We had such an awesome experience here. This was our first time and we were so impressed with how neat and clean the property and rooms were. It exceeded our expectations. I saw some bad reviews so I wasn't sure what to expect. The prices are great and the staff and residents in the area were so nice and welcoming. This will be our new favorite place. The views are amazing, the resort is quiet and peaceful, and you can't beat the fishing! They have fishing tours and boats to rent. What more could you ask for for a weekend getaway!

Awful. Will not be back. There was so much potential, and looks like it used to be wonderful. I was told that it was bought not too long ago; I m guessing the current owners have really let it go. No water pressure, moldy showers, hair in the tub, only decaf coffee in the whole resort, pancake flat pillows so it s been several years since they ve been replaced, no shampoo in the whole resort, no hair dryer, broken plates, etc. absolutely terrible! We ended up spending an extra $150 at Walmart to compensate for their shortcomings.

Beware. Stayed less than a week. Booked and paid through Expedia. Never ate at their restaurant or stepped foot in their store but somehow had $1100 in charges to our room. My best guess, giving them the benefit of the doubt, is that someone charged things to our room number. Worst case is that they just added charges to rip us off. We won't be back and will actively warn people away. The charges are currently being disputed and I'll remove my review if it's resolved.

I have been twice now and very satisfied with both visits. Very beautiful view of the little red river with trout fishing access, clean quite atmosphere with friendly staff to answer any questions.Noteworthy details: No landline phones in rooms and not sure if they have wifi but in a place like this it's best to disconnect from technology and indulge in nature!

Horrible. Don t go. You ll regret it. Stayed in Sept 2023 for 4 days of misery. Beds were horrible. Wife got multiple flea bites sitting outside door. Restaurant never opened. Coffee pot in room but no coffee. Office staff not rude but unfriendly. Office not open until 8:00 a.m. and closes at 5. They ve messed up everything but the fish in the river!

The place is a bit run down. It appears as motel run by Indians appears.I understand that it has went through another ownership change recently so perhaps it will be properly maintained in the future.Noteworthy details: I would not recommend for children. No playground that I saw.Dangerously rundown dock adjacent to cabin 9 needs to be barricaded.

The little red river is as beautiful as any in the world. And if you re looking for a good time to catch some trout and just enjoy the outdoors. Lindsay s is a wonderful place to visit. They have some great cabins and the motel is very nice also. The guide services that they offer are absolutely amazing. The guys do an excellent job of explaining everything and making sure that you want for nothing while trying to fish. I always think that even if I don t catch any fish, it s OK, because the river is just that beautiful. But I usually don t have a problem with that. when, considering where to go on the little red river. I would highly recommend Lindsay s!

This review only pertains to the RV campground. We did not stay at the cabins or eat at the restaurant. Having said that, the place looks very nice. The grounds are well kept and the exterior of all the cabins look maintained and nice. The resort sits on a great location along the Little Red River and has a dock. The reason for the 3 star review is that the campground seems like an after thought. Sites are laid out poorly with sewer/water/electric hook ups in strange and odd locations. It looked like most sites were shared and very few had picnic tables or fire rings. We had reservations months in advance but decided not to stay. The lady at the front desk was very understanding and returned our deposit. While I can't recommend for campers everything else seems very nice.

Fishing resort, so don t expect high end bougie accommodations. Cabin we stayed in had great A/C during 100 degree weather. WiFi and cellular not good. But that river!!! Love the Tesla destination chargers. Been twice, will stay again.Noteworthy details: Right on the cold river which produces an amazing fog in the warm summer evenings and morning. LOVE the Tesla destination chargers.

We held our family reunion here several years in a row. The cabins were great. Access to the river, great fishing, and the restaurant cooked up our catch for us.I liked it so much, in fact, that I moved to Heber Springs and opened a business.

I love Lindsey s Resort. I cannot say enough about how clean everything was, and all that I needed was in my cabin. The grounds are beautiful, and the staff very professional and Knowledgeable about the area. Wonderful experience. I highly recommend Lindsey s. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was that I didn't eat at the restaurant there (it was closed for the holidays). It being closed wasn't an issue, though, because there are plenty of good places in town. I heard lots of locals say they have good steaks. I would have liked to eaten there

I was looking for a Father and Son fishing trip and after staying here I will never need to look any further either for myself or with family. Cabins rustic, clean, very well equipped/utensils, no stove but don't need got bbq with lid, river is very close and docks to fish from. Staff was very friendly and Hostess Teri and Rebecca, Guide "J", and Chef Tony were Exceptional in their skills. Being able to just relax on a seats provided porch in a quiet setting among trees was so good for the body, this place is it! They also provided really good coffee with maker. Pot O' Gold Restaurant was worth the wait.Rooms: We had a cabin with one room on each end, kitchenin middle. Liked the layout due to snoring, very quiet and peaceful. I had everything to cook with, whole place was clean, had HOT water, large fridge, central air/heat, even things to clean with. Rooms are good size.Nearby activities: Try the local restaurants like Montezuma's Mexican and Josephines.

