I went in today for brakes on my Mustang. They were very accommodating and super nice. German is awesome. Being a female, it's hard to find an automotive place that isn't intimidating. German always makes me feel comfortable, I'm grateful to find someone I can trust.

Unpleasant car service experience: Delayed spare parts the fact that I made a schedule, unwelcoming front desk, staff communication issues. Doubtful about returning m vet disappointed. Well as far as my knowledge a manager is the last person supposed to hear about my complaints but he was the first unwelcoming front desk and gave me the worst service.

I was sent here by Amazon to have my tire installation. I got an appointment at 9 am and was pretty much the only customer at that time. They recommended I do an alignment as well as I was putting on 4 new tires and there had been some uneven wear on my old ones. Unfortunately on of my tire pressure sensors was broken while changing the tire. This resulted in two unfortunate issues. 1. The time estimate for completing the two tasks was not met and I couldn t wait any longer as I had to pick up my kids at noon, so I had to come back another day for the alignment. 2. They didn t have the part to replace the sensor so I had to come back to have them install that anyway. The staff was very kind and helpful and they got it all done. I gave 4 stars instead of five due to the inconvenience of having to come back two days, and the broken sensor. They paid for the new sensor, no questions asked, so I thought that showed they are honest folks for sure. Overall, very happy with my experience there.

Drove 353 miles up to Alameda for work in my new car, hit a bay-area pot hole, and destroyed my tire. The employees at Tire Choice were amazing! They got me a new tire overnight (I have a unique size) and had it replaced within an hour the next day. They were super friendly and helpful and ensured I got back home safely by replacing my tire and ensuring my other tires had the proper pressure. While I hope I never have a tire emergency when traveling for work again, if I do, I know where I'm taking my car!

Getting your oil changed and a tire repaired is not something I look forward to doing. That said, I went to Tire Choice in Alameda today and I was delighted with the service that German Navarro and team provided. He anticipated my every question and was very clear on the amount of time I should expect to wait. He made sure I had the wifi password so that I could work in their lobby. I paid the price he gave me on the quote and then drove away with no alerts on my dashboard. Happy Customer!

Steve was very helpful the day I stopped by near closing hours and agreed to me dropping my tire off for repair with no hesitation! They were able to repair and swap my tires the next day! I was able enjoy my weekend! Mahalos to Steve and the crew for the prompt service!

I wanted to try a different garage/mechanic and came upon this place. The guy I spoke with was Keagen. This guy has excellent customer service rep skills and doesn't bs you. I brought my car here for a flat tire. He had to order me a new tire which didn't arrive until super late. He still made the effort to make sure that him and his team finished the job before they closed. The next day I brought it back for a slow leak in a different tire. Both times I was treated with kindness and respect and that's really all I can ask for. If you're having car problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems (jk) consider checking this place out

Outstanding tire and engine shop. Dropped my car off at 8AM and had it back by 12:30PM. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I am extremely happy with my tires, and my car handles just like it did when it was new. Will definitely use this business again if I ever need tires or alignment work done. Definite 5 star service.

Very happy with the service at Tire Choice. I had tires delivered to this store. They aligned and installed the tires. The front desk staff were very courteous and helpful...especially Steve.

I walked in with a screw in my tire. They had me in, the tire replaced, paid, and out the door in under an hour. I worked with Steve and he was great, and the price was very competitive.This is my second time in the shop, and based on my first experience, I wouldn t recommend it. The only reason I gave this place a second chance was that they are one of the only shops open in the area on Sundays. During my first experience, I found myself watching a Fighting match between a customer and an employee over the agreed-upon price. When it escalated to physical violence threats, I unfortunately had to take my car somewhere else. that was obviously not a great experience, so I was not eager to go back, but after my experience with Steve today, I would definitely recommend this shop. I m hoping that the previous employee engaging in the fighting was just having an off day.

I had a slow leak in one tire. The experience was great and very professional. The agent gave an estimate on price and said it would be about an hour and 15 min. It was done in 45 min and price was exact. Service was friendly. I am very pleased and would highly recommend.

I ve been here twice to have matte black aftermarket wheels put in my Tacoma in the past two years. Both times they got the job done quickly and without damaging the wheels (which is no easy task with matte black). Highly recommend this tire shop!

When I first got tires there they got me in and out within a couple hours and our tires had a warranty and roadside coverage, a couple months later we got a screw in one of the tires and needed it patched. Me and my wife went back and forth to their shop and they wanted us to leave the car there all day to patch the tire , a 20 minute job. I finally had word s with the guy who was in charge on a Sunday and finally gave up . I even showed up to the shop before they even opened and they opened up about 45 minutes after they were supposed to be open. I finally went to another shop and paid to get the tire fixed and they had me in and out in about 20 minutes. If you have a warranty on your tires and need them repaired this is not the shop, I m pretty sure they we re giving us the runaround because they weren t going to make any money from the repair and just kept putting us on the back burner. The are very unprofessional compared to the other shops we have been to.We are going to tire pros next time .

