DO NOT use this place - ESPECIALLY if you are female. They will overcharge you just because they can!! I called and asked the price of labor to replace my alternator. I was told that it would be $85. I had searched the part and knew that it would cost a little over $200. I scheduled the appointment for a Thursday. I was estimating the total cost to be a little over $300.I needed my vehicle fixed on Thursday so I dropped it off on Monday so that they would have it if they had time to work on it. They called me on Wednesday and told me it was ready - I was so excited.When I got there to pick it up the guy asked if I was worried about the total cost - I said yes. He said $491. (quite a bit more than what I estimated). I said wow, how much was the alternator? He said it was $208. He said he also replaced the serpentine belt - it was all cracked and needed to be replaced. I asked the cost of that part - it was $35.The serpentine belt had to be removed to replace the alternator anyway - they charged me an additional $115 in labor to replace it with a new one. I had taken my vehicle in for an alignment to another place of business 2 weeks before. They checked everything over on the vehicle and said that EVERYTHING looked good - I am thinking they would have noticed a cracked serpentine belt.I did not receive a call asking if they should do more work than what I had requested. When I said, that is quite a bit more than what I was quoted, the guy just laughed and said, at least we got it done earlier because you said you needed it for Thursday!I hope this saves some one else from being overcharged - I do NOT understand why mechanics take advantage of women!!!!! I wish I could have fought it but I needed my vehicle and felt that I had no other choice.

I am SO glad i finally took my car to these guys! I had been having all my work done (oil changes and tires, etc) at Walmart, but it took them FOREVER! The last time they put on new tires it took over 3 hours. In total, Elkins Quik Lube has done 2 oil changes, tire rotation, and today 5 tires mounted and balanced today. I just showed up out of the blue, didn't call them...to have all tires and a new tire for the spare mounted. I waited MAYBE 15 minutes before they started on my car. 35 minutes later they were done! I actually had 2 jounce bumpers that when i replaced the springs, i could not get in, they were just laying there. After they rotated my tires i got looking when i got home and the jounce bumpers were installed.....they did this for free and without me asking them to do it! My only regret is i didn't come here sooner!

This place deserves negative stars because of the guy Dewight There was a problem with the front passenger side of my car so I decided to go there big mistake I told him exactly what happened to it and where the problem was he said he would be able to fix it in a couple weeks so I brought it back and he called about 4 hours later to tell me it was ready it cost me $368 and he said he put in a new rear hub assembly WHAT! that had nothing to do with the front passenger side I don't even know for sure that he did that because it definitely didn't need it and it did nothing to fix the problem he totally ripped me off on purpose I wouldn't even get an oil change there now terrible placeService: Steering & suspension repair

I was having trouble getting my car to start and deduced that it was either the battery or the alternator. Dwight diagnosed the problem as an almost dead battery. A lot of other mechanics might have tried to convince me of a faulty alternator or some other explanation for my trouble but Dwight was honest enough to give me a straight answer. I've taken both of my vehicles here a couple of times. Great service and reasonable prices. Haven't had them do any major repairs yet but will definitely give them a try when I need them done.

They worked on my mom's car it wasn't running right so they said it needs a tune up it cost $ 2oo drove it home was not running right and could Smell gash took it back And he said the fuel pump pulls out cost another $600 Not very happy They should have fixed it the 1st time

Everytime I go to Elkins Quik Lube they certainly live up to their name. Fast, friendly and a great job. I am a dyi guy but they can get it done before i could get everything ready to do it. Great value to me!

Went in for a low tire and they said i had 2 bad tires and they tried to pressure me to buy a whole set, but like most people I am on a budget. So I asked them if they had any good used tires they said yes we will find you the best, they wouldn't allow me to view the tires so I had no idea what I was getting into. They changed me $48 each for these used tires that only last me about 200 miles before they constantly started leaking. I got tired of continuously airing them up so I took them to a different place where I was told that the tires had very soft spots in the tires and those soft spots had slow leaks in them. So I had them dismounted and we discovered that the soft spots were actually pre-existing holes about the size of nickels that were patched with patches barely fitting over the holes. Both tires had numerous patches all over inside the tires. One had 6 patches and the other had 5 patches. This is what causes accidents and I wouldn't ever refer anyone to go there, I for one won't ever give them the time or day.My advice is to go to Amigo Tires in Springdale to get them fixed or replaced. At least you aren't sold a tire that could get you killed.
