I can t say enough about how wonderful these folks are! They helped me out when I desperately needed it. I was broke down in a parking lot and needed help. They came to my rescue immediately and fixed my vehicle in no time! They are such wonderful people and so fun to be around! They definitely made a stressful day turnaround quick with the great customer service they offered. Highly recommend Baldwins Auto Repair! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Will be taking my repair needs to this shop from now on! Very reasonable pricing to fix my car and even went the extra mile to clean my battery connectors. Mitch and his son were super friendly and down to earth. Would recommend to anyone with car troubles!

They changed me almost $300 to change a $50 part and now my blinker don't work or wipers or bright lights and hood latch is broke and my car still overheats. I will be there when they open to see what they say. I hope they do me right.

I can say many awesome things about Mitch and his son and the rest of the crew especially that girl cassey lolz they are 1 in a million 5 stars doesn't even compare to how wonderful these guys are they went above and beyond for me twice and I don't know any other shop in town that would do that.I recommend them 100% I promise you that you will not be disappointed they are such a blessing can't ask for better men just down to earth as they can be and their hospitality is the greatest like I can not say enough good things about them.God bless them they truly are amazing fast and the price isn't expensive they really care for their customers.Have car trouble give them a call and they will fixes you right up guaranteed.

Okay so I'm just passing through town and I pull over immediately cause my wheel is shaking turns out my wheel bearing exploded and my whole rotor was resting on my tire rim basically, I called like 5 other shops and they all said their too busy, and I called Baldwin and they said they couldn't fix it today either but could take a look at it. So I drove it over there and they took a look immediately and git the wheel bearing off, and put a new one in cause I had new bearings with me, and got me back on the road again and helped me get home that was 2 hours away. And they got me a new seal for free cause I only had 100$ and I told them that and they said they'll make it work and did the replacement and fixed my issue and got me on the road again. With being so financially limited these guys still went above and beyond in their customer service. These guys will never know how much they blessed me today. This is the best shop I have ever seen or been to and I recommend for all automotive needs for those who pass through Paragould! God bless these guys and their business, thank yall so much!

Got me in and out within 24 hours and charged within the average price for an ignition switch to get my a/c working again as well as tightened the steering column cover back together even though it was loose when I brought it in from previous issues I couldn t fix.

They're not the kind of business to call the customers and notify them about how much the repair will cost or what exactly is the repair. In fact, they're not the conscious kind of business that call the customer about anything at all. It's up to the customer to call them. And even then when the customer does call to specify how much they are able to pay or to let them know not to bother about a certain problem which the customer is fully aware of is wrong with their vehicle, this type of negligent business ignores the customer's request.They took the liberty of charging $800 which was never authorized nor agreed upon.Then after 2 full weeks of waiting and making umpteen calls later, after they had to change the repair bill to change it because it was "all wrong" according to the owner Mr. Mitch Baldwin, it had labor and parts which were not done and not installed, he decided to return $50.00. Still, they had to do something to it at the last minute, which was not disclosed and it remains the "mystery fix".No, I do not recommend this sabotaging sort of business to anyone because they're not caring about the customer. Not once did they returned any calls, not once did they advised how much it would cost, what they thought was wrong or anything about any thing period.They took the vehicle, waited 2 weeks to even look at it worked on it maybe a couple of hours and charged an outrageous amount for labor and parts. Not even plastic surgeons charge as much.They're always "out to lunch", "busy with another customer" or "gone for the day". Otherwise, too occupied to deal with the calling customer .Very disappointing. They're not a member of the BBB. I did not see any certificates of any mechanical accreditation anywhere. The son is the tow truck driver not a mechanic, yet he's the one telling the customer what's the problem with the vehicle, only when the customer calls to ask, then if the customer suggests a certain repair he tells them he has to consult that with his "dad". But he tells the customer he's in charge. Not professional, not punctual, not accurate, not polite, if Aidan (the son) answers the phone, he just says: "Baldwin's". Not good morning or good anything, almost as if answering the phone was a tiresome tedious unwanted chore. Not polite.They're too full of themselves, they're "The" repair shop in town that is always way too busy, always late, no time to check in with the customer, no need to check and make sure the customer approves of the repair and the outrageous overpriced fix. Not a good place to take your vehicle if you're expecting the simple courtesy of one single call back from them to tell you anything at all about anything at all.

