I went to a car dealership since forever. April 6, 2024 Rodrigo approached. He was so nice and kind. Answered every single question with respect. Never EVER pushing for a sale. His demeanor was extraordinary. We moved around the office and EVERYONE was really kind. Then we met the sales manager. So nice.We met the receptionist and she was a doll. Don, the finance guy, was delightful and took great care of us. I really can t say enough about Rodrigo. I came with a list of safety features I needed. He connects with his clients. He took great care of my car needs. If you are looking to have a terrific car buying experience, go to Albany Subaru. Bravo Albany Subaru. Kudos to you! Here s my baby. She even has a cute caboose!

Always a 5 rating whenever I pull up for the scheduled service for our Crosstrek. The staff is very friendly and helpful knowledgeable all about Subaru as should be. The lounge is one of the best in the east bay, and the restrooms are close by not towards the back of building but just within the lounge. Car services are great thumbs up 5 all the way!

The people at Albany were amazing. From the time I spoke with them on the phone until I drove away with my newly leased Outback I felt heard and welcomed. They were positive in a way that didn't feel patronizing and really went out of their way to make sure any of my concerns were addressed. Amazing experience.

Jan and Harris, even the whole dang team were freaking PHENOMENAL! I couldn t be happier and would recommend this dealership to anyone! Drove 4 hours from out of town to get the car of my dreams and drove off in my new Alfa Romeo! Thank you to everyone there!!

The team at the service center were amazing. Tory is so thorough and wonderful. Aaron is very nice. The technician who moved my toddler s car seat out of my car was so kind. James is one of the most considerate, thoughtful, supportive people I ve ever met; like genuinely committed to helping you with what you need. If you get James as your rep then consider yourself very lucky. You ll be in great hands.Everyone I interacted with was so helpful and kind. I ve been to other Subaru service centers before, and I can say these guys are truly different.They re genuine.

Amazing professional welcoming. I felt like my opinions and desires were respected. All of my questions about the entire process were throughly and efficiently explained. There was no hold up in the process, no stalling at all. Working with Dale Phipps and Don Huey was nothing short of phenomenal. Polite, genuine and intelligent folks.

Best experience buying a car! Jan in sales is kind, honest, makes you feel like you re family. And La Po in finance ensures you are getting the best rate. My hour plus drive was so worth it. Got the car I wanted, but even if I didn t, I m so glad to have met them.

I came to this dealership after having a horrible experience with my last car purchases. I was beyond pleasantly surprised here. Ricky was wonderful & not the typical salesman that I ve experience. He listened to me and help me fill my need without being pushy. This was the best car buying experience I ve ever had! I highly recommend it! I m so happy about my car upgrade!!! It is exactly what I was looking for.

The Albany Subaru repair shop is extremely well run, clean, and thorough. I arrived at 9:30am and was expected to have an Express maintenance service, which generally gets me out in an hour. Tori had explained all the maintenance that would be included and we went over pricing. Then she told me I could pick up the car at 4 o clock which really surprised me. I asked her if she could please try to get me out within the hour because I didn t have any way of getting home. And she totally came through for me.thanks Torii.

Everyone was so polite and professional! They said it would take 90 minutes and it only took and hour, which was a nice surprise. The person that helped me was Alan, and he was very kind and walked me through everything with great detail and answered all of my questions. I didn t get the names of the people who serviced my car, but from what I saw they did an amazing job too! All around a 10/10 experience and don t think I ll be taking my car anywhere else!