Was an ok experience. The rooms are nice and clean and tidy. Everything you need in your cabin for what ever you need in a mini kitchen. No extra blankets though. The staff at the front office kind of reminded me of kids that their dad was making them work the weekend shift and did not seem to happy to be there. The staff could have been a little nicer. We did not eat at the on site restaurant but have heard it was good. We did not try it. Other than the staff seeming like they hated life it was an alright stay. Would do it again.

We had a great reunion at Lindsey's Resort. The family was able to get all of our cabins together overlooking the river to create a fantastic experience considering we came from 4 different states. The cabins were clean and well stocked with towels, linens, shower supplies and dish soap. There was no restriction on the air-conditioning like a lot of places. The restaurant is definitely worth visiting at least once with a good variety of beer, wine and well prepared food.Only complaints are not all the burners on any of our stoves worked so we had to delegate food items to different cabins and there was no hand soap.

Our cabin was hot. The air wasn't working. We arrived after hours. Next day we notified staff. They sent someone and we were out for several hours and came back to a hot room. When we notified them a 2nd time they seemed frustrated with us. After more visits from staff who told us, air was down as far as it would go and fan was as high as it would go we had to say and it's still not working to young man. Office sent another staff to verify that it was NOT working. We suggested moving us to another room which they finally did and things were fine on 2nd night. Office closes at 6p.

Ran into the owner when we missed our turn for a different campground. BEST mistake ever! He gave us an option to drive to his resort to turn our RV around and was not pushy nor did he expect us to stay at his place - but when we drove in we changed our plans! It is a beautiful and well maintained RV park with cabins and a pool alongside the beautiful river! Great gift shop. Has a restaurant on the weekends. Overall, loved staying there!

Great cabin. Location perfect. Friendly older lady in the shop. Wish I could remember her name. Young employees could learn alot from her. The boating and fishing doc needs a major cleaning. As far as the cabin no oven so toaster would be nice. The floors left our feet dirty from day one . Not something that would keep me from going back. It is a beautiful location. The price was reasonable.Rooms: Pillows uncomfortable. Can't please everyone. Nice soft towels. I felt the bed was comfortable. Small TV on the wall would be nice in one of the bedrooms. If you take kids with one TV it can be an issue. Hot water was plentiful. Bathroom was very clean.Nearby activities: Several surrounding places to walk, hike, fish. Not far from town. Friendly local people. They were very helpful on trout fishing and willing to share information.Walkability: Great place to walk. Pet friendly.Food & drinks: Restaurant on site but only open 2 nights a week. Bring your own or go to town for a meal. A grill is provided.

The "pot o' gold" restaurant is fantastic. The whiskey beer onion rings are a must. Service is attentive and sharp. Cocktails are outstanding. The mason jar margarita is particularly great. Strong recommend. The fishing guides are excellent. We caught a lot of fish even with cold wet weather. Great family vacation.Rv hook-ups we're excellent. Pull through spots were spacious with easy access.

Step broke when I was walking out. Got home was charged $150 excessive cleaning fee for taking 3 bags of garbage 2 of which were all tied up and ready to go. I guess because I left a gallon of unopened milk of which it told the desk upon check out in case restaurant could use it and a bag of charcoal on the front porch for next guest ( thought I would be nice). I was then laughed at when I asked about if I need to go to Dr after twisting my ankle going through bottom step. Til then it was great. Never in my life have been charged this or was it disclosed on website.Nearby activities: Fishing and hiking

My family and I were so excited to stay at Lindsey's based off the glowing reviews and pictures. While our room was clean and the scenery was breathtaking, the service we received did not match. The front desk staff seemed bothered that we asked them a question about the resturant, as they were all on their phones. When checking out our final morning, the employee at the desk just seemed cold, and frankly annoyed. Didn't ask how our stay was, just said "what room"? It just didn't seem very hospitable or welcoming.

We had a great time. Food was good, room was nicer than I expected. The motel roo.s are nice. I had a double bed and there is a small kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. Small dining area. The cabins were very nice as well. Basically a 2 bedroom house. They do have different size cabins. I can only speak for the 2 bedroom that I saw. Restaurant is a little pricey, but fantastic food!