This place is nothing short of a joke. My son took his car there in July it is November 22nd, they still have it.My son was told by CarMart he HAD to use them for it to be covered by warranty, needless to say they've had excuses everytime for why it isn't done. As a certified mechanic with two + decades in this field it is no less than a disgrace to our industry. They may be good for smaller repairs however advanced diagnostics is not their strong suit. They should have said after the third ECM that they couldn't do the job and outsource or release it to another shop.Be cautious with what you send to them.Service: Electrical repair

Don't even get me started on how they have jacked my car up and they still have it. ITS BEEN OVER 3 1/2 WEEKS. They quoted me a price and now has raised the price JUST FOR LABOR tremendously! Called me to tell me it was fixed, got there to pick it up and IT STILL WON'T START yet when I dropped it off it started fine...

Mitch the owner took such great care of my Vehicle needs. He personally made sure that everything was correct and I was satisfied. I have a 2011 Nissan Titan truck and it needed a new exhaust manifold among other things repaired. I have an extended warrany on it and they gladly called the company and started the process for them to pay for it. His team is knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. I've taken 5 different vehicles there over the years and I have NEVER been disappointed. I want to thank Mitch personally for his expert advice and knowledge. Hopefully I don't have to be back soon,.... but if I do it will be Baldwins Automotive.

1month: 2 weeks to pickup my truck and 2 weeks setting out in the rain to have them tow it to another shop to do a half a days work. The tow guy didn t even know my parking brake was on when he towed an unloaded it ( him and mitch told me my rear end up locked up lmao)Mitch ran off to the bathroom after I sat there for two hrs waiting to see if they would get it in a bay that night LIKE MITCH PROMISED I ll never use them again: used to get a yearly tune up and regular work done; that s was til a yr ago. The following excuses I was told to my face for my my car couldn t get work:Not enough staff, been sick, equipment broken to do work they promised to do, busy, and my personal favorites family on vacation and my wrecker is broke but I can get your car between 12-5 today. The dealership we got my husbands car from referred us here, there was a horrible knock in the engine, they said it was a motor mount and gave him his car back a couple days later, we drove it off and it was making the sound again. We took the car back.... they had it for well over a month. We kept getting a different story as to why it wasn t being fixed. Finally they said it was the catalytic converter... it was very obviously not an emissions issue, it was the motor. When the dealership tracked the GPS on the car, it showed up in Brookland, someone had been driving it! We finally got the car back... we dropped it off with almost a full tank and got it back with the gas light on. My husband drove it a whole 10 miles and the engine jumped time and made another horrible sound and died and now has to be towed.... never had such unprofessional service from an automotive repair service, we never could get a straight answer and the problem was never fixed and there is more issues now than before.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Very very friendly, but they must be covered up with work. After 3 months and never hearing from them I stopped in to find that my vehicle had been pulled in the middle of what appeared to be a salvage yard. They were running around trying to work on several cars they had pulled inside and trying to answer to even more people piling through the door. I genuinely felt sorry for them, I hesitated but still asked if they would be offended if I took my van elsewhere cuz they were covered up. Justin was extremely nice and apologized for taking so long and even offered to tow it to which ever shop I chose to take it and he didn't charge me for the tow.

Our family vehicle has a leak from the transfer case. We took it for a quote a few weeks ago and were told that we needed 2 seals replaced. We were told that it could be done in one day and that we didnt need an appointment and could just drop it off.We figured out a day when we were both off work so that we could take the vehicle to be repaied. I called the day before, even though they had told us it wasnt necessary, and was told that they could definitely get it done on the day requested, just have it there by 8:30. My husband and I dropped the vehicle off and were told they would call us when it was done. They close at 5 so when we hadn't heard anything by 4:30, I called to check on it. I was told that they didnt have the seals needed to fix it but that they didnt tear the vehicle down and we could come pick it up and bring it back another day. That was last Thursday and I was told the seals would be in Friday or Monday.We scheduled another day off together for today, exactly a week since the part was supposed to be ordered. I called Wednesday morning and was told that the part wasnt in yet but that they would call when it was. My husband called at 4 because we still hadn't heard anything and was told that they had a tow but would check on the part after that and call him back. We never heard back so I called again this morning at 8:15am. I was told that the seals still weren't there but he would contact the parts store and call me right back. He said he understands that we need the vehicle fixed ASAP and would like to get it done today. It's been 2+ hours and we still haven't recieved a call back which is apparently par for the course with this establishment. I wouldnt be near as frustrated if they would just let us know one way or another if and when they would be able to fix our vehicle.This customer service has been awful and I've never had to chase someone in order to give them money for a service. Looks like we will be taking our vehicle and business elsewhere.

