I have been a Truck driver for some time but NEVER had to deal with a business and an owner like this one. IF YOU HAVE DEEP POCKETS AND WANT TO SATISFY THE APPETITE OF A CROOK WITH A FRONT STORE- YOU FOUND HIM.The owner want to charge me 7.5 hrs at $150/hr for changing a Steering Rod which only has two joints to open and takes Less than 2 Hrs to replace it. After long unpleasant phone call he ended up charging me 4.5 hrs and added MISC and Environmental which came to over $100.All in all I ended up paying for this service $1,769.10 which included parts of $597.I was charged $90 for picking up the parts but added 1hrs to my bill for picking it up.Well, either charge me the pick up cost or the hour toPick it up. WHY BOTH?That is NOT expensive, THAT is GAUGING AND CRIMINAL, to say the least.The young mechanic he sent me(JACOB) was a very pleasant young man and did his job in ONE AND HALF HOUR. I helped him and had him use my Tools too. Should I charge MISC AND Environmental on my end too?This store is what gives a BAD name to our transportation industry.All I can say is - a CROOK is a CROOK regardless of age and this owner Qualifies for that name.That is my two sentences about this business.USE IT FOR YOUR OWN RISK!

I had a fuel pump power supply issue, Gustavo - Gus the mechanic found easier and cheaper solution for me. He put the wire str8 from my batteries to the fuel pump so that way I know it will run fine since I was in the rush didn't wanna wait for him to find where's the actual disconnection. Decent people, no attitude willing to work for and with you, not against you. Labor hour 105$ plus the material and 3% transaction fee if you're paying with card. More than fair.Thank you KD Truck people!

I called them for a roadside for the truck being down they showed up an hour later on the claim that they couldn't find my driver also charge me 45 minutes before I even called them for labor and it was a broken air line that took them three hours to do. They cheated me on my bill they added charges about disposable or environment and other stuff. I spoke to the mechanic and he said that all this charges is what the office tell him to do even if there is nothing to dispose off.

We had a truck broke down at midnight and this place was the only one that answered our call from at least 7 other places we called, the price was a little bit on the high end but its better than having a cheaper mechanic that would show up and not fix the problem and still charge a chunk of money, so we were glad we got our truck fixed at that time at night. Would recommend to other hard working truckers that need help get them back on the road.

This shop shows that small hometown cutomer care still exists. We had a DEF issue and warning lights on, David came straight out and hooked up the computer to my truck and found that the issue needed a new program that could take hours to download and update.David said they would gladly do the update but going down the road to the dealership would save me time and get us back on the road faster.Not very many places care about a driver losing money by being shut down longer than needed. I would recommend this shop to anyone and if I need any work done in this area I will definitely call them first.

I had been to three other shops(one of them was Cummins) prior to finding these people. They worked on my truck until night, came back and finished the next day before the holiday! I was able to make it home to my family, and my truck has been running great with no problems! If you can make it over there, you re in great hands. Great mechanics that you can count on and trust!! We called them to fix the air tank issue and they said they can replace the air tank with used tank from there shop after that they said they are not having the same size air tank so we guys will fix your air tank rather than buying new one, as it will cost less but when they fix it and put it back they made a bill of $985 which includes $735 as labor only.Part was just $30. Please don't call them for road side service David and his mechanic is very clever in making money.

Took them forever to tell me it s the transmission that it s bad then took forever to finish installing it after they did they told me clutch is bad sent them one took them a week to tell me after they have received it that it s not the right one came to hope AR took the one that it s not right brought them another one that was still not the right one drove to Dallas and got the right one the same day and still managed not to finish it I tell the following week and still charged me few thousands for labor that I shouldn t pay for when they didn t know how to put the XY shifter properly and now I had problems with my drive shaft due to yoke nut been lose and they would honor the job warranty telling me no he won t pay the shop that the truck is at now they might be good for small jobs but nothing major.Service: Transmission

My 40' diesel motor home radiator gave out overnight at a stopover in Hope, AR, far from home. The radiator must have been nearly empty, as it took about 8 gallons to satisfy the warning lights and drive it 3 miles to the shop. Not surprisingly, the core needed to be replaced. This is a side-mounted radiator cluster that includes a charge air cooler, transmission cooler and dash air condenser. Removing the radiator required the removal of a body panel and all of the above including supporting frame and securing the hydraulically-driven fans, which were now free floating - NOT a simple job by any stretch. Since radiators are made for the combination of engine and chassis, mine was not a stock item and had to be ordered from the OEM in Texas - and they had to fabricate one. K-D graciously allowed me to stay the week it took to get a radiator. When it arrived it did not have all the tapped bolt holes needed to attach the fan shrouds, so Julio had to do that job - very carefully. All I can say is that witnessing the expertise and teamwork of Jake and Julio and the crew inspired confidence in a situation that had put me a bit on edge. When I first arrived at K-D my initial impression was a lazy little backwater. Over the 10 days I spent there I came to see that it's more often a beehive of activity. I started to wonder if I was going to have to wait a while before I could continue my trip. But on the afternoon it was completed - ON TIME - AS PROMISED - I took it for a 30 minute drive up across town and up and down the interstate, then spent one more night to see what the morning would bring. As expected, one hose clamp needed adjustment due to the expansion and contraction (the morning temperature was in the low 40s, a good test). Once that was done and the coolant topped off, I was good to go. One final note - I had prepared myself for sticker shock - and was pleasantly surprised by the entirely reasonable cost - lower than a shop that might take advantage of someone in dire straits. I highly recommend the skilled and dependable service provided by K-D Truck & Trailer Repair. They were a godsend for this wayfaring stranger!

Be very careful... my breakaway cable wasn t working had to call them out to fix it... took them over 3 hours to find it and called out 2 technicians... it was. Tiny wire in the box.... they milked the clock and the first technician had no idea what he was doing... the second technician pulled up and found it and fixed it in 30 mins.... 320 something dollars to fix a tiny wire... you have got to be kidding me...

2019-01-16 A coolant leak developed on my truck when picking up in the area. These fine folks located the problem, fixed it and had me rolling again within an hour. If your tractor trailer has problems near Hope AR, give them a call to see if they can help you.

Had my truck have check engine light issues. They were able to diagnosis it and send it on its way. Very reasonable price. Definitely would use these guys again.

Had DPF issues on my Cascadia - they took the truck in got it fixed and even gave my driver a ride to and from the hotel - David was very helpfull. Would definitely recommend.

Don't go to this place the are very good to ripped you off big timeI don't have any parts in stock to have to go get it frum couple hundred miles away and they going to charge you for mileage for hours it's just unbelievable

Please do not go to them.not helpful could't figure out that was wrong with the truck for over a week.end up paying towing from their shop n paying them 3000$ for nothing.my sincere request to all in trucking business do not use them instead go somewhere else.please avoid them save your $$$$$$$ and time.....
