So far so good! Didn't run out of hot water in the shower and I could tear someone next door doing laundry at the same time. Nobody griped to my kno about me listening to music while taking a shower.Noteworthy details: This is not a motel! This is an RV park. Wish it was bigger so that maybe it wasn't so crowded! We can pay by the month instead of just place where we could only pay by the week. Makes it easier to budget! Husband is liking the lack of trees so jack of leaves but I am wondering about this summer and the lack of shade!

The name is not just a clich. This RV park has a clean and functional bathhouse (big showers), men and women separated. A small yet complete laundry room is situated between the bathrooms. Security is top-notch. Full hookups at every site (electric, city water, city sewer). There's even an outdoor common area for an evening bonfire. One possible downside is the noise from hwy 67. But the location more than makes up for it.Nearby activities: 5 min drive from Main St, Walnut Ridge: restaurants, Walmart, grocery store, auto and hardware stores, Tractor Supply, park, hospital. 10 min drive from Pocahontas: Super Walmart, restaurants, auto and hardware stores, park, hospital.

Stayed for a little over a month, the owners were very nice and went above and beyond to help move our rvs and get us set up. It was pretty quiet everyone basically keeps to themselves. Has a nice little picnic area and play ground for the kiddos. The Bathroom/shower areas are kept pretty clean and nice and warm for winter days. There is also a small laundry facility that is nice.

We stayed the week of Memorial weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owners are very friendly and put the customer first. We couldn't get the cable to work and even though the owner was bar-b-queing for company and mowing he kept checking to see if it was working. I kept telling him to wait until the next day but he refused to do so. He didn't give up until he had it working. The park was very quiet and and there's a nice large flea market close to the park. A great place to rest while traveling or to stay for a week or longer. We will definitely stay again.

Wonderful owners. Very friendly and clean facilities. The owners are always updating the facility and making sure that customers feel at home and safe. Many businesses would benefit if they modeled the hard work and customer service that these owners have given.

Only used a site to empty out holding tank s and sites easy access from highway. Owners super nice to allow service. Full connections available with what appears to be cable connections. Would recommend for easy stay.

Very good for what it is - a convenient stop-off with good, full hookups and friendly service. Many people live there - it's like America's smallest small town! But they have one pull-through and several back-in sites available for us transients. It's family owned and the owners are working to improve it each year. Gravel roads and sites which are nice and level. Surprisingly good WiFi compared to many more established sites we have visited.

Clean and convenient place with great people! Needed a quick pull in overnight in an area when 50 amp service was really hard to find. Family owned and this family really cares about their guests! Although we arrived around 8 pm, they met us when we arrived and helped us get in and parked before dark! Will stay here again!

Just recently had an extended stay at Almost Home. It was by far the most enjoyable experience we ve ever had at an RV park. The owner is extremely attentive to all of his guests and goes out of his way to ensure a comfortable stay. The community area, bathrooms, and laundry facilities are spotless. The WiFi that is available is high speed. I recommend this park to everyone.

This place is amazing! The owners are very friendly and are quick to ensure that you have everything you need and are set up. It is a family friendly RV park, they have a small playground for the kiddos and great hang-outs for the adults. There is a fire pit, laundry facility, cable Tv and Wifi, bath house with great showers, a grill with a covered eating area, its pet friendly, and did I mention the owners are amazing?! The price is on point (and maybe a little low!!!) for all that it offers!

Nice little RV park. We called 30 minutes before showing up around 7pm on a Sunday. Steve answered right away and got us set up. Had an issue with the 30 amp breaker but called and it was resolved right away, and they even called the next morning to make sure everything was okay. Full hookups, cable, and wifi. We didn't use any of the amenities. Nice large pull through site for our 37ft TT. Didn't even have to disconnect the truck. There was a street light in the back. Didn't need our outside light and able to see to get hooked up.