Have had numerous repairs done by Baldwins on our truck over the time we've had it, and spent at least a couple thousand dollars, only to have the same problems again and again....not to mention new problems when we would it get back that were not there before they "worked" on it. (But our car dealer said we were saving 10% by going through them)We have now decided to bypass the dealer AND Baldwins and have had LAFE AUTO REPAIR do our repairs and have been Completely Satisified!!! AND for 1/3 the cost!!!

Kept my car for a week and a half, changed the oil and coolant sensor for $210.00.....it was brought in for the vsa switch going out causing it to shut the engine off (which they were made aware of) and when we picked it up, it wouldn't even start. They came out and jumped my car which has a brand new battery in it. When they told me my car was ready AFTER A WEEK AND A HALF just to reiterate, they said that it was working perfect and that the mechanic had drove it to Mr. T's from Paragould. This had to be a straight up lie because it literally died twice right after leaving his shop. Save your money and your sanity.

I took my car for an a.c. compressor install, due to another repair shop diagnosis. Because they told me it was going to cost $700 , I shopped around ,found and called Baldwin and they quoted me $500. Baldwin done their own diagnosis and told me the line was disconnected. Nothing wrong with the compressor. The other shop was going to charge me 700 bucks to hook up a condenser line that they said , DID NOT LEAK! Now my car is blowing cold air and they saved me $635! I definitely recommend Baldwin's auto repair to everyone!

I took my car to Baldwin s to get a thermostat replaced. It was a 2003 Buick Regal GSX with a turbo engine. My car had all of the original parts, etc. I babied that car from the day I drove it off the lot brand new in 2003. Baldwin s had my car for several months and when I finally went to pick it up I was told one of their employees took my car out for a joy ride and blew the engine. My heart ached. Baldwin s replaced my original engine with one they got from CA. There is a leak still. No one else wants to try to fix what Baldwin s messed up and I refuse to take it back to Baldwin s.Service: Engine repair

Paid Baldwin's 100$ to find why my truck wouldn't always start. Called me told me it was running after a week. Got it home wasn't any running any better took it back to him the guy at desk acted like he didn't wanna mess with it anymore and told me some things that it could b and told me to call him if I figured it put. Have three vehicles I planned on Baldwins working on, yeah Right.

They need to seriously put air conditioning in that place, it's good service, Dustin Rowland is a great employee, but dear lord Mitch you charge enough for auto repair that you can afford to buy an air conditioner for not just your customers, but also for your workers because they are literally having heat strokes. All I have to say is, great service, high enough prices, but you will never get mine or my family or friend's business again until you take car of your workers because you are literally gonna kill someone. Think about that Mitch!

I paid MItch Balwin over 1200 dollars to fix my car, including the a/c. The a/c made the car start to run warm every time it was used, told them numerous times something was wrong. Was told it was normal drive it anyway, and use the a/c, there wasn't a problem. My car now has a blown motor due to a/c issues that are still not fixed. So when the new motor goes in, the a/c has to be fixed AGAIN to prevent the same problem from happening again. So unless you want your car more messed up that it is to begin with, find another mechanic service! Mine was a very costly lesson learned!

I had known Baldwin since I was a little girl, his passing was a great loss to our community. But the people tht is there is just as friendly and caring as compassionate about their customers, Baldwin definitely left behind a legacy to the right people and community and business.I look forward to doing more business at baldwin's as my parents once did.

Had my car there almost two years ago to fix my alternator problem with all my car batteries dying. They just tightened the ground wire. A week later my car battery died again. Called with wheel bearing problem worked me in the next day. And on top of that after complete the side that was bad I discovered other side need replacing as well . Mechanic replaced other side same day. That's good customer service
