Dakota sent me home with a broken radiator neck after installing an alternator, Travis sent me home the next time with it still leaking. no opinions here. facts are they didn't do the job right twice in a row and almost cost me a lot of money if that leak wasn't found. it would have overheated, gasket would've eventually blown. they offered to fix it after the second time but at that point, as anyone would, i did not trust the quality or integrity of the shop. i included names for accountability. hopefully this helps them do better, if not, hopefully it helps your choice.

I had my car towed here after accident that left my car totaled. They were extremely understanding and were helpful with any questions or concerns. Staff were extremely attentive and respectful as well!

Very appreciative to Mack s Towing. Emergency Roadside Tow was available day before Christmas Eve. I didn t catch the drivers name, but very professional. Thanks to him for getting our box truck to a mechanic location.

Mack s did a great job on my Sierra 1500. Had the lifters replaced two years ago and truck is running great to this day with no problems. I take my truck and car here regularly for oil changes and have never had an issue. Thanks yall!

I m all about any business that makes my bestie grin from ear to ear behind the wheel of her newly purchased, gently used, beautifully maintained, and assuredly dependable vehicle - thank you Mack s Auto!! God willing - this vehicle will deliver my bestie and her family to all their dreams and responsibilities for a good, long time! If, God forbid, anything does go bad far too quickly - I m not terribly concerned; Mack s Auto has a reputation for fair business practices and is known for operating with integrity. Especially when it comes to overburdened mothers just looking for a vehicle to shuttle kids around and make it to appointments and get to work! Seriously, look for halos - cuz these dudes are angels!! Oh! And they re also ace auto repairmen - top mechanics and the like - but they don t price their repairs like those other shops that charge fees that would make a Pharisee blush! Nope, Mack s Auto is definitely a Godsend - I thank God for you and how happy you ve made my bestie! Thank you, Mack s Auto!!

Im rating my visit 5 stars. Honest, fair and friendly staff. Its no wonder why they stay busy. I'm out of state and got off the interstate after traveling 500miles because of a sound that I was concerned about.. I came in first thing in the morning and they took care of the problem ASAP. If I was a local this would be my "go to" shop. Highly recommended. Se habla espanol. Profesonal mechanicos en este taller. Trabajo limpo y nada caro por el trabajo echo

If you value your money or vehicle, do not take it to mack's. It's not really Macks anymore. Not only did they not fix my truck but damaged my paint. Left the strangest pile of trash under the hood. A large trash bag that almost ended up in the pulleys. AAnd tried to tell me it was already there when I brought it to them ..uh no ! And the opposum under the hood. Well that was from the 13 day stay outside...

These folks just fix cars. They aren't scam artists, they dont push you to repair other things and they just get you rolling again. Need a tow? They got that too. Mechanics are available to talk to about your problem and they help you understand. Always great pricing. I love this shop!

This happened many years ago (around 2012) and I'm posting because this still makes me mad to this day. I got my car towed by them because my car would not start at a gas station. This had happened a few times before, so I wanted them to look into it. Their response was that it started up fine for them and compared it to "would you go to the doctors if you weren't sick?" Refused to talk to me more about it when I stated it only happened sometimes and asked that they speak to my father about it. I was a 20 year old woman and they wanted to talk to my father over the phone about a car that wasn't his.Service: Car towing

The technician Travis was beyond helpful and answered every question I had, as we were working via phone for a company van. Would highly recommend their service to anyone in the area that needs a tow or work performed. Fair prices and phenomenal service customer service!

While my vehicle was not worth the cost of repairs this time, they have always been fair, honest and stood behind quality work. They took the time to answer my multitudes of questions. They even helped me find a solution to my current transportation problem. The ONLY local mechanics I take my vehicles to and I would absolutely, 100%, recommend them to anyone.

Took my Ford F150 to get the water pump looked at. An initial diagnoses only showed issues with the idler pulley and they called me and I told them that the water pump was leaking. They responded back shortly there after to let me know that the water pump was in fact bad and that my warranty would cover the water pump but not the idler pulley. I gave them permission to fix that and was quoted $145.20. I was told this repair would only take a couple of hours. I called back five hours later After still not hearing anything to be told that some hoses also needed to be replaced and that my price had never doubled to over $300. All of this without any notice to me. I show up and tell them my concern and they back off the price 18 bucks. This is the company that my employer uses and I am sure we will no longer be using them after hearing of this issue. I cannot and will not refer this place to anybody

Honest, trustworthy, dependable, affordable!!! I can t stress those 4 words enough!I wont go anywhere else in Fort Smith! I personally have used them for work on me and my daughters car more than once.If I ever move away (too far away) I will be disappointed! It s hard to trust someone not to charge you an arm and a leg. To fix what only needs to be fixed and to do good quality work!Great customer service all the way around! They re personable and have a great sense of humor (always cracking a joke)I would recommend Mack s to everyone! You won t be disappointed!They also have they re own towing service available. Convenient if you don t have another option.

