2 stars.I wished I took the car elsewhere.I came by first month of 2023, a Servomotor replacement, J quoted me, I agreed. It took couple weeks to fix it and then he called to say that the part is in but could not get it to work!? I said okay, well look into it some more then two weeks went by.Had to tow it back and forth to BMW, weeks went by again when I got it to him and still he charged me to fix that one thing that he could not get it to work (servomotor) before I had to do towing due to a connection?? He screwed up somewhere and I paid out of pocket every time. Unbelievable. I subtracted 3 stars because of the long wait times, using glue for the valve cover gasket, and an alternator cable that was crimped poorly and not at least guaranteed or liability.Tl;dr Servomotor replacement job turned into a starter replacement also at dealer and had to be returned to Koch because of him using a VDO motor, not genuine BMW part, and the last months of 2023 had crank no start issues because Koch Auto Repair s crimping on a cable.

Absolute expert on hard to repair imports. The BMW engine in my mini is a bugger. They do great work. Slow turnaround though. And not the best on two-way communication.

I put a new battery in my 2013 outback. It wasnt running smoothly after that. Took it to koch and he told me to let it idle for 15 minutes to reset everything. I did and it ran smoothly. It was the only place that I took my volkswagons that I owned in the past. With this car that I just purchased I will be using them again if needed.

dropped the car off with plenty of problems and after 3 months the land rover was not fixed. the first day we discussed the plan and thought everything was clear. 5 weeks later we checked in and he said i wasn t sure if you still wanted me to work on it. what?? he never bothered to call. complete waste of time. charged for $1500 for valve cover gaskets and had to tow home. they do not respect their customers time nor will they contact you about anything.Service: Auto maintenance

EXCELLENT!!!! HAPPY CUSTOMER!!Traveling and having continued issue with my Mercedes. Stopped by another repair shop and they referred me to Koch. Within minutes owner diagnosed my issue. Friendly...listened..very pleasant. Great family business. Fair price. When I picked my car up.. the floormats were vacuumed and the car was running and heated on a cold morning!!!

My 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX has been my pride and joy since 05. It went in with a knock. They had it for 8-10 weeks and it came out with a knock- plus more! Problems that had NEVER existed began immediately after getting it out. The handling was pathetic, the clutch and gear shift were so loose you could watch the shifter bounce from 1st to 5th position while idling. Couldn't tell if it was in 1st/3rd or 2nd/4th until you accelerated. The check engine light came on within 8 hours of driving it home. If you're in love with your car and want quality work done, or expect a shop to return your vehicle in a working condition, I would think twice before choosing this one. It would've been worth taking it out of town before paying for the shade tree service I got here.

Bmw has been sitting at this shop for 7-8 weeks and when i called i was told oh yeah we ll put it back on the schedule for later this week . Why has it not been on the schedule for the past 2 months? Very unprofessional, never answers the phone, and job will be completed on THEIR time.

Always honest and helpful,I have taken three BMWs one Mercedes and now I have a Lexus that I take to Koch, they are honest

Had an issue with a Land Rover that was going to be a gift for my daughters birthday. He managed to quickly diagnose and repair the issue and had it back before her birthday. Highly recommend for foreign vehicles.

Jerry Koch is amazing and knows his stuff! He is very informative on what s going on with your vehicle, reasonably priced and quick at what he does! This is the place to take your foreign vehicles by far!! Thank you Jerry for your amazing work!

Terrible service. Car sat there for 4 weeks. Tried to charge 160 dollars for him just to look at it. Tell us what he "thought" was wrong. And then says he doesn't do electrical work.

If you own an import Benz, BMW only shop i trust in the fort . they do good work and stand by it.

it was a frustrating 6 week experience. Almost $2,000 for band aid like work. Koch summed it all up and said "well what do ya expect, its a foreign car?!

Very down to earth and straightforward. They will shoot you straight as far as what the problems are and will look for a means of getting them fixed that works for both parties.If you have an import, this is the place to go.
