Top notch, honest shop. Had a noise coming from my wife's car (probable bad CV joint) and they recommended holding off as it should probably not be a catastrophic failure. They didn't charge me and 2000 miles later its still working.

Would not recommend this place. Shiesty people, and other than the girl that answered the phone one time, very hard to deal with. Took a car in and explained the two problems I was having (overheating and battery dying). Said they wouldn't work on the car until they fixed a tire that was going flat. I paid them to fix it and fix the issues causing the problems. Went to pick the car up, and the tire they said they fixed was flat and the battery was dead. Drove the car home, and it overheated.

I've used Chapmond's several times and they've always been right by me! When I was getting towed to the shop, even the driver said I was going to the best in town. They really are!

3 out of 4 issues I had with the vehicle I took to them were not addressed although they charged me for them. The major issue, battery constantly dying and needing jumped, was supposedly addressed but became worse after seeing them to the point of not being able to even jump the car although the battery had been replaced.Forrest was very friendly on the phone the one time he answered, but the other guy I dealt with the majority of the time was a rude JA. Although I had paid in full and made arrangements with the receptionist for pickup, he called me and asked, "Are you ever going to come pick up your car??" Not sure what his deal was, but he had a terrible attitude throughout the whole process.

These guys were quick to diagnose and repair (even near the holidays) and were friendly during visits. Prices are fair for the level of service. Recommended.

Had a great experience. They delivered much quicker than they had told me it would take, found all the issues and had them all replaced and running within just over 24 hours. Front desk staff explained problems thoroughly and made me feel very assured that my car was in great condition. Highly recommend them for your service or maintenance issues.Services: Brakes, Air conditioning

Personally, I want to thank Forrest and his team at Chapmond. They are honest people and they do genuinely care about helping you. They communicate everything and made sure I knew what my options are for my car. Out of all of my automotive shop experiences this was by far the best. Forrest and the staff were very friendly when I brought my car in because my AC wasn t working. They had it for 4-6 hours and quoted me $1,500 for a new expansion valve, compressor, and recharge. I went to a different mechanic to get a second opinion and they said the problem was a simple o-ring leak (which is a $2 part). They may be friendly and seemingly helpful, but they tried to sell me service and parts which were extremely costly and wholly unnecessary.

Highly recommend!!! I went to get a front wheel bearing replaced and they went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was fixed correctly. I was greeted immediately and taken very good care of. Everyone I encountered was respectful and I felt at ease the entire visit.

Vehicle towed in on Friday morning. Done on Monday afternoon. Repairs were done quicker than estimated and right on the estimated cost. My two kids and I are on vacation from FL and our ac went out. The staff here were top notch awesomeness! They got us in right away without an appointment. Knowing we were from outta town they gave us a ride to a local restaurant so we could eat while they repaired our vehicle. Picked us back up when we were finished with our meal. When we arrived back at their shop they were already on the test drive with repairs completed. The cost was more than fair. The service was an absolute blessing! Highest recommendation I could possibly give and then double it! Thank you so much for taking care of our family so far from home! We are grateful! 100% on every aspect of the entire experience! 10stars!!!

They have changed in a year, great service Feb 22, tried to tell me fan moror or resistor needed replaced when I returned 15 minutes after service $300+, my heater fan was not working. I had just replaced the resistor 3 weeks earlier and the symptoms are not what he described. He then said he had sent for a resistor from O'Reilly and would replace it at no cost. I watched thru shop window in office and the tech was in the right place to plug in the resistor. Svc tech tolm he had replaced it. I still have the problem i took it in for service. This is a very well run business. It's not an easy job, trust me. Their prices might seem a little high currently but it's not their fault since our government has given our tax money away to every other bum & country in the world. Maybe it's time for our community here in Hot Springs to create our own Gold & Silver backed currency so that we can get off of the soon to be worthless, inflated dollar. I'm okay bartering for things also. Either way my first experience was a good one. Keep up the good work. Thank You.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I went in to get my ac fixed said it was a high pressure hose had to wait a few days for the part to come in which was fine they got it hooked up and failed to test the ac system to make sure everything was working properly total cost 700$. Two days later ac went went out again bc they didn't test for any other problems just assumed it was fixed turns out the condenser had a pin hole size whole in it so had to take it back to spend another 600 bucks and not to mention the messed up a seal in it and waited for me.to bring it back to tell me it was there fault. This has cause a huge inconvenience due to lackadaisical work. And when asked him about not checking everything the first ti.e.he just threw out a bunch of answer to avoid the question like he knew I was gonna have to come.back for more repairs. 10 out of 10 I do not recommendService: Air conditioning

I keep returning to Chapmond's because they give consistently excellent service with good prices and knowledgeable people. I am always comfortable asking questions and it is nice that they explain different options for big repairs and they stand behind their work. They go out of their way to be helpful and give you the best solution to your specific car problem.Added bonus is how neat and clean their shop is.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning

They stand by the service. 3 times the electrical was messed up. Charged once but? Went to get front end work done was turned away. Called back when a tire company fixed it. They don't stand by their work. Talked to Forrest and he told me whatever I need contact himI will. Merry Christmas.

If you are having trouble locating someone to work on your car or truck,stop running around looking. Just go to Chapman's Auto repair for all your automotive maintenance and repairs.They do the job right for a fair price and they they will have you back on the road again. Honest and fair. They took care of us faster then we expected and they were reasonably priced. I live in benton but would more then likely drive out to hotsprings for quality service in the future.

Never go here,expensive. We towed vehicle here after they said could fix it kept it a week and they said they refused work on it, we had to tow back to the house at our expense. Said not worth working on well what right do they have to judge what it's worth. Fyi its paid for so I have no payments 2 I paid prior times we brought it here sorry bunch .wreckers not cheap they should have paid second towing!!!
