for my issues far exceeded any other service I received in the past. I recommend Just Brakes to anyone who wants a honest, knowledgeable person to help them with all their brake issues. I only wish he could expand his service to help me with all my mechanical issues...

I highly recommend this business. As a woman I'm constantly on guard for predatory behaviors . It has been my experience in reg women don't know a thing or two I was pleasantly surprised when I went in they inspected the car in front of me showed me that I actually didn't need new brake shoes and sent me on my way . Nice clean shop well organized. I felt very very comfortable and very good there.

I needed new rear brakes from my mechanic but he quoted me $400! Also,needed 4 tires as well...I trust my mechanic & saw the brakes/tires.. I can't believe I was driving my car w cracked tires lol. Anyhoo...I was calling around for brake estimates but JUST BRAKES has such fantastic reviews by females and other customers that I felt comfortable and txt him about a quate and he is so well priced & fair! I will see the shop today around 11:00am.I will update my review but I have a great feeling my brakes will turn out fine and not so heavy out of my pocket Update : 5/28/22Came back & got my rear brake fixed and he did a fantastic job, quit & well priced. Really cool guy. He's fast and friendly and prices are reasonable. 20mins and rear brakes were done. I definitely recommend you bring your car here for a brake job. You won't be disappointed.

The service here was great and fast. The gentleman at the front desk made it seamless and before I knew it my front brakes we replaced and I was gone. An honest mechanic! We had our brakes checked to make sure they were ok to make a long road trip. He put the car on the rack and checked them out. We were told they were good to go and no repairs needed. We weren t sold any unnecessary repair job! This is the place to go!

I had seen a brake shop as I was getting gas. I walked over and asked the gentleman how long it would take to do my brakes, and he said he could get me in and out of the shop in under an hour. He took my car in, and replaced brakes and rotors. He showed my old brake pads and told me to not drive it this long when I hear my brakes squeaking. He was right about getting it done in under an hour. I was impressed with the service, his communication skills about his job was nice. I don't know much about cars, but he did explain to me the benefits of having worn out pads and the importance of having good brakes, especially if you're living in the bay area with all the hills we drive through. Definitely would suggest others to get their brakes and/or rotors done from here. Quick, easy, not overpriced, and will not take up the whole day. He does take appts, and would suggest you make an appt, but walk-ins are available and he doesn't take long at all. Asim (which is his name!) experience!Service: Brakes