I am disappointed that I have to leave this review because I kept on getting great service in the past. Unfortunately, one single employee named Andy that was the customer facing employee ruined it all.Went there because my tire appeared to have a slow leak. Andy said they are closing an hour for lunch and they are busy so he took my car and warned me it will be more than an hour before they can work on my car. I said thanks for the heads up and I went to get lunch myself. Returned to the store after the said hour and Andy seemed busy so I just waited in the lobby until he had a chance to get caught up and was ready to help me. He seemed extremely frustrated to see me for some reason and was very short with me. A while later, he called me to the counter and asked why my plates weren t in the system so I gave him my phone number which he found. He then realized I was a different customer he thought he was helping and said my car needs a new tire. Without really explaining anything, he said it will be $470 for the one tire and it will be ready tomorrow. No explanation of alternative options, reasons why and such. He then walks away. I asked him can you please walk me through this and he walked away cursing. So I asked the nice guys actually working on the car to put my tire back on the car and give me my keys as I will go elsewhere.Went to Big O Tires and got the exact replacement from a super helpful and friendly staff for $286 same day.

We brought our vehicle to fill up the tires since one was looking a bit flat. An employee directed me on where to pull up and quickly refilled the tires. He was professional and courteous and didn't charge us for the tire fill-ups. He also told me that the treads on the tires are still good, but we would eventually need new tires soon. Good experience here.I checked the tire caps and had to hand tighten 3 of the 4 caps.

Tire Choice is my #1 Choice as a Bay Area local, and I will come back here every time! Ask for David, he is the best! He is amazing and makes the process really smooth. He goes above and beyond for his customers and tries to help as much as possible. You will find the most reliable service from this store and they know they re stuff.The mechanics are loyal, well experienced, and will make sure to get the job done right for you.Tire Choice in Marina Village is very community based and is the go to for the best trustworthy people with your car. They provided excellent communication to me as I was living out of town, I knew my car couldn t be in any better hands.These are hard working people, and you will be in the best hands knowing they will make sure to honestly and thoroughly assess your car, and provide you with the most affordable cost. David went above and beyond to take care of me.Everyone there is friendly, and It was even cooler that my mechanic took me into part of the process to see the work underneath my car!Tire Choice took care of all my heavy duty needed work, and my car has since been running in perfect condition.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Had a piece of something in my tire and they had it out and the tire patched in half an hour. I'm running pretty wide tires on wide rims and they can be a handful to remove and replace tire. No problem for these guys. Highly recommend. They do other work too and I'll have more stuff done and update my review about other services. Oh, it is in a small mall with restaurants etc. So u can get a bite or go to Luckys for groceries.

I came in 02/13/24 and explained the issue I was having with my car to German I hit a big pot hole coming out the Posey Tube and bent my rim which then started a hissing noise at that moment I knew I messed up. I wasn t able to fix it that day due to work and, having to get my kids from school. I came in again on the following Friday and, was able to get the issue resolved thanks to German he helped me and was very kind and very quick. I am very pleased with the outcome now I can drive safely with my kids and I in the car. I got a wheel alignment and got my rim fixed.

Useless and inconsistent managers. I bought a set of tires here a year and half ago. They sold me "Road Hazard Coverage" without my knowledge. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed it on the receipt. Fast forward to today and I got a flat tire over the weekend. Had the tow truck drop it off at Tire Choice. The tow truck operator asked to borrow a jack to assist with getting the car of the truck and the managers just stared at him.Tire was a total loss. Today they quoted me 160 dollars for the tire and a seven day wait (it's a 100 dollar tire with a 24 hr wait at literally every other tire shop). I did my research about the road hazard coverage that they sold me a year and a half ago and found out that it covered 50% of the cost of a replacement tire. The manager didn't bother to include that discount until I brought it up. He probably didn't want to file the paperwork.I was so fed up that they could not help me get to four matching tires with a reasonable time frame that I brought one of my winter tires. I asked them to mount it and we could "call it a day". The manager told me they could not install any customer provided parts at all.A tire shop that refuses to mount a tire, unreal.I had to argue to get my keys back. They literally would not give me my keys back until the 5th time I asked. I proceeded to do the work in the parking lot next door of removing the wheel. I went to a real tire shop and got my winter tire mounted, brought it back to my car and installed it.After going to this tire shop and giving them the benefit of the doubt for several years, I would not recommend this place to anyone.They really do not care about customers at all when it comes to their core business of car tires.

Went in the morning of 3/30/24 to have tires installed and was disappointed with the customer service. The awful attitude of the counter staff was unacceptable and performance was substandard. Proper training should be provided for employees. Ultimately decided to take my business elsewhere as a result.

Don t normally give out 1 star reviews but here s one:Want to request a price adjustment or some refund back, I feel I was charged unfairly. Manager who worked last Friday charged me $190 for labor for check engine light just to see what the problem is, I called other tire choice locations after and they also agreed that 190 is way too much for labor just to check what the problem is. His customer service was really below average as well, felt like I was in a dealership and did not give any good customer service vibes. Never coming back again, the manager who managed here a year ago was way better. Last Friday really made my car service a terrible experience.

They told me to check my warranty. I mean that place is alright. I ve gotten service there a few times it s definitely quality. For some reason the website allows you to schedule service for parts that aren t immediately in stock which can be a big waste of time when you really need to get your tire fixed. They offered the pricing they had available, but ultimately I found service with other shops in the area faster because they can get a little busy even on weekends and weekdays.
