They have always been honest and did great work on my vehicles. With that being said I dropped my truck off get the breaks done. I was told it might not get done until tomorrow. I work nights slept through phone call of what needed to be done. Woke up at 5pm my boss texted and asked me to come to work. I called about 5:15 they close at 5:30. They put tires back on with a smile. I appreciated that so much I work in Memphis. So lunch was on me the next day. I guessed it right 20 employees were in the building. I appreciate everything Gateway does for my vehicles.

I went to Gateway Tire and Service Center on Friday morning to get my oil changed and tires rotated. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. Snacks were available and televisions were on. The wait was not long and their price was competitive. I would recommend them to anybody looking to get an oil change, tire rotation or any other service they offer.

All four of my tires had to be replaced on my truck. Gateway gave me the choice to wait on my truck or they could call or text me once their finished with my truck. I left. When I got there they said only two tires were available for that day but ordered two more to be installed tomorrow. When I returned the next day they were ready for me. Got my truck done in great time.My boyfriend had the time to installed new brakes on my truck but one of the lugnuts were put on to tightly. He called Gateway and they said they would replace the problem to bring my truck back in. This time I waited and it was finished in no time at all.All in all they do a wonderful job and stand by their warranty. So if you want a great job and in a great time frame, go to Gateway. Thanks, Wendy

Gateway Tire is a perfect place to drop your car off and pick it up later they did a great job and did everything I asked them to do and it's NOT at a unbearable price I give him five stars.

I called to get a price of a front end alignment and to make an appt. He gave me the price and stated that they don t do appointments. It s a first come, first serve which was fine. I came in and the guy says okay, we ll get you taken care of which to me means they re going to start it then. Two hours later I went to the desk to ask how much longer it would be because I had an appointment in 20 minutes. They hadn t even looked at my car! I was livid and politely told them to just cancel it because I had to leave. Upon leaving, one lady had been there for over 4 hours! Not sure what she was having done. I understand it s not appt based but if they d have told me at the beginning how long it would be, at least I could have decided if that would work and not gotten mad. I went to another tire place who got me in and out without a long wait. They don t offer anything more or better than the next tire shop so I won t be back.

These guys work extremely hard getting service orders in and out. My wait time getting tires rotated on a busy day is never over an hour.

I ve never had a bad experience here and have bringing my vehicles in for at least the last 5 years. Some days there is a wait and other days they get me in and out quickly but they always set the expectation of time when I talk with the guys at the front desk. Highly recommend them.

I m beyond happy with this place! I had a nail in my tire (on top of some bad dry rotting) and they got both of my back tires replaced in the span of 30 mins or less, despite being a little busy. The ride home was 10x smoother and better!

I got an estimate on my 2007 Suburban today. Tomorrow I'll be getting a front end alignment, some tire pressure sensors replaced, two new Michelin tires on the front (due to a very poorly done alignment from a different shop), and repairing a flat rear tire. It's going to be quite a day and quite a bill. But the guys at Gateway do good work and stand behind what they do. This should fix me up for another long stretch of driving an aging, high mileage truck. It's still SO much cheaper than making payments on a new one. I highly recommend using Gateway Tire!

These guys took great care of me and had my new tires mounted and balanced quickly as possible with nitrogen placed inside instead of air to help the longevity of my new rubber. I also like that they will mount tires bought online. There are to many shops that turn away money because you didn t buy the tires directly from them and if I m not correct I believe that these guys deal with TireRack so you can still buy online and have them shipped to this shop for installation.

Honestly the biggest mistake I made was buying my tires here. Every single time I come in they either miss something, don't do as requested, etc. My second biggest complaint is that no matter what I am having done I am stuck there for 2 or 3 hours, watching other customers somehow manage to get right in and out. I also don't understand how your hours are until 5:30 pm M-F and 12:00 pm on Saturday, but as a business you can start turning people away a couple hours before close. Find it pretty hard to believe their corporate offices and owners know this is happening. I understand some services take some time, but everything from a simple tire repair to a rotation and balance to getting an entire new set, etc. always taking more than 2 hours is ridiculous. Stuck here with this set of tires, but definitely will be going somewhere with better customer service for my next set. As I type this and sit and wait (for going on two hours now) the google listing shows them "less busy than usual"....

