My car was sideswiped by another driver on the highway. The impact affected the entire left side, resulting in a broken mirror, front bumper, a dent, and numerous paint scratches. Unsatisfied with the other driver's insurance estimate, I took my car to Continental Auto Body and shared my frustrations. Jose and the staff were amazing. They managed the entire dispute with the insurance company, reminded me to secure a rental car, kept me updated throughout the process, and performed excellent repairs. They replaced all the broken parts and expertly matched the paint. The car now shows no signs of the collision. They even included a complimentary car wash, and Jose replaced a broken headlight not related to the collision for free. I highly recommend them for their outstanding service and skill.

First, Jose and the entire team at Continental Auto Body are amazing. They listen to customers concerns, are kind, courteous, patient, and professional.It is highly recommended anyone searching for an auto body shop to perform the highest quality of body or paint or both kinds of work, to get their vehicle handled by Jose and the team at Continental Auto Body in Albany California.Jose and the team will work with your finances, if paying out of pocket and will assist with dealing with the hassles of the insurance companies.My Torred colored Dodge Challenger was damaged in a t-bone accident, in which I was not at fault. The other driver had the same insurance [bad news from the start].Living in Marin county I did not know about Jose and the team at Continental Auto. I wish I did. I took my vehicle to Marin Collision Center, located in Larkspur, CA [never take your vehicle to this place].Upon completion of the work by Marin Collision Center, I noted minor discrepancies, however the vehicle looked nice overall. One of the discrepancies was that of a section of the clear bra being left on and the hood line was not quite flush to the body. There exist a 90 day period where the fresh paint must cure before the vehicle can be washed or have any special detailing performedDuring the curing process, the place where the clear film was left on had become cracked and I first assumed it was the paint under the clear film that was damaged.I took the vehicle to JJ s detail in Richmond CA. They noted discrepancies where the instillation for the clear bra to be installed were located. They explained the blemishes and said it was best not to place the bra on the vehicle until the blemishes were corrected.Search for help, I was directed to Jose at Continental Auto Body. I took my vehicle to him and let him inspect it. He was able to tell me about the overspray on my vehicle and why the paint all of a sudden looked dull and the repairs performed by Marin Collision Center were noticeably visible, making a new car look old and beat up. Jose walked me through each flaw of the vehicle left behind by Marin Collision Center.The insurance company instructed me to take the vehicle back to Marin Collision Center to ask them to correct the poor work performed. Of course, Marin Collision Center denied fault and the insurance assisted in backing their assertion of not being at fault.Unfortunately, I was involved in a hit in run while the vehicle was parked that cracked the front end and damaged the bezel and other things. I had to put in a claim so I took the vehicle to Continental Auto Body to let Jose and his team handle my repairs and I am more than happy and satisfied with the work they produced to make my car look like the day I brought it, minus the bra. In 90 days or so, I will have it installed, as the vehicle remains covered and in a safe garaged location.Jose and his team went the extra mile and did things they were not paid for and made the insurance pay for materials needed that the insurance thought otherwise. When I went to pick up the BABY, she was her gorgeous self again. Jose corrected the paint that Marin Collision Center denied being at fault for, straightened the hood, got rid of every blemish, front, back, top, sides, and bottom. Jose and the team even assisted me with securing and returning the rental car I used waiting for the completion of the repairs.Upon picking the vehicle up, I noticed the works performed on other makes and models and Jose and the team know exactly what they are doing and use expert care in the repairs of any vehicle. I was more than happy and satisfied with the work.Jose loves his work and making vehicles look the absolute best, HANDS DOWN!!! Jose and the team take great pride and uphold high standards of quality of work. If I ever need bod, paint or both, Jose and the team at Continental Auto will have my vehicle going forward.Continental Auto Body in Albany, CA has the highest quality of workmanship and professionalism uncommon in today societal atmosphere.#110%Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Well I have a 2020 mercedes benz. I had previously had a mobile company car body lab come out and repair a scratch that was threw the clear and the base coat.and the clear yellowed out.. I called Jose and the team got my car inn and out looking fresh as I bought it.. thanks.. this is the second vechile the have repaired and painted.

Jose runs an incredible shop. Everyone from the front desk (Jessika) to the staff in the garage are top notch. I was in a very stressful situation dealing with the insurance company of the driver that hit my car. Jessika took everything over and handled my situation with great care. I felt super confident the entire time. Jose and his team went well beyond what was expected in regards to fixing my car. I have been going to this shop for years, and I ve referred numerous friends to this shop. This shop is a gem, and Jose is as close to an angel as a human can possibly get. He s is unbelievably kind, patient, respectful, helpful, knowledgeable, professional, even-tempered, and above all honest and he stands by his work. If it was possible to give this shop more than five stars, I d do it without hesitation.Service: Painting

The people I spoke with at the shop were helpful, responsive and kind. They helped walk me through the insurance process - I had never had to use my insurance before. The work they did was beautiful and fast. I was rear-ended by a hit and run driver and the bumper was replaced, a little body work to the tailgate and rear of the car and it was good as new. I would highly recommend this shop!

Took my weathered hood scoop for my STi in yesterday and Jose had it back to me today. Very friendly and knowledgeable, fair price and great color match. I would highly recommend this shop and would go back for any bodywork in the future. Thank you guys!

Took my 2016 Ford Mustang there they did great work could not tell the car had been rear ended . I ve taken all my cars there ( never my fault ) just got bad luck and bad drivers around me . Anyways if you want your car to look like nothing ever happened this is the place to take it. Ask for Jose !

I compared the three top body shop companies in the East Bay, Continental was one of the three. After visiting each one and speaking with the owners and assessing their shops, I chose Continental for the repairs of my BMW. Jose cares about people, he is passionate about his work and his standards are unmatched.

Jose is great and they do an excellent job~! You will not be able to tell when the damage started and ended. I am very weary of any auto place. They stand by their work.

I smooshed my side panel against one of the posts in the Berkeley Trader Joe's parking lot. Continental did the fix so it looked like new! I highly recommend them.

Highly recommended by our regular mechanic, Continental Auto Body lived up to its billing.Owner Jose Carrillo is polite, patient and fully engaged from initial quote to final delivery.Communication is reliable as well as trustworthy, with Denise and the rest of the wonderful CAB team gracious and attentive to all customer concerns.Equally important, Continental Auto Body delivers high quality workmanship with damage to our hood, bumper, grille and radiator expertly repaired and accented by a courtesy wash & wax.Reputable shops such as this one are quite rare, so it's definitely a Bay Area gem and one we highly recommend for any auto body work!
