I will be the first to admit that I missed a no overnight parking sign and screwed up. A1 towed my semi from Conway to their yard and wanted over $2400 to have it released. I called them after I found out the truck had been towed and there was no mention of not being able to take a card. Upon arrival they told me com checks or an efs check were the only payment options and that they couldn't take a credit card despite there being a sign in the window showing the credit cards they accept. While standing there I overheard a call where they asked how a customer would be paying and one of the options they gave was using a credit card. They tow cars so there obviously must be a way for non fleet/truck drivers to pay. I also found out that all checks are to be written out to a person and not the business. They are obviously scamming people and a terrible company. Judging by the other reviews I am not the only one to have a horrible experience.

I have hard working employees trying to earn a living. A1 picks and chooses what days they want to pick up cars from the JC Penny's parking lot in little rock. They took two of our employees cars still working. They have no ride when they get off work. Not good business.

Car was broke down in Walmart parking lot went to get tool to fix it and came back and they had done picked it up. And going to cost me $427 to pick it up. Not an honest company at all. Guess they was hoping to keep my restored 1979 Camaro. Owners son really likes the GD WORD. Not a good company at all.I d give a 0 rating if there was an option to.

Mixed emotions about this place! Nice people just doing their job . The problem is with the businesses we spend money at. Businesses have contracts with A-1. I do believe A-1 could use better judgment tho. Plucking cars from hard working people and then charge outrageous pricing to get vehicle back is bad business! Not a fan of A-1 but I get it. Complain to the business that has the contract.

My husband is a truck driver, he parked next to the outlet of Little Rock to go get something to eat at salt grass, since it was Sunday they were taking long so after 30 minutes he left, but when he got back his truck wasn t there, unfortunately it was towed in between those 30 min, called and they said they couldn t let the truck out because it was a Sunday, he was really rude who ever took that call, that was around 3:00 pm so what could he do ? In a place he doesn t even know anybody, rented a hotel for the night with none of his belongings, next morning at 10:00 am, time they open, he gets there and these we re the charges$2,000 for towing$1,000 for the semi truck$1,000 for the trailer$200 a daySince they towed it Sunday at 3:00 pm and since they were "closed and couldn t release it till Monday at 10:00 am, so that counts as 2 days, insane right ?So $400 for thatPlus $25 dlls for the serviceMost but not least (taxes) $230.38A total of $2,655.38Still can t believe all these charges are real but sad true story.. the most easiest way to steal your money. Biggest thieves.Pictures of where he parked for not more than 30 minutes.

About a month ago I broke down in my Company vehicle in Little Rock. A1 came through in the clutch. They rescued me and took me home (to Oklahoma City). I appreciate them and Trey is the man. If you ever need towing, call A1.

In town from out of state for a concert. Parked apparently in a church parking lot (forgiving Jesus and all, right?) We weren't the only ones parked there, no one saw a sign, and by all appearances everyone who got towed from there were also out of town. About fifteen different people towed. Now for the fun. First they say hey can't come without an appointment, call at 10am. So call at 10am, they say only open by appointment and not releasing cars until 1 so I ask for an appointment. They say come at 1. No information needed, so that's not an appointment but what do you expect from a con artist company making a living out of ripping people off because you can?Now for pricing: $300 to release, $30 for access, and then, my personal favorite part $65 for two days because even if your car is there not even close to 24 hours, if it's picked up before midnight, it'll count as two business days. Then, of course, sales tax. Oh! Let's not forget they take cash only, however don't have change to give back. So to all the people they just told to bring $500 they stole all the extra. I can get a car out of police impound cheaper.Glad we all could help cushion your wallets. Enjoy your stolen money.

As far as my experience with this company, 1 star is far too many! I am contracting with a major corporation through a third party. I deliver for them and proximity to any location factors in so while I wait for an offer, I park towards the back as to not take up spaces intended for customers. I walk anytime I can because my job is performed sitting so I went inside about 8pm to use the restroom and purchase a drink. Somehow, I lost my key fob. I had to have thrown it away when I washed my hands looking back but I called a friend and got a ride home to get my spare key. I recently separated from my husband that has moved to fort Smith so when I couldn't locate it, it turns out he still had it. I had to compensate my friend for their time and gas to drive me to fort Smith and back to get it. It was a 5 hour journey so upon my return which was 230 am, my car was gone. I call the police who direct me to A1 towing and I speak with the owner who says it was towed. I explained the situation and he said the night manager said I should have known better. Again..I explained the situation and he said he was would call the night manager because this corporation determines if I get charged. He says I'm to call in the morning at 9 when they start releasing cars. I borrow my daughter's car and speak with the night manager but he is not familiar with my company so I apologize and leave. I work during the day and so it doesn't surprise me he is unfamiliar. He states that there are signs but I did not plan an overnight situation when I left. I wasn't pleased that my ex wouldn't meet me or even that I had to see him but I waited until the day Manager was on site and returned to speak with him. After our conversation, it was determined that the towing company set the price which is 475 dollars that I do not have and I drive for work so I had been upset for a while. He thanked me for my service after he saw my ratings were high and that I had completed over 800 trips for them. He said if it was his call he would wave the fee in a heartbeat. I called the towing company and the woman informed me that the price was 475 and that I would have to speak with the owner when he came in. I had some documents I needed so I drove up there to see if I could retrieve them. Only medication and glasses are allowed to remove the vehicle without paying $300 upfront. They had an issue with their internet or something.. upon my arrival I was informed the owner was there. I waited, the woman returned and said she spoke with the owner and that he had spoken with the day manager and offered me a $300 one day only deal to get my car back. I didn't bring a driver with me and I live 30 minutes from my location. I came up with the $300 and when I went to pay the woman she had forgotten to include tax. I had to go borrow the money to cover tax. I asked if my car would be safe until I could return to retrieve it but no. I could not leave it. I was going to have to walk 3 miles to get it in a safe location.. she got angry with me.. the owner refused to speak to me. If he had been honest then I would have been trying to gather the funds rather than talking to managers. I went to the gas station and a stranger to drive my vehicle to a safe location until I could return. They are terrible people. They ruin people's lives for a living. The owner lied to me and refused to face me. Had it not been for those documents I would have let them keep the car. I still owe money on it and there's been a lawsuit so it's not worth what I owe, no one will insure me, and I'm buying Time at this point because repossession is the logical thing to do. They treated me badly because they can't face their truth. I was polite but I am a nurse, I'm just not practicing at the moment. I value life period. Every human life. If I was to bestow the same courtesy in my career as they did for me that day then I would be breaking my code of ethics far beyond losing a car.

