Horrible experience trying to get my car at Avis LIT airport. I am Avis preferred and took over 90 mins to get a car. Non preferred customers were receiving cars faster in a 4 to 1 ratio. They really need to take a closer look on how they take care of their preferred customers. This is a pic of the 20ish people who were preferred. We all were treated poorly. Cars were there but were saved for future reservations. They would not reassign to the people there because too much paper work. Beware.

I only gave an extra star because of the counter agents and my initial experience in obtaining the rental car. I was able to easily book online and the counter agent was pleasant and helpful.Aside from that, I won t be booking from this location again (and I would strongly advise against anyone else doing so). First, if you want to extend or modify your reservation after you have picked up the car it s counter policy that you MUST return to the airport to extend or modify the reservation. This is incredibly inconvenient especially if you have an unexpected travel delay preventing you from returning to the location to extend. Luckily that wasn t the case for me and I was able to return to the counter to extend. However, I m still unsure why returning to the counter was necessary seeing as how, they did not ask for ID or my credit card and simply used what was already on file and allowed me to keep the same car. When I returned to the garage to get the keys for the car from the booth I was told by Alina that I would have to go find the keys myself from the guy who parks the cars upon return. I initially attempted to do so but after several minutes of looking and not being able to find him, I returned to her and advised that because I m not an employee, I should not be responsible for searching for her coworker. She still refused to find the keys and I ended up having to request a manager. The manager was not available but the counter agent was very sweet and went out to the garage, found Alina s coworker, secured the keys and pulled the car up to me.I strongly encourage people to rent from the McCain mall location as my prior experiences have been satisfactory with them.

I had a great experience with this franchise and location for my rental car. I will admit it was hard to figure out where to pick up the car even though the airport had tons of drop off signs. The few employees I interacted with on pick up and drop off were super friendly. The lady helping me pick up my car was able to do everything in a very timely manner, and I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes. My drop off took off less than two minutes. My rental car was clean and in excellent condition too.

I m a presidents club member and have rented with Avis many times. They were the preferred vendor for my employer until poor service caused my employer to switch to another provider.Over the years, I ve had some not so pleasant experiences with Avis in the past due to unclean cars, cars that smelled like weed, car in generally poor shape, but this week is just the worst.I dropped off my rental car at noon today at Avis in Little Rock after a rough travel week. I was greeted by a man with horrible profanity complaining about how he was being worked while in so much pain. I honestly wanted to get away from that situation as fast as possible. During this exchange, I left my suitcase in the trunk.I went on about my day and realized it a few hours later. I called over and over again with no response. I made it back to Avis around 6pm and went to the counter. I left the associate know that I had left my suitcase in the car. She called out to the rental counter and they said they didn t not have it. I asked her if they cleaned the car and she shrugged her shoulders. She said she was sorry and there was nothing they could do. I asked for a managers info so I could explore my options, and she said she didn t have a manager. So I told her I was going to call corporate. She called her manager after that and then hung up and said the car would be back on the 31st and they could check the car then. I asked her if she could call the customer and ask if my suit case was in the car and she said it was against policy.I am so disappointed. I know I shouldn t have left my suitcase in the car, but I was tired and trying to get away from the uncomfortable situation the return associate was creating.I also tried calling customer service to report this was met with a message that said that due to unforeseen circumstances, they could not take my call.I travel for work weekly by air and rent cars each week. I had important medications in my bag and $1300 worth of possessions between the suit case, steamer, cosmetics, shoes, clothing, and hair tools. I have 4 days until my next work trip and Avis has basically said just wait and see what happens. I ll am reporting my bag stolen to the police, as I do not want my prescription medications to end up in the wrong hands and this will definitely be the last time I rent with Avis.

I arrived in line shortly after 12noon and there were 4 agents at the Avis/Budget counter, and there were 6 persons ahead of me. A few minutes later, 3 agents disappeared. I was served 49 minutes later because it appeared that those agents took their lunch breaks at the same time. Once I was with an agent, all went great with check-in. I received the best car for my short trip.

I had to rent a vehicle for business. The staff was literally very accommodating. They put me in a vehicle to best meet my travel needs. Their customer service, smiles and warm personalities won me over. I will definitely be an Avis repeat customer.

