Can t recommend Danny enough! He rebuilt the transmission on my 2018 Silverado and did a great job. It s running smoother and shifting better than when it was brand new. These guys offer a great warranty on it and stand by their work. It s an old school shop where they still have the same old school values and I appreciate it greatly. These guys are great and it s great to support a local business!

The worst transmission place ever. We took our truck for a transmission rebuild and asked for him to quote it before he did any work. He never called us back with a quote. We called to see if he had done anything because the tow truck took it to the wrong place. We had to pay for services he never even did. I do not recommend this place. He is very rude and unprofessional.

Danny thank you for the great job on my wife s 66 mustang car running great thank you for replacing starter and solenoid at no cost to us can t thank you all enough, my 67 Camaro coming in Monday for a rebuilt can t wait to get her done

My brother inlaw recommended this place so I paid Danny Turner to rebuild the transmission for my 02 Toyota 4Runner and this was back in later summer of 2021. After the rebuild I had the transmission put back on and it did not run correctly so he said to bring it in and he will work on it since its under warranty. Since then I've called multiple time to check on the status of the repair and no one answers the phone. A lady who works there finally picked up and told me she had no clue about the repair on my car so I asked to speak to Danny. I was told he would call me back, that callback never happend. 6 months have passed and still no phone call or no one answers. Finally, at this point he finally tells my brother inlaw and I that he is working on the car and he figured out what was wrong with it (it was a lie again) and he was going to fix it and test drive the car before we pick it up. Dead silence after that. So its well over a year now and at this point I had to get my SUV towed to the dealership to have it repaired along with a full refund. This is how they treat their paying customers, lies after lies and poor customer service. Could have been honest with me from the beginning and admit that he has no knowledge on how to fix the issue then I would have went else where. He wasted my time with nothing, but lies. This guy definitely lied on his resume and I work in a heavy traffic health clinic and I will definitely tell my patients to never do business at this place. SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE.Service: Transmission

The lady was a bit rude and they never got back to me after I left a voicemail. I needed a new transmission, and they had diagnosed my car as needing one. That's as far as it went. I could never schedule to get my car in.

by far the WORST transmission place around. they have had our truck for almost half a year & hasnt moved. everytime we call they say itll be done by the end of the week. theyve been saying that for MONTHS.

worst transmission shop to take anything to ,my truck has been there over 5 months & sitting in the same place as it was dropped off at & every time i call they say they have it on lift & every time i go to see it s still sitting out side in the same exact spot it was dropped off in

We took a Mini Cooper down to Turner. They were booked out about three weeks, but got us in. They confirmed we had a sensor failure but also advised other internal issues were present and a transmission replacement was required. They would not put in a new transmission because in their eyes, the vehicle wasn't worth it. They couldn't rebuild the transmission because they don't rebuild foreign car trans. And they refused to install used parts (probably have been burned by a used transmission in the past). So - we took the car back and installed a used transmission ourselves. Car runs great. But it was good to know that the issue was more than just the sensor - so we didn't waste money on one component just to learn a new transmission would be required. We are grateful for their help! We refer people to Turner Transmissions frequently because they are knowledgeable about Transmissions. Their parking lot sucks so be aware of that when going in - but they do make the best of a hard geographical situation. Centrally located in the River Valley which is a good thing.Service: Transmission

As far as great guys and work? I would rate them 4.5 stars, but they are in the service business and therefore they are required to communicate to customers, on this I have them a 1.5 and only because they are nice guys. They never returned my calls and kept me guessing for 3 weeks plus. I was out of state with my truck left with them.. all in all if I was local I believe it would be better, so that's it. Great guys..just poor communication and I tried and had my brother who is local even have a difficult time.

My Silverado had a well known issue occur which required my transmission to be rebuilt. Even with this happening during the coldest temps we have had here in a long time and being Christmas weekend the crew at Turner Transmission got my truck in and back on the road quickly and the truck is driving better than ever. 10/10 will be sending all my friends and family to do business with Danny and his team!

I ve been an automotive technician for nearly ten years. I run my own business and when my service truck had transmission problems there was nowhere else I trusted to fix it. While I possess the skills to remove my own transmission I couldn t do it as quickly or as professionally as they can at turner transmission. They re honest, communicate well, and most importantly do good work. Their reputation in the river valley is well known. Their work speaks for itself.Service: Transmission

DANNY is a stand up man if he says it he will do it. I'm more than satisfied with them they have backed all there work. Even though I have prolly been complicated. There is no words but great folks. This is by far the WORST shop I ve ever taken my car to. 0/10 do not recommend. They do not communicate with you about your car and the CONSTANT delays of their services. Fixing your car is not a priority to any of them. They ve had my car for months with still no progress. Take your car literally anywhere else to get fixed, it s literally ridiculous.Service: Transmission

They had my car for about 5 months they called me once in that time at that was the day I dropped it off. I had to call multiple times and was told that they would have Danny call me back but was never called back. After I finally got my car back found medical papers for one of the employees form when they took my car to their doctors appointment to be covid tested during the time they said my car was not fixed. It about 3 weeks after that when I got my car back.Service: Transmission

Referred to Turner Transmission as we were having hot transmission problems hauling out travel trailer across AR on the first week or a two month trip. Danny was great. Since he knew we were traveling, he immediately did a diagnostic and test drive. Also had good news for us, that we were only in need of a transmission cooling fan. And he got it installed immediately and had us on the road in just a few hours. Great service. Our trans stays cool now, even after going up mountains.

I made an appointment and was told to expect a one to two day turn around and would receive a call. I finally just picked up my car after eleven days of no calls other than me calling to inquire about the status, and no work performed. DO NOT USE!!! Worst service I have ever seen. Dropped my truck off. He wanted half down which is understandable. Paid him in full. He said 2 days to rebuild my transmission. 3 weeks later I showed up to pick my truck up and take it to another shop and have it fixed by Wilcox in Fort Smith. Danny never called and told me anything about my truck the entire time he had it. I had to call and ask about it and all he could say for 2 and a half weeks is that he is having to adjust a cable in the valve body. Talked to 4 other transmission shops and did research on the transmission there was not a cable inside my transmission. After I showed up and was going to pick it up he said it was done. Haven't had the truck 2 days and the transmission is went out after 2700.00 dollars spent I am back at square one. Will not ever recommend him to anyone. People beware of this guy!

My 2017 Chevy Silverado s transmission went out on my Way back to Fort Polk Louisiana, I had it towed to the shop on Thursday and by Friday afternoon he had it fixed and ready to go. I highly recommend this shopService: TransmissionService: Transmission

My car was suppose to be done a month ago and still hasn t moved they keep telling me it ll be next week then nothing. Then get mad when I call and ask about it so I ve been careless for over a month when they said my car would be back to me within a week and a half. Will never go back to this place and I don t recommend anybody go here at all. The owner is very rude also nobody s helpful at this place.Service: Transmission

This shop is the worst. They took months to rebuild the transmission on a 90s jeep. Then the clutch burns up 1st week we got it back. I've know of 3 vehicles they worked on. The price was to high an the service is the worst

I had the transmission rebuilt in my 96 z71. They done a great job and I've never had a single problem.I will be glad to use them again in the future when needed.

I visited this place in 2018 after I bought a Nissan from Orr, they found the transmission was a quart low on fluid. Very friendly people and I wouldn't hesitate to take my vehicle back to them.
