2 months to fix car that needed fuel pump. Called and asked when to bring it didn't want it just sitting in the way. They said bring it on in. We will get on it in just a few days. It sat outside for a week with hood up and rain every couple days. Not pleased. But it did finally get fixed.

Don has and is always down to earth and great at what he does. It's crazy to think you can actually have quality auto care with quality customer service under the same roof. My husband and I travel constantly and we push our vehicles hard and though we can go anywhere regardless of the states we may be driving through we always wait til we can bring our vehicles back to Don as we absolutely do not trust anyone or anywhere else with our vehicles he has long gone great customer service with state of the art auto service. Thank you Vernon's Auto Care for all of our auto needs and for the outstanding customer service.

I was traveling and started having truck problems. I googled for a mechanic near me and Vernon's showed up. It was only 5 minutes away. So I pulled in with my big red truck went in the office and tried to explain to Dawn what was wrong and he grabbed his code reader machine and came out and hook the truck up and in no time had discovered what the problem was, and that it was easily fixed. Even though it was the middle of the day and lunch time he popped the hood and set to work and had me on my way after a short period of time. He charged me Much than I thought it was going to cost and was very patient and answered what must have seemed like a million questions. While I was in the office paying another man walked in and I got to talking to him and found out that he had been going to Vernon's for more than 20 years. Apparently Vernon's has a lot of long time customers. I very highly recommend this place if you have any kind of car problems. Thanks Don!

I recently moved to Russellville and was having problems with my car and a family member recommended Vernon s car repair. I was having AC problems and Don was very knowledgeable and repaired the problem quickly and at an affordable cost.Most recently I took it there because my car was not accelerating properly or switching gears. I had ran a diagnostic and it returned a few things wrong with it and some parts needed to be ordered and replaced.Don test drove it, and the main problem was that it needed transmission fluid. He was able to take care of it and I had my car back in no time and it is shifting and accelerating much smoother. Again, it cost much less than what I had been quoted previously.Don is very knowledgeable and has always been very honest and fair.I appreciate his dedication and hard work, I would highly recommend him for sure. He is real and honest with you and he knows how to find the real problem.

Knowledgeable, honest, and fair. It s tough to find mechanics who know what they re doing AND don t try to gouge customers to pad the bill.Don is as good as they come.

Called several times over a two day period to ask about availability for them to work on my car, and kept being told that "the owner" was busy and would call me back. He never did so I finally chose somewhere else, Oscar's, who helped me immediately.

My starter solenoid died after about 200k miles I think, got it towed to Vernon's, they replaced it in maybe two days if I remember right and the charges were, in my opinion, totally reasonable. That was my only experience at this shop but it was a pleasant one.

Amazing service. We pulled in Friday 5pm after our van stlled on the highway because of the carburator issue . Another shop sent us here because mechanic Don here is knowledgeable of old cars. He took care of our 84 chevy van even though it was 15 min before their shop was closing and fixed it so we were able to get back on the highway, to continue the journey. I'd travel miles for the mechanic like Don!

My Car Air Condition wasn t working and it was a older Model Mercury!! Thank Goodness I took it to Vernon s!! He had it fixed and me back on the road shortly!! I Totally Appreciate The Concern and Timely Work!! Thank You!!

We were traveling through Arkansas, camping in the Ozarks, when our campervan started experiencing transmission problems. The first shop we took it to wrongly diagnosed the problem and told us that our compression was bad and we needed a top end job. We had it towed to Vernons for a second opinion and Don was able to correctly diagnose not a compression issue, but a transmission issue. He was friendly, had us back on the road quickly and charged a fair price for the job. We would definitely recommend this shop for anyone in the area.Service: Transmission

I recently took my vehicle to Vernon's Auto and Truck repair (4/11/17). I told him specifically what problems I was experiencing. Don had my van 10 days fixed NOTHING. When I say nothing I mean he didn't fix ANYTHING. When we finally picked our van up because we had to go out of town Don charged me $103 and sent us on our way. I am not exaggerating when I tell you driving home the problem was worse, way worse. I WILL NEVER GO BACK and unless you enjoy paying your hard earned money for nothing I suggest YOU DON'T either. Furious over our experience with Vernon's Auto and Truck Repair if I could give zero stars I would.

First I called on Wednesday 11/13/2019 to get a quote on how much it would cost to change thermostat. I got a quote and went by there on Wednesday 11/13/2019 to make sure he could do it and get the part ordered. Came in on Thursday morning and he said your going to hate me. It s going to be over $600 dollars. I actually found a place cheaper in Russellville to change the thermostat for $300 parts and labor. I would not recommend this auto repair shop.

I'm from this area but live in Atlanta. We were in town visiting family when the check engine light came on. Pulled in there and Don really took care of us. Real nice and honest people. Great job.

This shop offers very affordable and honest services in the most timely manner. I broke down with overheating issues on my truck and Don was very helpful and got me back on the road.

Have been taking my vehicles to Don for years!! It's hard to find an honest mechanic who actually knows what they are doing. These guys will take care of you 100%.

I could not have been more disappointed with the service this place provided me! They did more damage than repair, and the price was ridiculous. I wouldn't let these people work on my lawn mower!
