Giving one star because I had to give something. Currently dealing with a lock on the car 10 days after paying the payment and this isn't the first time the car will be paid off in june and I'd say this is about the 6th time they have done this once I was in another state it was below freezing I had my kids with me. This time I had my four month old baby with me and it was a little cool out not happy and definitely won't be buying anything else from there and proof of payment in case anyone questions that

I highly recommend seeing Paul at Car City. He goes above and beyond for his customers. I told him what I was looking for and he made it happen with no hassel. I will definitely go back to Car City if I need another vehicle.

My wife and I got a vehicle from them in November, she and I and my cousin was reading the paperwork and noticed the paper work was wrong. So she called them and was honest about it and gave them an opportunity to fix the mistake which they did. Took the car to the mechanics shop for an alignment come to find out transmission is leaking rear end is leaning oil leak rear end is popping bad and strutts are bad and a couple other major issues she called the owner he put her in a rental and sent the car to the shop, great. We get the car back and it s still doing it. We have called and called and called trying to get them to fix it no one calls back not even the OWNER. She was on her was to take our kids to school one day and the car just lost all compression and shut off had to get it towed home. Again she called them and told the said they would have the owner or manager to call back and no one did. Then this week she finally gets ahold of penny and they admitted they never fixed the car all they did was do an alignment on it. She is beyond mad I m beyond mad. Make it right put her in something else that is RELIABLE or give us every dime back we put down and we will go somewhere else

Do not trust these people. My girlfriend and I drove all the way from Russellville to trade in a vehicle, the deal had already been made we just needed to go and sign over the trade in and get the vehicle we picked out. After driving an hour and a half one way , they decided to tell us they wouldn t give us the vehicle we agreed in because we live in Russellville and my girlfriend works in searcy! Because she drives back and forth to work that they can t give is the vehicle we agreed on!!! Do not trust them, used car dealer scammers. That s what they are. Go somewhere else.

We did not have a good experience this time! Due to lack of communication between salesmen a truck was sold out from underneath us! Then upon returning my truck went into shop only to have the mechanic to be rude and close to only me! I won t be returning to car city anymore!!

So I went to Car City badly needing a car. I've never bought a car before so the experience was new to me. I worked with salesman Jason May and I could not have left happier. He went above and beyond to ensure I had a good experience while making sure I understood all the details. He was nice and professional while being relatable. He was patient with me while I made mind up about what I wanted and did what he could to put me in the vehicle I wanted to be in. The entire atmosphere there was great. I would recommend them to anyone in search of a vehicle. I love my new car.

The staff are friendly and they have a good selection of vehicles the only things that set wrong with me was they picked the car for me and didn't really give me any options of others & that the guy who "appraises" the trade ins only appraised mine at $300. I went to Autorama & they appraised my trade in at $1000 and I didn't have to have any money down to go with it. I drove my new car home the next hour.

Jason May gave us a great deal on 2 vehicles, was quick with the paperwork and gave us a good deal on our trade in. 10/10 definitely recommend. Make sure you hit him up next time you're visiting Car City of Searcy!

Car City in Searcy is the best. I just bought my second car from them. Traded in my Ford Fusion for a Mazda 3. Jason May is amazing he will do everything he can do give u the best deal possible. Car City preys on people with bad credit. Cars are priced 4-8k over Kelly blue book fair market value. They wanted 13k for a 2004 Chevy, Fair Market Price is 4.5k Greed at it finest.