Let me tell you something, service doesn t get any better than this! If anyone has adopted the Chick-fil-A message of trying to help their customers no matter what, A-1 towing has done it! They went above and beyond to ensure my bus was drive a while before they took off. Even waiting on the truck tire people to show up to lend them a hand as the bus was already off the ground, that just doesn t happen much these days and it was a pleasure meeting and working with the driver. Thank you guys!!

Worst company I've ever dealt with in my life. I think they have a deal with a church in town and use it to make lots of money whenever there is a concert at The Hall. Lots of people from out of town were parked there and were towed in the span of a few hours. Then they charged close to $500 a pop to get our cars back. They told us they only take cash and then didn't even have change. (Which who only takes cash these days, sounds pretty scummy to me) I would rather have dealt with the Police honestly. I don't see how this is at all legal. Can we end capitalism already and stop all these crooks from taking advantage of us?Service: Car towing

My sons car was towed from Walmart parking lot in Conway. Parked it there and rode with family to visit with his sick mother. Next morning it s gone. Total fee was $570. Charged me by calendar day for 3 days of lot fees, was only there for 2 days. They NEVER contacted me.Side-note, my son filled up his car with gas about an hour before he parked it. Have receipts time stamped and a AirTag in the vehicle. It was in their possession the whole time. When we got it back it was on E. They ll steal your gas, too. Only take cash so they can commit tax fraud. These folks as shady as they come. Beware. If you have problems with these folks, call the Arkansas Towing and Recovery Board. Complaint is filed.

My daughter called this morning to get details of her towing, and the dispatcher Kayla was extremely rude and disrespectful to her. She yelled at her, brushed her off, and hung up twice while my daughter kept her composure and couldn't figure out why the woman wouldn't at least provide her with a little information. We have let the owners know of this behavior and hopefully they will address it accordingly or apologizes. Until then, I will ensure that my friends and family will not have to deal with the disrespect and attitude from someone like Kayla.

I just want to make sure I reiterate how rude the dispatcher, Kayla, of this towing service was. She has one of the worst customer service attitudes I have ever encountered in my life, and especially in a time when I'm just trying to calmly figure out the details of my towing. I will ensure that everyone I know knows about Kayla and this business at whatever cost. Please do NOT use them if you value quality, kind service in your time of need. They, especially Kayla, does not care. I hope that Kayla attitude can be dealt with, or this business will loose many, many more customers.

Our semi broke down on the I30 west of Little Rock. Terry worked it so we were picked up next and gotten out of there. At first CJ wasn t the coolest but he was really awesome. He is a master at his craft. Highly recommend this company of you need your semi towed. And if you get CJ it ll be done totally right.

So these jacks towed my car - from my own place of business - then "did not have the manpower" to return it. I had to go to their lot to pick up my vehicle they "mistakenly" towed from my office. When I did get there, they had people running around. Staffing shortage my back side. Stay away from these people if you can. When you have problems, call the Arkansas Towing and Recovery Board. Complaint is filed.

Can you say rip off artist? My husband's semi was towed from a lot behind the truck stop. While it was posted no truck parking it was not posted from the entrance he entered and there were already other trucks in the lot. My husband went to a family members home overnight and his truck was MIA at 5:30 a.m. when he returned. They are now charging him $2650, part of which is 2 days of storage fees because they picked it up last night and the office doesn't open until 9 a.m. I feel the property owner and towing company have a scam going. Perhaps the truck stop is in on it since the lot appears to be overflow parking for them from the closest entrance to the truck stop. These people need Jesus!Service: Special vehicle towing

Called this morning to inquire about my missing vehicle. I think it is important to keep a good professionalism, even if the person calling is distress about their missing vehicle being sold by you all and didn't get proper notification. I didn't know my vehicle was gone for 2 months. So yes- this is dissatisfying news and very stressful news at that. Not a good time to have a horrible attitude to the person who lost a vehicle during this time when people are losing their jobs, gas and food prices going up, etc. I wasn't even mad at the lady because she was just doing her job but when I asked her why she was getting an attitude her response was "I am the ONLY person working today. I have the phone ringing off the hook and I have a person at the front window." Maybe this is not a you problem but I have worked in worse conditions like that in customer service. You got to do better.

Kayla is the absolute RUDEST person I have EVER spoke to on the phone. She HUNG UP ON ME when I just had a few questions about my towing experience. Please do NOT use this business, and especially not with Kayla. Horrific customer service that I have never experienced in my life. I will ensure everyone I know knows about Kayla and her nasty attitude, and will be reviewing this place as so.

He played great music and we talked about fruit, lol! We were very grateful to have him help us, thank you CJ Service: Special vehicle towingService: Special vehicle towing
