Absolutely the best car repair place in the Bay and for sure the best on the island. Our car door handle got vandalized and we got it fixed here very quickly for a great price. The entire staff is very professional and super knowledgeable. We ve tried every car repair place in Alameda, and the Mercedes dealership in Oakland. This is the best choice. Recommended!

I've been going to them since 2020 to do oil change for my Benz. Always found the price to be fair and never had an issue with my car after a service A or service B.However, the recent service B job I found to be dishonest. The price ended up to be ~880 dollars including brake fluid change. As a result, I will going somewhere else for future car services.

These guys are great. Came to get a second opinion after the dealership wanted to charge me $15,000 for a bunch of unnecessary repairs. Dropped my car off in the morning and received a call from Ali by noon saying it only needed $1,600 in additional repairs. A few hours later I received another call telling me my vehicle was ready! What s more, my vehicle came back shiny and clean inside and out. Will definitely be bringing my car here from now on!

I purchased a 6 year old Maserati Granturismo in 2019. While people are generally terrified of things going wrong with Maseratis, these cars are generally pretty reliable. However, with dealerships and Maserati specialists in the Bay Area, routine services can be crazy expensive. I talked to Ali a couple times about the initial maintenance I needed to do and he seemed very knowledgeable. He did a major service at a very good price and gave me terrific feedback on the state of the car - I was very satisfied.Strangely, you can run into problems with this car if you don't drive them enough so, one summer when I didn't drive it for a couple weeks, I started smelling smoke from the engine compartment. Ali diagnosed this and, again at a very competitive cost, repaired both leaky valve cover gaskets.I wholeheartedly recommend Ali and his team there to take care of you exotic car, even if it isn't German...

I went in with a bad headlamp... The amazing mechanic disassembled the part to fix it, instead of having me buy the expensive replacement.... he did it all in a moments notice and for free. I expected to pay for it and for at least an hour of service. It was really warming to be treated so well, especially considering all that s going on with the world right now.Impeccable service!!!!! I ve found my permanent mechanic. I have an E60 chassis BMW.

I ve had our 2011 X5 repaired here twice and have been happy with the service. The owner really do care about his clients. I took my car in for a check engine light. He was very helpful. Long story short, he found out the check engine light is actually going to cost me more than $4000 to fix it so instead of charging me $500 for the checkup, he only charged me $246. That little gesture was really appreciated. Thanks.

Great experienceSomeone who actually cares about the customer.Called looking for some information on an older vehicle I'm restoring myself because the BMW dealerships just don't have this type of experience with older vehicles like the E36. Robbie called me back 3 times after our first call with more information regardless if he was going to earn any money or not. Keep doing your thing Robbie.Thanks

I have been taking my cars to German Auto for years. Even my non-German cars. Their work is beyond reproach. They are honest and skilled and incredibly patient. They take the time to diagnose an issue fully rather than just throwing parts at a problem. The best.

Great auto shop. Finished work faster than they anticipated. Fair prices.They took time to answer my questions and give feedback about the condition of the engine. They even took time to show the parts they replaced.

German Auto Service in Alameda are honest people. I bring my Benz to this shop for service and they treat me like what customer should be treated. 2 days ago my key wont work. Technician Tyler help me and Jim. They are awesome!!! Ty

I recently purchased a used BMW X5. After a short period of time I discovered that there was an oil leak. It turned out to the leak was very hard to find. Chris and Ali were persistent in finding the leak, worked with me on my schedule, provided courtesy drop off to my office when I left the car at the shop. They were always responsive to my phone calls and took time to explain the situation at every step of the way.I would thoroughly recommend German Auto service to anyone with a BMW.

German Auto Service maintains my Mercedes SL55 AMG, my SLK and my BMW convertible. Chris and his team are professional right down to customer interaction and the layout of the shop...you could eat off the floors. When they quote a price, that's it. When they diagnose a problem, it's clear they have their customer in mind first. I've been in the shop and have watched countless customers walk out the door, happy with their service excellence. Came in with a check engine light came out with a complete diagnosis highlighting my problems. Didn t pressure me, just informed me of the issue and how I could go about it. Very friendly and trustworthy

They did a basic maintenance. The car is running just fine and to prove this I went on a 200 mile run from Alameda to halfmoon bay down to Santa Cruz and back to Alameda.
