I've been taking 3 of my cars to Joe's for the past 7+ years. They've repaired air conditioners, replaced alternators, done alignments, replaced suspension parts, done major brake repairs, and more for me. They've always been fair and honest with me. I recommend Joe's Garage to anyone in the area looking for a good mechanic.

Amazing service, if I was a local I would be a regular customer. Travelling cross country and had an issue with my car. Was able to get the car fixed within a couple hours, same day. The owner, Joe was super friendly and I enjoyed having a conversation with him!

Very pleased with the service I got at Joes. They are professional and did a thorough job of communicating what my options were with my 30 year old Volvo s air conditioner. Cleanest auto repair facility I ve ever been in which reflects their impeccability and caring about their customers.

2nd time here. While it could be a little bit friendlier both times my vehicle was diagnosed, repaired, and communicated to me very well. Very happy with the service to my vehicle.

Edit: See a simple professional response would have been appropriate. But, you doubled down with the condescension.SMH...Bless your hearts.Took vehicle in for o-ring repair. The car began leaking oil. They replaced the defective part. I'm not a mechanic, so when I went to have my oil changed two months later, I was told the drain plug was jammed. So I called thinking that it may have happened during the repair. The individual responded, "We don't do that..." and proceeded to explain the process. I was taken aback by the condescending tone. And stated, "Hold on, I was just asking because I don't know what they do." Then, she faux apologized told me to have a good day and immediately hung up.I had more questions regarding another service. The disrespect

I took my car in because I had oil in my coolant reservoir. My car was overheating. The cashier had outstanding customer service. She also had an idea of what the possible problem could be. They told me it would be about 3 days before they could look at my car. On the 3rd day they called me and explained what they think the problem could be. They told me an idea of how much it could cost. They told me they may be able to have my car ready the next day. My car was ready the very next day. I appreciate them so much. Most places were behind close to a month. They got me in and out. They communicated well during the whole process. If I have any problems in the future, I will gladly take my car to them. I have a 2018 Dodge Charger SXT. They are the best! If I could rate them higher that 5 stars I would! Thanks again! Keep up the great work!

It took a while for them to get to my van but after I talked to Stephanie the work moved fast and accurately. They will get all of my business for all of my vehicles.

I went in for a basic service and they found a dangerous issue, I scheduled the repair and was clear about what I wanted done. I thought it was an CV axle issue and they quickly located a bad wheel bearing and replaced it in the same day! Good mechanic labor costs money, and they charged a fair price for the labor of pressing in a bearing and took care of other maintenance without a problem!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This review is the result of several previous experiences over the past year involving my 2016 Chevy Silverado and 2000 Chevy Impala. This shop was referred to me by a good friend after I had gotten an expensive repair estimate from Bale Chevy related to my fuel injection system. My friend explained Joe's was the only place he used now as they were "old school" honest and very competent. Well, they cleaned my throttle body on my Chevy and my truck has been in great running condition the past year, a fraction of the cost of the injector replacement the dealer said I needed. A couple other experiences have involved my 2000 Chevy Impala and in both cases, diagnostics and repairs were handled expertly and fairly. I have joined my friend as someone who now considers this shop my "go-to". The staff is friendly and the place just has a good vibe. Thank you. I don t speak English very well, but they were patients with me. I went there for a PCM problem, I thought there was no solution for that, but they did found it, they are amazing, I was worried about the problem.

I was given an 04 mountaineer that needed engine repair. They recommended a pre-owned low mileage engine. My vehicle was high mileage. I am very pleased with their service and kept me informed. My engine performance is excellent. No leaks anywhere. Did not have to return it anything. Work was performed correctly in the beginning. Thanks. Leonard Clark. Little Rock.

I definitely recommend Joe's Garage. If you ever run into mechanical problems specifically while traveling & don't know who to go to, this is the place. They do more than just a great job, they really go above and beyond amazing. Everyone who attended us was very kind, supportive, friendly & caring. Oh, and a very clean environment too. Not only were we lost, but we found ourselves without any direction, nor guidance. Being in a different state, with many hours away from home, tired, & not enough sleep, was very devastating, & yes, stressful. Until we were recommended to Joe's Garage, I can honestly say they are lifesavers. I want to give a big thanks to everyone, in helping us and understanding our mechanical problems, needs, & finding solutions.Remember, if you need an excellent, honest & humble auto shop, then look no more, & go to Joe's Garage. We really felt at home, & part of the family."Once again, thank you all so much."

Terrible Service! I brought in my mustang gt for a heater core replacement. The car was sitting there for two weeks. After a week , we gave them multiple calls to follow up, either they wouldn t the answer phone or nobody that was working on the car was available. Finally we get a call to say that they didn t have time to look at the car but they believed that it wasnt the heater core that was leaking on the passenger floor. I ask him in person the day i came to get it , if they pulled the dash out ? He said no. I just want to know how they were able to diagnose the heater core (when we im certain its the issue) without pulling the dash out . He said they were able to tell with doing a pressure check that took about 20 minutes. So my car sat there for 2 weeks for only 20 mins worth of work!!!Then said well i could go ahead and take the dash out if you want me too , but im telling you the heater core is not the issues . REGARDLESS if its not, the general area of the issue wouldve been behind the dash. He even said that himself , so why not putll the dash out then. Money is not an issue with me. I just want it fix. He was more concerned about that than me.If you have any major work, i wouldn t recommend. They lazy and will lie to you in your face and insult somebody intelligence.Service: Auto maintenance

Terrible customer service. Scheduled an oil change for 9:30 and arrived on time. Requested an estimate as to the wait time and was advised vehicle would be ready in 30 minutes to an hour. I returned to pick it up three hours later and work had not even started. Unhelpful employee informed me that he did not have any idea when they might start. Total waste of time!Service: Oil change

