Great few days at the lake. It was a very clean park and I especially liked that there were life jackets scattered around the edges of the water.

This is the worst marina on the water. We elected to have our boat winterized by the marina mechanic. He said he noticed a broken collar on the lower unit and suggested getting the boat to his shop to fix it. He had it in his shop for 6 months. When we got the boat back, it was extremely filthy although he said it was kept inside. It had pine needles and gravel in it. Also, first time after getting it back, it overheated and had severe issues. The mechanic tried to fix it but it kept getting worse. He told him we would take it elsewhere and we took it back home to our mechanic and he was able to fix it with no problem. Through this, we ended up discovering major damage that the mechanic did to our boat. When I addressed this with the marina s owner and management, we were confronted with gaslighting and childish behavior. My family and I were beside ourselves. My family has been loyal customers to the marina for 40 years. The manager and the owner were extremely rude each time we reached out for assistance. We ended up sending them the bill for the repairs since the damage was done by their mechanic and they were doing nothing to help and they just sent a non-renewal of our slip to us in response. We later found out that the owner and mechanic are related and the owner was covering for the mechanic. We moved to Eden Isle Marina and couldn t be happier. The care they show for their customers is certainly at another level!

We rented 2 pontoons and made a day off the lake. The deck hands were very friendly and were great to help us and exchange towable toys, friendly people definitely recommend.

I had a blast with my boyfriend. We jumped off the cliffs and enjoyed the cool temp.of the water. There are some waves from passing boats but they are always away. There is also swimming area more kid friendly as well.

Clean swimming water at different depths so there is a "pool" for everyone in the family. Nice picnic areas and as a plus you can rent a boat there and enjoy the lake even more!

Loved our experience here! We got a boat and a tube all day for a relatively low price. They even have a gift shop with cute little "Life is better at the lake" t-shirts.

We have had a great time all week long at the camp ground, swimming areas, and we also rented a bigger pontoon boat while we had other family in town for the weekend. Very reasonable rates, great helpers at the dock, seemed like pretty reasonable gas prices at the dock. Highly recommend this area and the boat rental services. The lake itself is absolutely wonderful. Very clean, very clear, not overcrowded. Fun to boat and swim.

DO NOT use Dam Site Marina's mechanic service at Greers Ferry Lake if you keep a boat there. Boat owners be warned. Ongoing horror story with our boat. We lease a slip from dam site marina in Heber Springs, AR. Last summer, 2021, our boat did great. During the winterization service through Dam Site Marina, the mechanic mentioned a broken piece on our lower unit that should be fixed. We authorized him to do it. After the boat was in his shop for 8 months we get the boat back to see that a tear in captains seat that wasn't there before it went to his shop, trim guage no longer works and boat now overheating. He also said the boat was stored inside but it was full of pine needles and pollen. After much troubleshooting throughout the entire summer of 2022 the mechanic finally gave up as the overheating got worse and he suggested that we either try to get a whole new motor or attempt to trade it in and not tell the dealership that its overheating (major red flag). They also left the thermostat just sitting on top of the engine not installed. after missing the entire 2022 boating season where we had to pay the marina to rent one of their boats we decided to take our boat to a different mechanic for a second opinion. The new mechanic fixed the boat in 1 week replacing a $350 part that was broken while in the shop of the dam site marina. It now runs like new. The mechanic the dam site uses to service all the boats there is terrible and I wouldn't allow them within 100 feet of your boat.

Was there last weekend and rented their largest pontoon boat for the day. Had a great day and so much fun on the lake. Brought the boat back and said we had damaged a door. The door hadn t worked the entire day. The frame and hinges were bent and stripping was coming off from the time we stepped on the boat. The young men working there were a little condescending telling me of a scenario of how this happened. With the small size of the passengers on the boat it was impossible for us to have done. I asked to speak to the owner and they said I couldn t. They called her right beside me and charged me $200 for damage already done to the boat. My husband and I treated the boat with so much respect and I was absolutely baffled. I just wonder how many others have been charged that fee for damage already done to the boat. We will be back to Greer s Ferry but never rent from that ridiculous marina again.

Recreation area can be very busy on weekends, but not as bad during the week. $5 fee for entry/day pass, includes parking. Accessible parking available. Picnic areas for grilling/eating or you can just picnic on the beach. Swimming areas roped off. Cliff diving available, but no lifeguards on duty. Free life vests provided, but are first come, first serve. Shaded areas can be hard to come by - consider an umbrella or sunscreen. Camp sites nearby, but I believe carry an additional camping fee. Park rangers on duty. Gates closed from 9pm to 9am. Pets not permitted.

