I couldn't be happier with the work done on my car. They took the time to work with my insurance company to help them understand the condition of my car. I was updated consistently through the process. On top of that, the car was so clean when it came out that I could see some chips I hadn't noticed. And they went back and filled those in for me.Always professional. Always helpful.Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Welding

CUSTOMERS BEWARE! If you're checking reviews because they're an approved body shop on your insurance, THINK TWICE. We've used Tanksley's for 3 generations, and until this new ownership, they've never treated us wrong UNTIL I took my 2015 Mercedes C300 in for a simple hail repair job and it turned into a several-month-long nightmare that ended in police intervention just so I could leave the property. Many thanks to the Springdale PD for their help! This place is incapable of communicating, is run by an aggressive general manager and a blissfully unaware owner, and they've caused more damage than they've fixed. After two visits, the second round was to "make things right. I ended up with a drained battery (which was replaced at Mercedes this year), completely rewired ambient lighting, peeling window tint, water damage and stains to A-pillars caused by an incorrectly installed windshield as confirmed by an inspection at Mercedes-Benz NWA, sticky dust all over the interior, broken rain sensing wiper sensor (also caused by incorrectly installed windshield), broken wipers (that locked on the interstate and the left one came off and hit the car behind me), excruciating cigarette smell, parking brake failure errors, collision prevention system failure errors, an unresponsive screen, and a nearly $5,000 quote from Mercedes-Benz of NWA of damage that needs to be repaired that was not previously there.I implore anyone considering this place to instead consider Collision Connection, which is much faster, much higher rated, and much easier to work with, and they work with State Farm. Do yourself and your car that simple favor. This is NOT the Tanksley's that the community has loved for generations, it's just the same name and building, and that is ALL. The high star ratings are from their previous ownership mostly, but they can only ride on that reputation for so long.NOTE, photos with circles is how the vehicle was returned after the first visit. I highly recommend Tanksley as a quality body shop who will work with the customer to make sure the job is done right and on budget. They treated me with respect and consideration. Very professional, with top-shelf craftsmen in the shop.My poor little 2007 Honda Fit got mashed by a slow-moving elder driving a large American car. The other driver's insurance covered repairs, and sent me a check for their estimate. Two other body shops treated me like an idiot, told me the estimate was likely far below actual cost of repairs and thus I would end up in "total value" territory. The insurance folks' "total value" was laughably low, and I didn't want to get anywhere near it with repair costs. Neither of those shops would even discuss what I suggested could keep repair costs well below "total value."When I visited Tanksley it was like the sun came out after a nasty storm. Chaston helped me to bring the repair price down in case more damage was encountered during repairs (none was). We line-item vetoed some purely cosmetic items off the work order, lowering the cost of repairs well below what insurance had paid me. Though there were some unexpected delays in getting parts, I was not surprised; my 1st-gen Fit is not common and I knew some of the parts might be hard to find. Chaston kept me posted on how repairs were going and what was causing delays. It ended up taking 2 weeks to finish repairs, but this was due to some parts being damaged in transit, and screw-ups at the other end of the parts supply line. My vehicle was beautiful when I picked it up--squeaky clean on the inside, shiny and nice outside. They even buffed out my old headlight so it matches the new one they replaced.Getting crunched in a slo-mo crash was a total bummer, but Tanksley gave this episode an uplifting, happy ending with their EXCELLENT service and work. Yeah!

Excellent shop to deal with. I came in on a Friday to get an estimate for a passenger side front fender repair. They were able to get the parts ordered the same day. I dropped my truck off the following Monday and they had it repaired and ready to go by that Friday. The paint blending job is perfect, you can t tell where the new paint stops and the 3 year old paint starts. I hope I don t need their services anytime soon, but if I do I ll be back.Service: Body & Trim

Fantastic Job and Superior customer service! A round bale caved in the front passenger door of my Dually while in the pasture. My friend Rhonda recommended Tanksley's, so I took my truck straight to them. Less than 1-week and the truck is done and beautiful! The repairs are showroom perfect, and they even detailed it! I had felt bad taking it to them as dirty as it was. Thank you Tanksley's!