Stellar service! I don t usually write reviews, but our experience at Albany Subaru was so good that I have to share it.We bought a used Forester from them and the entire process was great. Ricky didn t try to upsell us, pressure us or play any of those other games that dealers often do. We felt that he listened to our needs and genuinely wanted to meet them.Lepon handled the financial part of the purchase. Like Ricky, he was friendly anddidn t pressure us. I didn t have that Am I getting rooked? feeling as I signed the check.Both Ricky and Mike, the GM, assured us that we can contact them with any questions or concerns. We reached out to them today and true to their word, they were accessible and helped us right away.I ve bought a number of cars over the years and this was far and away the best experience at a dealership I ve ever had. We were treated very well from the time we walked in to the time we drove out and will definitely buy our next car from them.Olga P

My purchase experience was absolutely the best! From arrival to test drive to financing each step felt thoughtful and incredibly supportive. I had a lot of questions, being this was my first Subaru, the staff was super knowledgeable and even gave me some great info for future ownership! I will absolutely be coming back in the future :)

This is the sixth Subaru that I have leased with an Albany Subaru. I love this car and IThis is the sixth Subaru that I have leased with an Albany Subaru. I love this car and I love working with everyone at Albany Subaru especially Don Meyers. They are efficient, courteous, personal, and professional. I cannot imagine, going anywhere else, or trusting any other business then Albany Subaru.

They take such good care of my car and are so considerate to me. My service advisor Torii Cisneros went out of her way to help me, explained how to use a feature I was confused about and saved me a huge amount of money by offering to have the dealership cover the cost of a repair.The dealership was fantastic to work with when I bought my Subaru Forester and have been there when I ve needed ever since, keeping my 2018 as good as new.I can t say enough good things about them they are honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable, responsive, expert and kind and considerate in all things.

Yet another great experience. We recently purchased a used vehicle from Albany Subaru. This is the second time we ve done business with them in 12 years and the experience was just as good as the first time. We worked with Ricky, he was thorough in showing us the vehicles features. Hopefully Subaru will offer more EVs soon, this will increase the chances of us going back again.

Ricky Riise and the team at Albany Subaru made my vehicle buying experience the best. I had been researching a vehicle for a while. I sent in an alert. 10 mins later they contacted. I sent over my info, let me know the next day with a good deal. I was out of the dealer in less than an hr and 1/2 including the test drive. Super professional and cordial. Highly recommended.

I've reached out to a few dealerships and Albany Subaru gave the BEST deal. Mike was able to give me the best APR that I could get approved for and beat an offer from a nearby dealership. Mike is straight forward and doesn't beat around the bush with sneaky dealer add-ons or fees. They had the car I wanted in stock, came in and was guided through by Dom, signed paperworks with Don and left the dealership!I didn't notice this until I came home but the dealership had protective film on the door handles and edges that came complimentary instead of charging me dealer add-ons.Highly recommend this place!

Background:I bought my car new from Albany Ford Subaru in 2015. I ve gotten every service for it from oil change to major alignment and new tires at Albany Ford Subaru s Service department for almost 10 years.Positives:I trust they do a good, quality job. Fast. Complimentary rental car if needed. Nice waiting area.Negatives:I have loved going here to get service for almost ten years and have always been willing to pay a bit more. Sadly, this last service appointment was a really negative experience and I feel like they majorly changed how they do things. I don t plan on coming back in the future and am going to do all future service appointments elsewhere.I just wanted to get a simple oil change/tire rotation, which I ve gotten many times here. Usually it s very straightforward, the cost is transparent, and they give a complimentary tire rotation and multipoint inspection with oil change.This is no longer the case. Just the oil change alone is now significantly much more expensive than how much all three used to be last time I went. I get it, inflation. But they also tried to aggressively upsell me and in a very confusing way with lots of complicated extras and add-ons, which they never used to do with me.For something that usually cost me a bit over $100 they were trying to get me to pay $425+ for all this other stuff he said would be really good for me to get.I used to come here for peace of mind and to not have to deal with the above type of experience I described (because you leave feeling like you re not taking good care of your car by not buying all the extra stuff and can t tell if you actually really need it). Really sad they changed how they do things and adopted this tactic.I was a very loyal customer for almost ten years and always defended it costing a little more but now this just feels like I m being blatantly taken advantage of as a loyal, longtime customer. Time to find an alternative : (.