My2007 ford f150 took it to them to have the cams and lifters changed because they were recommended by Jody's and 1600.00 later I have a truck that runs worse than when we dropped it off .

Don't know anything, they charged for something that wasn't supposed to be done and car ran way worse wen we got it back than wen dropped off. Simple fix from another mechanic that Mack's said they replaced, won't go back and advice to public don't take ur car there

My car had been at the mechanics for almost a month, came in to replace radiator, in process, fan assembly broke while trying to get radiator out, cost for parts and labor totaled 680. I drove 4 blocks and car overheated, and after many stops, a jump I made it home five mins from mechanics. Wrecker came and got my car to redo it still having issues, , new battery was suddenly old and car will not stay charged,, not fluids were added it seems like to me someone used my car while it was there for awhile. The owner Travis said there was a lil hole in the gasket, when that engine just went in feb2022. Now after 2700 in Feb and 680 in Sept 2022 for the radiator and a head gasket gets a hole in it ??? I hope someone reading this can help me, and I'm a 64 yes old woman and I feel taken advantage of. I haven't any money to buy another car.im on limited income.

Great experience! Yvette made sure to call to get permission before doing anything with the vehicle. They were upfront about issues and costs. Very reasonable prices and super friendly staff! I will only be taking my vehicle to Mack's for as long as I'm in Arkansas!!!

They are great!! Very Friendly, Great Customer Service, and reasonably priced. I had a bad experience at a big dealer service and made the decision to take my car to Macks instead and I'll never again go anywhere else.

I've been taking my cars to Mack's for 28 years. They are knowledgeable and honest. I've even taken cars in for repairs I thought they needed and Mack's would later call and tell me it was something minor and much less expensive. What other repair shop is that honest? Their prices are very fair as well. I've been sending friends and family to Mack's for decades!

Have been a customer for 38 years, have never disappointed me. Took my car to Dodge dealer in Northwest Arkansas and they said it needed 6500.00 in repairs and maintance and my car is 3 years old. Took it to Mack's and they found it did not need a thing. Will only use Mack's because they are honest and will only do something if needed. Many thanks to Ft. Smiths best car service center!

First bad review I ve ever posted!I went and talked to Mac and he did not help like he told the previous person in the review and that s why I posted this. He was rude, raised his voice, and told me the price is the price and I ll call around to determine what s fair. Im trying to attach the invoice. For a fuel filter, def fluid, and oil change/tire rotations, he changed me $402 then I went to Orr Chevrolet and they said it would run around $260 and I went to another mechanic shop and which quoted around $200!Service: Oil change

I have been using Mack's for 25+ years. I try do a lot of mechanic work myself, but if the car does not have a warranty and I don't have the time or tools to do the work I always go to Mack's. Always been fair to me. Towing service is great (I have had to use it a few too many times due to broke vehicles). Mack, Dave, Evette, and the mechanics have always treated me well!!! Can't recommend enough.

The rear end went out in our truck Saturday evening at the I-40/540 interchange in the middle of the bridge.We were towing a small trailer as well. My husband called for a state trooper and Mack's Towing. Travis got to us in less than 20 minutes (he was at the shop still) He got our truck loaded,and hooked our trailer up to the wrecker. Brought us & our trailer home,and had it back to us in 2 days. I know it may not always be that way, everyone's vehicle is different. BUT we are so happy to have our truck back., running as it should!!

Always excellent professional service. Best mechanics in town. I won't take My vehicles any where else and I am paranoid whom is under my hood. They are 100% trust worthy, fair, and honest NO up charges or false diagnoses to get your money. They fix it right the first time.

Mack's Auto Center has a local reputation for good service. This is well established among locals, and as they are located just a quick walk from my workplace, I decided to give them a try.I arrived early, around 7:10 am, told the guys at the counter what was needed, handed over my keys and went to work.At 12:15 I receive a call asking me how to crank my car. Fair question; it's older and, as I told them, the fuel pump needed to be replaced because fuel wasn't priming properly. I answer the question, and tell them to give me a ring if they have any problems or questions.3 hours later, I receive another call telling me that they haven't even moved the car to begin working because they can't crank the car. When I arrive after work at 3:30, I try cranking the car and it cranks on just the third attempt.It's at this point that I realize that, at the very least, the people on duty either don't know how to work on a car, or they simply don't care to get my money.The point of this review: Wal-Mart will probably have better skilled mechanics. Avoid this place.

Almost 1 yr agoThey replaced my valve cover gasket on my car that has a supercharge in it, on a car I sold to a coworker, and she says it still running great. Reasonably priced and excellent work. I am planning on taking my Tahoe there for brakes after tax time.