They are friendly in order to get your business. I had an insurance claim and once I handed the car over they came back and added more "necessary repairs" which insurance covered. They also said I needed new battery. It was over 6 weeks to repair the car and once I picked it up and drove it home. The car wouldn't start because they used a dead battery rather than a new one they charged me for. Additionally, I discovered they left several gaskets off of the doors. This has been ongoing for 5 months with repeated calls and empty promises to call back. Don't get scammed, look over your car thoroughly. Poor customer service & no communication! Dropped my car off for hail damage repair. When I picked it up it was filthy inside & out! They told me that they broke a small piece to my rear washer fluid spout & would order me another, no biggy accidents happen. It s been 1 full month now & they have blown me off, no call backs when they said, they hardly answer the phone, the 1st 2wks they gave me the run around, week 2/3 they finally ordered the part after multiple attempts by me for them to do their job but it was wrong part, week 4 no communication, no phone call, won t answer the phone for multiple hours or will put u on hold & nvr pick up, I went to the office & waited inside with no one in sight for a good 5-8m. I went to the Honda dealer found the part# in 5min took it to Tanksleys & had them order it in front of me. Will have the part in 3 days! So basically I had to do their job for them! Super disappointing! They also didn t complete the job but got paid for it! I would nvr recommend this company!

doesn't do the work they agreed to, instead stringing you along for months and trying to gaslight you into believing you never made the appointment, even after you'd paid. When your insurance gets involved they pivot and say they just don't want to do the work because they didn't like how you spoke to them

It saddens me to write this. I have been a Tanksley's customer for years. But recently they were bought out and sadly things went down hill. I understand there is a delay in parts but their communication was awful and we got told many different things throughout the 5 months it took to get my car back. It took us calling almost every other day to get straight answers and things done. I would recommend if you use them stay on them. Was a returning customer. First time they did a decent job. Had to return for a minor touch up. This time I got the check set up in their name and mine. Needed to reschedule because I had an emergency at work I had to go out of town for. Left a voice mail and email asking for a reply. Waited over and week and called again and nothing. They obviously don't need my business and probably don't need yours either. Can't believe there are businesses that survive on that poor of customer service. The body shop workers are probably more like 4 maybe 4 1/2 stars because they did do good work. But their customer service is more like a 1 star. I won't be going back because I'm not begging someone to give them my business.

Customer service was horrible, had to keep calling to be updated on my vehicle and even had to go in person to get information. It took 7 days to get my vehicle back after being told it was a 2 day job for some hail damage repair. If they are a "preferred shop" with your insurance, DO NOT USE THEM!!

Hope there is 0 star. Never give updates about the car, worst communication, took months to just repair the front bumper. Even when they got the part, they say they don't have any availability to do the job. I have already paid the money.

Tanksley's is absolutely wonderful!Dropped by to ask them what to do about my van hatch not opening. Bill took a look at the mechanism, fixed it, and had me out in less then an hour. And they looked up where to find, and the cost, of some parts I need to get replaced, and even told me how to do it myself or to bring in and they'll do the replacement at no charge.Wish I hadn't waited 7 months to stop in.

I had minor rear end damage, about $2200 covered by insurance. I made it abundantly clear that I wanted OEM parts used as replacements since the car was new, and if the insurance would not pay to let me know. When I picked up my car I was disheartened at the work they had done. The rear valance was damaged and quoted on the repair, but they decided to paint over it instead. They did not call or let me know they just took it upon themselves to cobble up my car. It gets worse. Several interior panel and molding clips were broken that they did not bother replacing. Literally 1/4 of the clips on the wheel moldings were broken off and there was a rattle in the lift gate that ended up being other broken clips. Anyway, I took it back to them to fix the bumper that was misaligned. They kept it for two days and did nothing. At this point I had very little recourse; I could let them try to fix it again and be without my car for no telling how long or take it somewhere else. I chose the latter. There is much more I could say about my poor experience. But the gist of it is, their body work is shoddy at best, and their customer service is more than lacking. On a positive note, where they painted it is actually very good (except were they tried to paint the valance).

This was my first experience with Tanksley s. I would definitely recommend this body shop to friends and anyone seeking a body shop with first rate office staff and repair guys. My work was done in an excellent time frame and my car looks like it left the showroom! Thanks and keep up the great work!

Excellent experience!! Everything was repaired like new and in the timeframe given. Friendliest staff and easiest people to do any auto repair I have found. They went out of their way to make a bad situation easy to deal with.

I would give these people a zero star if that was an option. My wife took her car to get her passenger side mirror replaced. They wrote us up an estimate and we called them and told them to order the parts. They called and said the parts were there and they were ready for the car to be dropped off. When my wife picked up the car the mirror did not work and they said that they must have ordered the wrong mirror. So they tell me that they were going to order the new mirror and call me when it came in. I never received a call so I called them and asked where the parts were and I was told that they were there and painted and ready to be put on the car. So I called twice this week to verify that it was painted and ready to put on the car and both times I was told that the parts were ready and it would only take 15 minutes. So today on my lunch break I drive it over there only for them to tell me that the part was not painted and that I would need to come back again. Very unprofessional!! Avoid this place like the plague!!

These guys are a joke they are literally looking to rip anyone off who comes in for any sort of body damage. They are super nice at first but then they are super rude and they will 100% rip you off any chance they get they are terrible people and terrible business owners do not go here I beg you do not go here