First, let me say that I'm giving "Almost Home" the rating of the RV park that we had to stay at, and 1 star is generous! We reserved and paid for a site, at "Almost Home" for three days, a month in advance of our arrival date. On Thursday, July 9th after traveling 10 hours to Walnut Ridge, and the RV park, we called the owners to find out what site we should be in. We were first told that we had never paid for the site, after providing proof of receipt, we were then told that someone was occupying the site we had paid for. Then one of the owners (wife) showed up and told us she had noticed someone in that site but had expected them to be gone since their site rental was up two days earlier. We were then informed by the wife that she had called the owner of the RV in the space and was told that the owner couldn't move it and she was sorry but there was nothing she could do. I then asked her, where were we to stay? Her response was "at another RV Park". I then asked if she had called another park to set up a reservation, her response was, "It was not their responsibility". When pressed for some sort of help, since this mess-up was on them, she dialed another park and handed me the phone to see if they had a site available. After securing another site at this different RV park, she gave us directions on how to get there then left. "Almost Homes" site map indicates that the sites are off a loop that circles around the property, as we were on the road entering the park and there was no room to back up, we decided to follow the loop around to exit! SURPRISE! The loop did not exist, after spending over 30 minutes backing out of the tight confines with a 41' RV and the wife in tears from shear frustration, we finally managed to get out of the RV park, but not before the wife showed back up with her husband. The husband repeatedly apologized for the situation and accepted responsibility for not checking to make sure that the site we had paid for was vacant. The owners refunded our money, lead us to the other park and paid for our stay there. The "park" was to say the least, a dump! No trees, ballast for a parking surface, a junk yard next door, etc. The owners of "Almost Home" told us that they would never recommend the park to anyone, but it was the only one with sites available. If there had been any other place to go we would have. I even drove back over to Almost Home the following day to check on that site because the owners had assured us it would be vacant the next day and the rest of the weekend. It wasn't. So even though we didn't get to stay at Almost Home, they get the rating of the park where we ended up. For those wondering why we stayed around, this trip was to visit my son and granddaughters whom we hadn't seen since before the world got crazy, it was kind of a family reunion as we also had my Daughter and her family with us.In conclusion, what really irks me is that even though the wife acknowledged that they knew the person in the site was past their departure date, they did nothing! The Owners of "Almost Home" never even had the decency to call us to let us know there was an issue, they let us drive all the way there and then initially tried to act as if we had never even paid for the site. Even after giving them the day the site was paid for, and the method of payment. They even made us produce the receipt, and read them the receipt number, before they even tried making it right.

My previous review was listed under a different name. If your looking for a quiet, safe, clean RV park I highly recommend Almost Home RV park in Walnut Ridge. AR. The owners live on site and are ready to help with any need. They offer overnight, weekly and monthly rates with full hookups. I stayed there 3 years for my job and never had any problems at all. Easy access to highway with grocery stores, restaurants and shopping close by. I am a single woman and the safety factor was a big deal for me. I worked odd hours and the park was quite so I could sleep. They have a laundry room, showers and a covered community area with bbq grill, fire pit and picnic table. They also have a playground for children as well as signs children at play to drive slow. I can go on and on. If you need a place to stay check out Almost Home RV park, you ll be glad you did!Judy Pendergrass

This RV park is small but gets the job done! Owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. We just needed somewhere to stay overnight while passing through to get to Texas, and this place met all our needs (easy to park our large 42 ft rig, had full hookups, and good WiFi).

Nice cozy RV Park. Plenty of privacy, they have an on-site laundry, showers and are currently installing a playground for little ones. Public grilling area, as well as grilling at private sites (grill at private sites not provided) . The owners are very courteous and professional. Definitely a revisit in our future travels.

Very accommodating owners. However, the utilities are shared between two units which puts one unit facing the wrong way. Many permanent/seasonal job workers living full time but those units are kept out of sight of the road.Steve, the owner, is working on plans to expand the park as soon as another lot of land comes available.

It was a great place to stay. Our truck broke down while vacationing and we had to have a place for our RV while getting truck repaired. Steve was very easy to work with. Very accommodating. Small clean RV park. We would stop by again.

Almost home rv park is not the place to go the owner will agree to stuff and then be snotty about it its like he tells you one thing and tells his wife something else he was very unprofessional about coming up to me he should have told his wife what was said when we spoke to him but instead it caused nothing but trouble so we left and went somewhere better than that place and they run other parks down as well so I would advise no one to go there
