As this place got good reviews and my regular mechanic does not do transmission work I brought my car here. Terrible experience. First I got no written estimate but that's not the problem. After bringing my car back 3 times , as it still had a leak I went to my mechanic to check it out. The bolts on the transmission were all loose. When I went back the 3rd time the owner said he would call me and bring my car in and leave it there. He never called . I also asked for a copy of my receipt as I couldn't find the original one. He didn't want to bother looking for it but said he would email it to me . He never did. I went back again 4th time . The owner wasn't there but the guys who were there were very nice and found it in a few minutes. Owner acts like he really cares but he doesn't. As I don't live in Alameda anymore but in Lafayette leaving my car there for 2 days and paying to rent a car was not an option .. Still leaking.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great shop! I had a transmission code pop up and was able to take it in immediately to have a diagnostic done. Also thoroughly appreciated that the situation wasn't mansplained to me like a few other shops did over the phone.

Great place, good work, good and fair price. Just ask for The Big Mac, he'll take care of you. They also do all aspects of mechanical work. They treat you like family. What are you waiting for? �chale!!!

Honest prices and good work. Not a place that price gauges or adds unneeded repairs like dealer shops! Been taking our cars there for a long time, our family s mechanic. Ask for MACARIO!!!

Not sure yet.l took my car in on Tuesday it is now Saturday nd dont know nothing about my car condition .they not communicating with me.l think l should just have it towed to a different shop.
