I am writing this review to warn other future customers of Genesis Sports Automotive TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS BODY SHOP. They will lie to you, drive your vehicle and do a horrible job on your vehicle. I paid Genesis Sports Automotive $8,000 upfront to do a complete hail damage repair on my vehicle. I dropped my vehicle off on July 10, 2023 so they could start working on my truck. The owner of the shop said it would be ready in no longer than 2 weeks. Fast forward almost 2 months later (September) and lack of communication, multiple lies that it would be ready in a day I decided to check on my truck. As I m getting there I see my truck drive past me, when I confront him he comes up with multiple excuses on why they re using my truck one saying that he s moving it to another lot since their isn t enough space in their shop. When I finally see my truck I was stunned to see how bad my truck looked. There were dents all over my truck still, the part he painted was not the right color, he hit my front bumper, and to make it worse when I checked the mileage on my vehicle they put over 3,000 miles! 3,000! Yet again, when confronted all he did was lie and tell me that the vehicle wasn t ready and that s the reason my truck looked the way it did. When I requested him to refund me the money he denied and begged me to give him another chance to make things right. He said he would refund me the money if I wasn t satisfied with the work this time. Fast forward to October, me being the nice person that I am I decided to give him another chance when I shouldn t have. Once again, he said it would only take him a week to complete the job on my truck, fast forward the week comes by and he said he s not finished and that he would be done in a couple of days. He kept pushing the date back until finally after over a month I decided to go pick my vehicle up. When I get there I could see that the paint job and the body work was horrible. He didn t replace the hood or roof like we agreed, the body work looked wobbly and the paint had lots of bubbles. He also broke one of my side mirrors and lost the cover for my motor which I don t know why it was removed in the first place. Multiple things went missing from my truck, I could keep on going with what else was wrong with my vehicle. I asked for a refund and he told me he would give me his insurance policy. Now a month later he still hasn t given me a dime or his insurance policy. I ve been dealing with this for the last 6 months! This guy is a scammer and a liar. Don t trust him or pay him upfront because he will screw you over once he has the money! Not just coming from me but from other people that I ve talked to said they have similar issues with this guy!

They kept my 1994 truck for 4 days and when it was picked up it ran worse than it did before I dropped it off charged me $260 put plugs and plug wires on it when I told them 3 times it didn't need any because it had been less than 30 days since I had some put on it there was a half tank of fuel and was empty and they burned up the starter which cost over $200 yes they did get the EGR and Map Sensors working and it gets a little bit of better gas mileage but all in all by the time I get a new started for my truck I will be out around $500 was it worth $500 for them to get my EGR sensor and MAP sensor going NO IT WASN'T AT LEAST THEY COULD DO IS GIVE ME MY $260 BACK FOR THE STARTER THE SCREWED UP!!