I am an Air Force Colonel and I travel every month for the Air Force. Most times Avis has really good prices comparatively, so I have rented from them a lot in the past, mostly at Bill and Hillary Clinton Airport. This last time in early September, the vehicle I rented was parked so close to another vehicle, I had to climb in the passenger side to get into the driver seat. The vehicle smelled strongly of marijuana. As a retired sheriff corporal, I worked a lot of narcotics and know what it smells like. I was also told the Ford truck they gave me had a full tank, but it was only 7/8 full. I had to get to a meeting in 45 minutes so I couldn t go talk to someone and called the next day to Avis customer support, since nobody would answer the phone in the Little Rock office. I was told they would document the fuel as 7/8 and to return it that way. They also said they would refund 20% because of my troubles and the smell. When I tried to turn it in, I was told I was going to get charged $9 a gallon for gas for the other 1/8 tank, so I went and filled it up. But was then told I wouldn t get refunded the gas. I called today to find out when I d get my rental refund and to ask about the fuel since I had a receipt. I was told I had to call back in a few days. Not happy at all with Avis. Enterprise will probably get my business now.

I asked to extend my rental 3 days, and the lady at the counter confirmed the day and even asked the time to make sure I wouldn't get charged an extra day. She told me how much the extra charge would be, and I thought everything was fine. I dropped off the car this morning and got a notification that the car is 3 days overdue. I checked the small text blue-print receipt and what do you know. She kept it the original return date. The price difference was just an insurance upcharge. No idea what I'll be paying now. The whole place smells like fraud. Picking up, the car I reserved wasn't available. The car I received was damaged, and when I tried to file a report before leaving the lot attendant vehemently insisted they don't take damage reports, despite my arguments that I wanted it on record and every other rental company I've needed to do this with had forms. I really hope there aren't more surprises to this experience.Edit: RG, what a joke of a response. There will be no future rentals with you.Edit2: Not only was I forced insurance I didn't need, I was double charged as well. I will be contacting support, and then a lawyer if necessary. $951.91 for a 7 day midsize car rental (but they were out and forced to take a truck)

Missed enterprise by 9 minutes when they closed, AVIS was open. Awesome we thought. They only had an SUV. That's okay, but from 9 minutes after midnight it went from $90 a day to $207!!! What the hell. That's insane. So we declined because that's a scam. We'll be back to enterprise tomorrow.

Avis uses discriminatory practices in accepting debit cards for car rental payments but will only accept a credit card with a $250 hold to rent a vehicle. Everyone doesn't have a credit card. Also, I have yet to retrieve a pair of prescription sunglasses that were left in the overhead visor compartment.I firmly believe the vehicle was not thoroughly searched before it was rented less than 24 hours after I turned it in, only to return 2 weeks later without my property which was also not turned in to the lost and found.Avis/Budget has a corporate duty of care to satisfy the customer in every way, as trusted caretakers of their property, said vehicle. This was my first and last time renting from Avis. I normally rent from Enterprise and will continue my loyalty to them, especially if this situation is not settled to the satisfaction of all parties involved.

My flight from Little Rock to DFW was cancelled and I did not have the luxury to wait until the next day to be rebooked.Anthony was wonderful in finding a reliable car/SUV for me to drive one way. Many thanks to Anthony and many thanks to Avis for hiring a great young man!!

I have been a loyal Avis Preferred Member for over 15 years. I recently started to come to Little Rock. This is my 4th time and each time is a little worse.Today takes the cake. At normal and we'll managed Avis counters, you have a board that had your name and car slot. You go to the vehicle, put your bags in and roll. This location has no such efficiency. Thier is a line of 40 perferred customers, 2 people working a Kodak film booth and no vehicles.I walked up to ask a question and the attendant slide the door close. Great customer service. No planning, no training, no customer service. So much for loyalty. Here is a tip, dont make any plans until you get your vehicle. It may be a few hoursGood luck.

I received an old car. The car is dirty. Many dents. The air conditioner was smelling.

Avis requires a $250 credit card hold for rentals. I had no problem with that but I feel it discriminates others. Also, I left a pair of prescription sunglasses in the visor of the rented vehicle that was rented the very next day without someone searching the vehicle first. I have yet to retrieve my property and am searching other alternatives in order to do so.My experience was frustrating and stressful.

The pricing was not competitive, and they did not have a vehicle even remotely close to what I requested. The counter person was efficient yet showed zero compassion toward my dilemma with the lack of availability of a vehicle even remotely close to what I reserved. I repeated that description due to reserving an economy care and offered a full-size SUV or pick-up truck. I was told I could switch it out when they had another vehicle available, but when I called to make sure they had one, I was told there were none currently available. The check in process was quick and easy and the staff was friendly and efficient.

