This is one of the last, if not THE last starter rebuild shops in Arkansas. They repair it right the first time every time. If your starter happens to be non repairable they offer a quality replacement at a fair price.

Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.I called around numerous places before being recommended to Bud's; I'm glad I was!Before replacing my alternator they looked to see if the old one could be repaired (to save me some money); it was damaged beyond repair, they called to inform me that it indeed needed a new one. Which, actually does save me in the long run, and the alternator has a year warranty.They had to wait til the next morning for the new alternator to be delivered. They also found that my axle was barely hanging on; it was dragging the ground! I learned that is dangerous, and could had potentially caused even more damage to the car.The alternator was replaced and the axle fixed in what I think was in a very timely manner, and I was back in my car by early afternoon. And, the car is running much more smoothly and better after having this round of repairs done on it.

These guys work quick. I dropped off my vehicle with them the evening before to get my alternator repaired because it completely quit on me, and they had it fixed and ready to go at about 2:00pm the next day. It only cost me about $160, and that's including tax and labor to get my alternator rebuilt. I think that is a fair price considering how quick they got me back on the road. I highly recommend them; they do good work and were very personable.

I had my alternator replaced a couple of months ago. My car sent a message saying service battery system. I called Clay and he told me to bring it in. On my way my car broke down and had to be towed. Bud's found that there was a part that went bad and didn't charge any fee's! At all! They covered the tow fee and was finished with repairs in 24 hours. Then apologized for my inconvenience. I am highly impressed with the integrity and how well they treated me. I would recommend them to anyone.

Took it there because the Ford place wanted to charge me $800.00 to replace alternator they checked it and it was good have something staying on and draining battery while truck is off lol

Buds is probably the oldest generator shop in Jonesboro. Although Bud passed several years back, the new crew has been there forever with minty years of experience. Fast, reliable service.