Didn't listen to the problem I had and said the car was making noise and shaking that I never noticed, still don't. Would not recommend since they didn't take the time to listen to my concerns and what I wanted the to look at. They might be a great shop but not this time. Sorry. Addition on 8/6/2021 in response to owners comment. We did stop by, who ever did the inspection said the car was vibrating so bad when stepping on brakes and that all the brakes and rotors needed replaced. The car was on the rack with the tires off. It would cost over $600 for them to do it. Pepboys couldn't find anything wrong with it and finally the last place we took it too said it just needed the brakes bleed after finding a leak and fixing it. Brake pads and rotors were fine. No problems since. Positive point was Joe's Garage did not charge for the inspection. We did stop by without a appointment. Like I said, Joe's Garage might be a good repair shop. Just not this time for us. And we saved from spending $600 dollars and not fixing the problem. Agree to disagree

I am not at all the type to post a poor review of my experiences, but my experience at Joe's Garage was so exceptionally poor that I felt obligated to share.Around a week before my service, I reached out on the website to request the cost for a repair for my air conditioning. It was the condenser, and I had already confirmed this before reaching out. A few hours later, I received a call to confirm my estimate. Once I double confirmed with this woman that this price includes parts and labor, I scheduled my service a week later.Fast forward, I drop my vehicle off the evening prior. The following morning I receive a call from Joe's Garage stating that I was correct, there was a crack in the condenser. I acknowledged this and stated to proceed with the repair. However, the woman told me that the price was now nearly 3x the initial estimate. The circumstances had not changed, just was given a completely different price for no particular reason. I naturally explained that this did not match my estimate, and pleaded to see what we could do to make amends to the best of their ability and be a reputable company and stand by your estimate, not gouge prices after wasting the customer's time. I will state that the women in the office were very friendly and understanding, and you could tell that they had a solid understanding of customer service skills. All of our discussions were fairly routine, I felt as if that this would be corrected or at least amended. However, I could not have been more wrong.I had the pleasure of getting directed to Joe himself, and immediately after he answered the phone, I knew that there would be no chance that this man had any intention of correcting his staff's mistake. I quickly explained the situation, and he swiftly accused me of misunderstanding the estimate and that he would never do a service like this for that price and I "couldn't make him." I responded by stating that my line is recorded and I would be happy to show him the conversation that stated my price included parts and labor. Joe immediately raised his voice to me that he is finished with the conversation (before it even started), proceeded to threaten me and damage to my vehicle. He cursed at me several times, stated he would not work on my vehicle no matter what I paid him, and proceeded to speak to me in the most inappropriate fashion as a customer of his business. He was not only unreasonable, but his logic was so twisted that I truly believe this man does not understand his surroundings. I would have to conclude that Joe is a senile man, and talks down to people when he gets backed into a corner by poor business practices and cannot explain himself out of the situation. It was a unfortunate situation, as I would have been more than willing to acknowledge that the staff gave an incorrect estimate, and I would have been willing to negotiate the price to where I was treated fairly and this business could make the situation right where also making this a fair business transaction. But, the thought process of Joe is instead of attempting to right the situation, he screams like a child on the phone and refuses to allow you to speak, even though he knows he is wrong. Someone needs to explain to Joe that the customer is always right (not in a literal sense, but obviously screaming at a customer cannot be right no matter the situation), and righting your wrongs in a business setting is how you retain long term business. It might be time for Joe to make a trip to the nursing home so he can verbally assault members of the retirement community, not money paying customers. If you want to be given the runaround, waste time out of your day, and be talked to like a dog, Joe Sharp of North Little Rock can provide you the courtesy.Service: Air conditioning

I don't like leaving bad reviews... buttt ...The lady on the phone was rude, I had read the bad reviews before calling, but I was going to give them a try, cause you never know. But she was rude enough to say nevermind and look around for someone else. Don't give people business that don't want it.

Just moved to Arkansas a few months ago. And my manager gave me his machanic number in which is Joes Garage about issues concerning my alternator. Set an appointment and a next couple of days later, I'm around professional and honest people who has great quality experience and customer service. They checked into it and come to find out it wasn't my alternator but I needed new battery cables. Today's time it's hard to find honest people who do quality work. If I had to live back in New York again, I would literally pay to ship my vehicle back-and- forth to Arkansas to Joe's Garage every time I have a vehicle problem. They are that Great!!!! Spend your hard earned money with quality and honest and 15+ years of experience friendly people at Joes Garage. Quality work at it's Best!!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I ask about the overpricing.I was attacked by Joe's daughter. She was a secretary. Then Joe and 3 of his shop guys followed by beating me for 15 minutes near unconscious. I never hit anyone back.I suffered a broken nose, and a caved in eye socket, and many other lacerations and confusions and contusion. I was admitted in the hospital. I went back and paid my bill.I tried to press charges, but the state prosecutor told me no,because he knew Joe Sharp personally. I never did business there anymore. Joe had serviced my 1972 Mach 2 mustang. He also put a oil pump in my new esv escalade.I could never understand how someone could attack an innocent person and not be held accountable.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Electrical repair, Auto power window repair, Steering & suspension repair, Auto exhaust system repair, Auto glass repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Transmission replacement, Auto detailing, Transmission repair, Brakes, Auto tire replacement, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Brake service & repair, Auto maintenance, Oil change

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Joe's Garage! We were traveling through the area and started having trouble with our car in route. They diagnosed the problem quickly and hustled to get us back on the road fast. It was a bad wheel bearing and would have been really bad if it had given out on the road. But thanks to Joe's we made it home safe and only a few hours late!