The car I reserved was not available. I reserved a premium full size vehicle two months in advance. This was to celebrate my daughters high school graduation. I had to fly in as I am stationed across the country at the military base in Georgia. Upon arriving and waiting in line I was asked if a truck would be ok. After inquiring if the car I Reserved was in the only other vehicle was a compact. The truck was way too big and I unpleasant to drive not to mention it was dirty and unwashed with a filthy bug splattered windshield. The trip was not ruined as I did see my daughter walk across. The stage but I was hoping to make picking her up a special moment instead of a clunky dirty base truck with no options

Vehicle pickup was horrendous. Took well over an hour due to long line (20+) and limited cars. Heard Premier (fast pickup) customers were in the same boat! Counter staff did what they could and I commend them for their patience and attitude. However, if I was strapped for time I would have been screwed! Did get a nice Charger though!

The vehicle wasn't in particularly great condition. It had a large scratch on the outside. Inside it had streaks on the inside of all the doors. There were strange indentations on the passenger side dash, as if an animal had indented it with its paws. I was overcharged about $24 over my guaranteed reservation. Considering I returned the car within the proper time parameters, full of gas and only drove about 30 mi, I have no idea why I was overcharged. I'm annoyed I have to call to fix this. I won't be renting from Avis at the Little Rock international airport again.

My rental pick-up was just past midnight. The attendant was first rate. The car was in excellent condition, inside and out. My drop-off was as close to seemless as it could have been, taking less than a couple of minutes at 4p.m. the following day.

I travel weekly with my job. I book all travel through concur. I flew in around 11:30pm. I had reservation confirmation for my car rental. I show up to the counter after waiting in line just to be told they have zero cars. Many people were turned away with confirmation agreements. On top of that the two employees seemed to find this funny when many people walked away angry and confused. I will never use this location again! Luckily hertz was able to fill my rental after waiting 45 min. Thank you hertz.

I think I might change my rental car company soon. I've had nothing but issues at this location. Check out the line in this pic due to the preferred booth outside not being open. Cars have been dirty, old and sometimes not available on time. This location needs to get it together. I travel for business and have been late to meetings because of their lack of efficiency.

Did not have a car for us when we made the reservation in advance. They claimed we did not have the reservation until it was shown to them on my phone and then she found it. They then tried to upcharge us for an upgrade. We ended up waiting over thirty minutes for a vehicle. The customer service was terrible and the lady was very rude. The ladies also told us to rent a car from one of the other places at the airport. This happened on 10/7/23 at 3:00 PM

Do not use this Avis location. The outside staff are not very helpful as my past two rental pickups have taken at least an hour to get my car. I couldn t reach anyone via phone when on the second day of my rental the oil change light came on. The inside staff member was more professional, although I don t remember her name.

I've been a preferred customer for many years. for the past year or so, I haven't been able to go directly to my rental as advertised. Sometimes waiting 30 minutes or more at a counter to pick up my car. Seems the advertising for being a preferred customer is becoming fiction.

Had a car reserved. Still had to wait an hour to get a vehicle. The vehicle was out of wiper fluid and the inside of the window was so hazy it was dangerous. I had to use my eyeglass cleaner to make it bearable. This was a huge safety liability.

zero stars. I am a preferred customer at Avis. I usually use the Avis mobile app and choose my car once I land at the airport. Then go pick up the car - simple and easy. But at this location at Little Rock airport, the pick a car would not work - 'car not ready' was the response. So I went to the preferred counter, no one there, no sign up for car location, just a paper sign to go inside to the regular counter. I went inside and 12 people in line and only one service agent at the counter. Had to wait in line over an hour to get a car. Seems they were not honoring the preferred program process at this location. And saving money by not hiring staff and making customers wait. Terrible customer service. I will never rent from Avis again. Because the corporate office should do something to fix this location process and procedures. Customers should not have to be delayed over an hour on their vacation plans waiting in an Avis line. Unacceptable.

Left a pair of sunglasses in the rental car. Can't get a hold of the front desk to see if someone turned them in. Been calling all day. Submitted a claim as instructed and no one to talk to for an update. Very frustrating and will not rent from this company again! How can you call the front desk of a major car rental company and get a busy signal? Or you get message stating "there's no one to answer your call at this time" and so you get hung up on. Unbelievable.

Horrible experience. On 8/9/23 we arrived at the Little Rock airport and went to the Avis desk expecting a full-size car that we had reserved weeks earlier. We were told no full-size car was available. When we asked when it would become available the clerk told us We don t know. Could be an hour. Could be longer. Whenever someone returns one. I asked what a reservation meant to Avis if no car was actually reserved. The clerks shrugged. Then, in classic bait-and-switch style, the clerks told us we could upgrade to other vehicles available for a price. I told them that since the reserved car wasn t available, we should be given a free upgrade, since it was the fault of Avis. They practically laughed. In the end, because we were in a hurry, we were forced to pay $25 a day more, a total of $300 more than agreed-upon. I m still fuming.
