The service manager was very friendly, professional and efficient. The mechanic was knowledgeable and skillful. They are fair/ honest and provide a good service!

Was given an appointment for 1-24-23 to bring my vehicle for diagnostics, quote and repairs. Truck was leaking water and AC was not cooling. I called or went by 4 times to check on the work being done and every time another excuse of why they had not looked at it yet. On 2-7-23 a lady called to tell me the leak was the water pump and there was no Freon in the AC. She quoted $669 for repairs and that they would put a dye in my AC to locate leaks. I approved the quote. I went to pick up my truck at 11:00AM on 2-28-23.The lady said she had made a mistake on the quote and now the $769.27. I paid it just glad to finally get my truck back and fixed. Drove across town with the AC on but no cool air.Made a stop in town and when I got back to my truck there was a big puddle of water andMore water dripping from the same place it was leaking when I brought it in for repairs.I took it back @ 12:00 and showed her the leak and explained I still have no AC. She said the Freon must have already leaked out and the leaked I have now had nothing to do with the water pump repair. She also said I should take it to a diesel Mechanic that they would be unable to fix the leak. In short, I got the run around for 2 weeks waiting on my vehicle to be repaired, was misquoted the estimate to fix my vehicle and I spent $769.27 and still have the same problem I had before they Fixed It !Tried to call the owner, Lynn Thomas, but no answer. I have texted Mr. Thomas and haveyet to receive a reply!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Ho god this was busy all the time I rescheduled my appointment for 2 times ..only for oil change it s speedy but any other issues it takes time not hours it s days .

At first everything looked good. Went in for an alternator , Which I bought myself, and they said that it would've been easier if I bought it through them, but since I bought it they went ahead and installed it for me. It broke down. So the next time I went, I returned the alternator and bought through them this time and whenever I got my car back it broke down again. So, when I called them for a tow back to the shop, because I couldn't physically get the car to move. the guy on the phone yelled at me about moving the car, but I told him that I couldn't move the car which was the entire reason why I was calling him. He proceeded to yell at me and I had to pause before I could speak to him and let him know that the car wouldn't move. So they finally came and got it again and they fixed it again and it broke down a week later so I called them yet again for them to pick up my car but this time, they refused to come and get it. I called in twice they didn't answer the phone I left a voicemail they didn't return my phone call so my car has been broken down since. I spent $700+ in labor and parts, $50 in gas, $$ in insurance, and other things since receiving my car that was "supposed" to be fixed.

the people here are very nice, but very unprofessional. i brought my car in monday, they diagnosed the problem with my car, told me they could fix it and to bring it by the following day, tuesday. i brought it by and they told me they didn t have enough mechanics and to bring it by wednesday, the next day. i thought okay you know no big deal. so i bring it on wednesday and they told me they could fix, gave me an estimate, and i had already called someone to come pick me up. 10 minutes go by and someone walked up to me and said i needed to take it somewhere else amd that they couldn t fix it. i tried to be patient, but it would ve been real nice to know if they could fix it or not on monday when i could a taken it somewhere else.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Took a vehicle in for them to put a flywheel in, they had already said the holes were bored out , they put 3 bolts in and lock tight on them and called it good. We put it back in for the new flywheel to be put on like it was supposed to have been and they still didn't do the job. They looked at it and said bolts were still in and put the vehicle back in the yard. The secretary doesn't give messages or pick up the phone. Definitely won't use them again for automotive services. It also takes forever for them to get a vehicle in the shop.Service: Transmission

I had them tow my car and take a look. I spend over 300 for a fuel pump which turns out to not be the problem. Turns out the guy that diagnosed it quit and the next peroom didn't verify the problem. Then I spend another 300 to replace the timing belt and it brakes down 40 miles away with the timing belt coming off so they come and get it to fix it again. It still doesn't run right. I was also told several times my car was ready and would get a ride to go pick it up just to find it wasn't. Also, I had another problem with it and needed a tow for them to look at it again and was gonna give them another chance and was refused service. Would not take anything here.

Fixed me right up! They did a good job too! Reasonably priced and will try to fit you in if they can. They stay pretty busy so you may have to wait, but they've always done a good job on my stuff.

I took my car there for a/c maintenance; knowing that my compress was working; just needed a charge. Tested the compressor before taking the car there. Dropped the car off, and the lady called me and said that my compressor was gone... when they added the freon, it started coming out the seals. I told her, if my compressor is blown, then that means YOU BLEW IT; putting too much freon in. She then proceed to tell me that it would be $1,200 dollars for a new compressor. I told her, "hell to the no". She then told me they had a (manufacture) special and would take the price down $800. I told her, what part of "hell no" do you not understand. I went back to pick my car up and they still charged my $60+ for the freon they blew my compressor with.That makes Magnolia look bad because of their crooked business practices.Since then, I have ask people about them and NO ONE has given favorable recommendations for this business. They all tell me of the crooks there.From my experience, THEY ARE CROOKS. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this business.They may have tried to take advantage of me because I have Arizona plates. Even if I needed a compressor, I would not pay them to put one on my car because of their business practices.THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO RUN A LEGITIMATE BUSINESS.UPDATE: I took my car to Spittlers Automotive and all was needed was TO CHARGE MY A/C UNIT. NO COMPRESSOR NECCESSARY. This let's me know that Performance didn't even charge the unit, but yet charged me $60+ for NOTHING......Bottom line, they charged me to SCAM me.PERFORMANCE AUTOMOTIVE IS A CROOKED BUSINESS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.

I used Performance when our truck broke down & needed a tow. The driver was very courteous & came quickly. The price was reasonable.

Went in to have them replace my back fan motor and find the leak for the front. Took a week to order the new part and fix up my Tahoe. Now it's blowing cold air again. Was also a lot cheaper than what Spitler's was gonna charge me

Their nice people but their work is terrible, they went in to do a distributor cap change, left wires unplugged, and my truck is still acting the same way, wouldn't go there at all

Great, honest and hard working people. They dont charge you and arm and a leg, unlike some mechanics. I would recommend them.
