Stopped in for a quick bite to go on our way elsewhere. Ended up stopping and having breakfast. My omelet was so fluffy and cheesy! Breakfast plate was just right. Will definitely stop back in when we're in the area.

The best hamburger in the world. Period. The exact definition of hole in the wall, middle of nowhere, neatest place you even found. Aunt Lori and her crew are the best! A MUST STOP if you are hiking the OT.

My husband and I were just out driving in a new direction and we ended up stopping in Story Arkansas at a local grocery store and restaurant. We had the best homemade hamburgers and fries and the best coconut pie I have ever had. The ice tea was delicious too.People stop by and enjoy good food and friendly people , you won t be disappointed!

Outstanding! We stopped in for snacks, and ended up ordering breakfast sandwiches. I have never had biscuits so soft, light, buttery; and literally melt in your mouth. Sorry mom. This is off the beaten path of roadside America and definitely worth the stop. The food is homemade, very reasonably priced, and ready quickly. The ladies working were very friendly and sweet.

I ordered the regular cheeseburger with fries and wished I had two! SO good! The food was amazing and the store is a life saver. They have a take one, leave one hikers shelf, trail shuttle, local art, and cold delicious life giving water (or drink of your choice )!!100% recommend you visit and I cannot wait to go back!

Wonderfully quaint! Friendly service. Fantastic food! The burgers are great right down to the bun. They have all kinds of different sides that are wonderful too. We had corn nuggets, fries and onion rings. We have decided this may be a new spot that we will have to stop at every time we are close.

Fantastic food and friendly faces. Lori welcomes everyone like family. We're camping for 10 days in the area on our 25th Anniversary trip and this has become our go-to stop for a meal, fresh eggs, firewood, ice, and fun conversation with the lovely women who work here. We'll be back!!

Came in here on a recommendation from my cabin owner, two kids and an 800 mile road trip we were starving. It's Saturday evening and there was about a 12 piece bluegrass group playing away in the middle of the store. They were incredible. They were going in a circle taking turns singing while they all played, and every song was a wonder. We couldn't stay to listen so we took our food back to the cabin. The grilled cheese was perfectly crispy, I had a fried chicken sandwich that solved all my problems. The food was so satisfying and comforting after a long road trip. Thank you.

Fabulous little store and caf. If you are hiking the OT, this is THE place to stop. Lori is the physical manifestation of Trail Magic. I had a cheeseburger and loved it. I almost couldn't eat off of it and my fries. As a result, I didn't get to try the famous milkshakes or ice cream. I guess I'll have to go back again for them!

I fell in love with this old fashioned country store and restaurant the minute I walked in. The proprietors and customers both welcomed my son and I, and we were quickly waited on and served when we ordered breakfast. The food was delicious and we got service with a smile. These types of rural businesses have largely disappeared. Visit while you can. You'll be glad you did.

Ouachita Trail Shuttle Service. We called on Lori to shuttle us on our Ouachita Trail hike. She was always friendly, always informative and Tim (our shuttle driver) was fantastically helpful. Really nice people, really friendly and really willing to go out of there way to help.We called initially to set it our shuttle for our hike. We called later to make sure there no wild fires in the area. We called to say we were running late. We called to ask if we could bump it back a day. That's when Lori said, "show up here, and we'll make this work." And they did. Tim helped us drop our caches before taking us to the trail head. And when we pulled out early, Tim happily picked us up, retrieved our caches and took us to the car. He even called the next day when he discovered the quick release plate from tripod had fallen off in his truck. These people were awesome and I can't thank them enough.

Lovely little diner and store to refuel or prepare from hiking the trail. The ladies working there are wonderful and treated us so well. The burgers are great too.

Like others have said.. If hiking the Ouachita Trail, seeing Lori at the Bluebell is a MUST. She let me send my resupply box to her cafe, and fed a famished hiker. Not to mention shuttled me around!

For now I'm a monthly visitor, but can't wait to call this my "go-to" when I retire to the area. Great, home like feel to this small gem, specials are to die for and everything else on the menu is as good as Mama would make.

Sunday November 13, 2016. I was travleing on Hwy 27 North going south. My car had broke down at that time I happened to have my phone with me to make some calls however. MS. Laurie done what ever it took to get me the help that I had needed she had fixed me a plate of food how ever she happened give it to me and went out of her way to keep me satisfied. I was at the store for couple of hours until i got rescued by the people that was exepecting to be there in Hot Springs. The whole time i was at her store, She had kept me calm down.Ms Lauri, I would like to say Thankyou for everything that you had done for me that day. God will bless you in many ways.Sincerly,Franklin Richardson