Rented a boat today for $340+gas. We were scheduled from 9 am 1pm. By the time the deckhand loaded us up and explained everything it was 9:40am. We jokingly asked if we could stay out later since it took so long. To our surprise the deckhand hand agreed and we were told we could stay out until 2pm. We had a great time. I even called trying to extend our time to 3pm and was told it was booked. We headed back and were in the marina by 2pm. To our surprise they slapped us with an extra $300 bill added to out bill which was already $380. They charged us per minute for the extra hour the deckhand promised us. All 5 of the people on board with me were trying to tell the manager. I asked the lady to please call the deckhand and ask him. Well she did and the deckhand absolutely lied. Please be aware when renting from this company. If you are promised extra time please get it in writing. I will dispute the extra $300 charge, but I'm sure they will eventually get their money because I did sign a contract. I rented a boat from Heber springs marina a few days prior for 1/3 of the cost and no issues. I would definitely recommend them.

The front desk were all very polite. The guy that sent us on our way and helped us get started was great to work with. The whole trip turned when I returned. I told the guys coming toward the boat that we came back an hour early. One of the guys said with a smart tone that we were an hour late. When I began to tell him that I paid for 4 hours he said well the paper work says you were to be back at 4:15. I paid till 6:15 but it was now 5:15. It was in an accusation and smartellic tone. So I began to try and explain what happened at the front desk when we checked in. I told him that the girl up front that I dealt with had to ask a black girl if we could do four hours. I was just describing the girl and did not mean it in a racial tone. (I just got married and had a black friend perform the ceremony. So I would never say something against someone to mean a racial tone). He says to me Don t talk like that... . He did not listen to why I said what I said. He was accusing me of being late and now accusing me of saying something racial. I tried to deal nicely but when he could not explain what I said I sorta of let the kid have it. He didn t need to talk down or make accusations to a customer When I asked his name to report him he would not give me his name. He just kept saying I m not causing a scene. I will be calling and talking to a manager. It turned a great trip into a bad experience. I deal with customers daily in sales and go out of my way to serve and understand them.I talked to John the manager and he said that dock worker was not going to be with them. That they had some issues with him. John made it right and I do appreciate it. I changed the review to a 5 star.

Nice clean and supervised beach. The park rangers we're always readly available. Lots of people were there jumping off the bluffs, swimming, and walking the strip. Road my mountain bike around the area a bit. I don't know think dogs are allowed at least on the designated swimming beach. There were many at the pavilion that my group rented just about 50 yards from the site.

I ve been calling for weeks trying to rent a pontoon boat for the afternoon and each time getting that response of we haven t filled out early slots yet. Finally someone took my information down and told me they would call me when an afternoons slot because available, probably two weeks ago now. I finally called them back today to check on availability and low and behold they have NOTHING available! That s some excellent customer service and follow through on their part. I would not recommend them to anyone.P.S. The response to my review in and of itself is unprofessional and once again proves my point. We were not angry at any point but upset. After calling multiple times and then having a person from the Marina say they would call us when afternoon rentals became and option and they did not. That is not good customer service. When you say you are going to do something as a business you should do it. That s why you are getting a bad review and now your attitude and lack of professionalism in your response.

Rented a boat about a month ago and had an amazing time. We had the boat for 10 hours and it was worth every penny. Going back this weekend for a 4 hour rental for my sons birthday and we can't wait to get there. Love this place.

We rented a party barge from Dam Site Marina on a sudden whim on a 100 degree day. Turned out to be the best whim ever! They made renting so quick and easy that we re going back today! Everyone was super nice and helpful and there were no hidden fees. Boat was perfect for us. It s the best way I ve found to beat the Arkansas summer heat!

The Lake is beautiful and clean. From where I live, it took me 2 hours but it was all worth it. You can station anywhere and anywhere there will be a tree above you for shade. For kids there is a little playground for them. Also there is Boat Rentals, All Rentals Require a Valid Driver's License and Credit Card Deposit. Must be at least 18 and have a Boater's Education License if born after 1985. Enjoy your trip! c:

Each and every time we go to the Dam Site Marina we are greeted by friendly faces. EVERYONE has a smile and help any way they can. The girls inside are just as helpful and it is always a joy to see the "dock dogs".

Staff was very helpful. We had a big family reunion so the 12-seat Bumblebee was perfect. We did tubing mostly, some skiing and wakeboard. The various coves of Greers Ferry Lake made it so that we could always find smooth water no matter the wind. Going constantly, yet used only 8 gallons of fuel.

I've rented boats on this lake, different marinas, for the last theee summers and this was the first time we've had poor service. I booked a boat with a 200hp motor a couple of months prior to our trip but was given a different boat because the top was broken off. The new boat had a 140hp and was told that there would be no change in price because the 140hp was just as fast as the 200hp. "Nothing we can do". No sympathy at all, just an attitude like hurry up and go so I can go back to hanging out. The other marinas have been great to work with in the past and I'll go back to the others next year.

This is a great place to dock your boat at Greers Ferry always a pretty quick in and out! The marina is pretty accessible and there is plenty of parking available, although you may have to walk a little ways if it's extremely crowded. This is one of my favorite lakes in Arkansas, there are parts of it that are so clear you can see down into the really deep water and other areas of it are so blue and almost ocean like! This is the lake I grew up on and I'm certain that I'll keep going here until I'm old and can't get around anymore lol.