Alright, I'll edit my review to give less anger and more info.In 2020 I took a friend to Car City to look at cars for herself because a coworker told us that she had just gotten a car from there and it was semi decent for the price, so we figured to give it a shot.I was also looking for car as well so I got the details on one that I really liked and thought it sounded good for what it was, but within the first week the car shut off and that's when I knew I was in for the long haul.I found out later that they had put my payment date in wrong, which affects the car because the GPS tracker all their cars have in them will shut off the vehicle after 9 days if you don't make an on time payment.I think it's sad that real lots with brand new cars give you months to make a payment sometimes, but this used car place will leave you stranded in under 2 weeks, so again, not off to a good start.I had them get and look at the car because it was under warranty at the time, and I didn't know what the problem was. While it sat, it leaked a good bit of transmission fluid, which I also brought up. When I went to get it(I live about an hour away so this is a wonderful situation for me to be in), they told me that nothing was wrong with it, and they didn't know why I had it brought in. I drove it home feeling stupid. They tried to tell me it was just anti freeze. I know it wasn't. I get home and find out that they put sealant on the transmission and lied to my face about it being okay.The person that sold me the vehicle was 17 at the time, and also got me in a predicament because the vehicle I used as a trade-in was immediately sold before I even got them the title or bill of sale.That aside, the car was somewhat decent, good daily driver, but 5 times out of the year I had it before it just died, it would stop and turn off randomly... WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT!I called each time asking for help, the first two still under warranty, but wasn't given any real help or direction. I was told to speak with my account manager and not Car City, so I called Cornerstone Financial and was then told to call their mechanic. I called back and forth multiple times through the work hours I was given, and only once got a call back. I was sadly at work and unable to answer, but her voicemail was so vague and was basically just like, "Hey, it's Laura, call me back."I've been trying to figure out what to do with the car for a year now. I'm probably going to have to sell it after I pay it off just to hopefully get something better. I just hope I can do so in time to bring my newborn son home from the hospital in a month.Supposedly it's just the WIN module. An easy fix if you have an aftermarket Dodge programmer, but nobody in my town does, the locksmith I called accused me of stealing the car because that's apparently something sus. I'm just trying to get it fixed, but I don't think I should pay to a fix a car that was sold to me broken.I don't want to sound like a Karen with all this, again, newborn son and no car don't make a happy dad-to-be, but it's just the principal of it to me. They replaced the engine and transmission before the car made it to the lot. So this is absolutely from them not putting the car together correctly. I'll be fully honest and say that I loved driving my car a lil rough. She needed some new brakes and an oil change for sure, but something to do with the VIN numbers not matching and if it supposedly only takes the push of a button on a mechanic's tablet to fix, I don't think I should have to pay for it and made to feel dumb when it could have just been avoided.That coworker had good luck with her car but didn't like how she was treated in the long run, my friend and I have had so much trouble with ours, mine being the worst of the bunch. We don't recommend Car City. I hope you have better luck with them than we did, but in the words of Simon Cowell, "It's a no from me."

Let's be honest. Worst place to buy. Save money for a cash car. I regret not doing this. They over price vehicles and don't check them out. I should have just waited.Don't make my same mistake.I'm lucky I know the right people otherwise I would have just had to pay major money in repairs and not had a vehicle or had a broken down vehicle that I still owe way to much on.

Not the best but not the worst. They like to not be so truthful when it comes to the financial side. I will charge you extra each month saying you don't have insurance when you do and have proof.

Was able to get a good truck. Had a oil leak and got it fixed, took long enough. Don t do business with Jason May. He lied and told me it would cost me $100 service fee to just pick up my title work. It was already cooperated into my loan. Jason May was trying to pocket another $100. Do business with someone else at car city!!

Out of 10 car places and many salesmen saying they can work the deal I need, Kaleb was the only one who went above and beyond for me. I have struggled for months trying to get the right deal that fits what is affordable to me. And I was skeptical because I have heard this same thing before "come on out we will take care of you" just to go home empty handed. Kaleb is genuine about taking care of customers. Thank you so much for actually staying true to your word. Trust me yall it is worth the drive.

I've been with Car City for over 5 years I never had any issues or problems. When something goes wrong with my vehicle they are always there to help. So I do recommend anyone who is looking for a vehicle try car city!! great people and willing to work with you to get you in a vehicle

Jason May is THE best car salesman you could ever ask for! He is kind, courteous, and always looks out for the best interest of the customer! My family and I have done business with Jason for years and we wouldn't have it any other way! He will literally do anything he can to get you into a vehicle you can afford and that suits you.

Jason May is amazing and easy to work with. He went out of his way to make sure that I had what I needed not only for the comfort of my family but also wouldn t be a financial burden for me and my family. The rest of the Car City people were friendly and happy to help, but Jason went above and beyond to make sure were happy and taken care of. By far the best sales man I ve ever worked with. Go see him and tell him I sent you!!

Salesperson is awesome, she explained everything in detail with our contract prior to signing any agreement so that we fully understand the agreement. They gave me time to test drive to Conway to see if the vehicle can make it up the gravel hill to the house. They worked with us on our Down payment by deferring it to 2 payments.Thank-you Car City crew. Kristen Hoover.