It took them three and a half hours from a little before 8:00 till a little after 11:00 to fix two holes in two different tires. I saw two people that came in an hour after me with the same problem, flat tires one had a nail, get their vehicles back 30 to 40 minutes before me. All of this without the employee giving me any indication that it would be a long wait, which considering all of the empty bays when I arrived was unexpected.Update: after all of that my front tire is still leaking air and come to find out a screw that was in it before I went was still in it. Meaning they didn't even bother to fix one of the two tires I went in to get fixed.

Terrible customer service and communication. . I took my car in at 7:00 am for new brakes. I called at 11:30 am and was told they had called me and left a message. I asked them what number they called and it was the wrong number. No problem. I gave them the correct number and waited for them to call me when my car was ready. At 4:30 pm, I called them again and asked if my car was ready. They said they had called me but again, I had not received any call. When I got there, I asked them what they had down as a contact number and AGAIN, it was the wrong number. A mistake once I can overlook but the same mistake 3 times????? Unacceptable. Also, they have the highest prices in town. Highest prices in town should at least come with some acceptable customer service. I got the impression they could care less if I ever came back. I won t be back.

I love taking my car into Gateway. Danny and Client always take really good care of me and my car when I need it to be serviced. They treat me like family and always take time to ask me how my day is going or check in with how my family is doing. They are very accommodating for pick up and drop off times and will let you know if they e found an issue that needs to be addressed before doing the work. Their new building is very nice! I highly recommend taking your car here for any tire or service needs.

I took my car here in October and then took it back in November both times because it was grinding and screeching they assured me they checked the brakes and it was not the brakes. In December it was so much worse, I took it to plaza tire on Johnson and they took the tires off and the inside was wrecked. I needed new brake pads, rotors, and calibers . It was completely unsafe to drive at that point. It s a miracle they hadn t went out at that point. How often do they not take the tires off and just glac and say oh it s not the brakes Something has to change with this place someone is going to die in an accident!

Great service! They actually brought me to the back on my last visit because there was an issue preventing me from rotating the tires, and they wanted to get my approval before fixing it. Although I didn't get it fixed that day, they were helpful in telling me what needed to be fixed and what it cost for it to be done. Of course the wait time is impacted due to the smaller facility, but they've been fast regardless. These are the guys you should trust!

Decent speed on service. They do a good job of explaining what they had to do. It's just slightly overpriced

Wonderful people, and fast service! On a recent trip home (to Alabama) from visiting family in Missouri, my husband and I encountered a pretty major tire issue. We were referred to Gateway Tire from Greg at Village Service Center in Cherokee Village, AR, about an hour away. Greg (who was wonderful as well!) graciously called ahead to Gateway to see if they had our make/model of tire in stock, and to let them know we were on our way.... and as soon as we got there, they basically had everything waiting on us. They replaced our bad tire with a new one (installed and balanced as well); and for under $100 and in less than an hour, we were back on the road home.We couldn't have asked for a better experience, given the fact that we basically had a tire blow-out many hours from home! Not what you want on a road trip! But given the circumstances, Village Service Center and Gateway Tire definitely helped to make the best possible outcome of a bad situation.Thank you, Gateway - my husband and I truly appreciate your help and quick service! Thanks again!-Danielle and Thomas

Service was prompt to get me started. Took 2 hours to fix a flat tire. I watched the guy working on it. Work 2 minutes talk 10 to 15 minutes. Another couple minutes patching the tire and walking off playing jokes with others. Then walked off and didn't see for 20 or 30 minutes. Finally got the lugnuts on.
