Nick is so helpful and professional and did a great job finding, diagnosing and fixing an electrical problem with my Chevy Colorado, as well as fixing stuff that past mechanics had messed up on. Highly recommend his work!

My daughter's brake pads were worn out(metal to metal). I was really apprehensive about having her car worked on 6 hours away from home. One of her friends recommended AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care. Let me tell you that if you have kids in the Fayetteville area that need their car worked on don't hesitate to send them to Nick @ AAMCO. He's a first class guy who tells me he likes to take care of the kids that come in so hopefully someone will take care of his own kids in the same way when he's not with them. The world needs more people like Nick!!!!Service: Brakes

I was impressed with their service. They are really busy, but they got it in a bit sooner than they told me they would and they saved me more than a thousand dollars on a rebuilt transmission relative to the certified one from the Chevy dealer. Time will tell whether I should have spent the extra cheddar to get the 100,000 mile warranty instead of the 18,000 mile warranty. Crossing my fingers!

Picked my jeep up & it was covered in mud. I had just washed it before taking it there. The guy denied knowing anything about it. Said someone must have drove by and slung mud on it seriously? Had a full tank they used half of it, and 30 miles on it. Had it for 2 weeks just to clean sensors? You should be able to trust your vehicle will be taken care of this was not okay.Service: Transmission

Shout out to Nick AND the ENTIRE crew! Expecting the worst, I received the best! They don't throw money at the problem, they figure it out and fix it ,,, even if it doesn't require a transmission! I was looking for a trustworthy local mechanic for some simple brake repair. Was charged 4 hours labor after completing the work in 2.5 hours and charged more than $200 over quoted price. I'm still looking for a trustworthy mechanic. Not trustworthy in my experience.

Let me start by saying that I did not get any work done here but Nick, the gentleman in charge, was very nice. My son had transmission trouble while visiting his girlfriend. Although it took a few days to inspect the car, they did so for free. They even stored it far a day and a half until I could drive to pick it up.

Nick was such a pleasure to work with! Kept me in the loop on my Jeep's repairs, and helped me through any payment options, while getting my Lucille back to me in much better condition than she came in. (ha) Quality work on the transmission rebuild, and great customer service.

Very pleased with the service. First time here. Our Sorento was shifting hard, so took it in. Initial inspection and diagnostics was free! Walked us through the issue and two options, suggesting the lesser cost fix should be sufficient (despite what the manufacturer recommended). Scheduled a time, dropped it off, picked it up at the end of the day. Fixed as expected, billed as quoted. So far so good! Very friendly and respectful to both me and my wife. Will return in the future if needed.

Got a car inspection done at this location. (DrJones) the car Dr. Went above and beyond to help with all the details. There was a mix up in the paperwork so I had to return the next day. Not only did his team drop what they were doing and help me correct it. They also had me pulling out of there completely confident in there work,and the safety of my vehicle. I will be back and would highly recommend there services!!

Had some problems with my truck. They are fast and always been 100%... Alot of times mechanics see a female coming and a simple 50.00 part turns into 400.00. Not here, I refuse to take my truck anywhere else and he's always super busy and blessed.. I thank God I found them because they are the ONLY ones I know who treat you like family.

Good job and only took 4 days. Up date transmissions is broken again been 2 month's. We will see how this time goes. Hope I'm not charged again. I have warranty. All went well not transmission was brakes locked up. They towed and fixed it. No tow charge. I'm very .update brakes switch fixed but day later. Heater controls went out. A wire plugin was left unhooked. They say didn't work in that area. U make the call. I'm not convinced. Was a wet relay in rear of car. It affected brakes was not the brake switch so bought an unneeded part. All fixed now just took it to someone who took time and researched the problem.

Do not go to this shop. They buy parts to fix the problem but don't even put the parts on. They was suppose to fix my brakes but not even two months down the road they are back where they begin before I took it to this shop. they didnt fix the adjusters for my drum breaks even thought they had all the parts sitting in a box they gave me when I picked the van up. They had my work van for over a week. And they charged for stuff they said they did but didn't. 700 dollars for a rotor brake pads and two drums yeah right. Total rip off. Now I have to find a shop that knows what they are doing to fix the problem that was supposed to be fixed in the first place.

Seems like a good group of auto mechanics and a reliable/knowledgeable owner to me. It's nice to find mechanics with the "mechanic mind"; good at diagnosing the issue and enjoying/taking pride in fixing it. Down to earth, honest feel to the place as well as professional and experienced. I'll be back when my 07 4runner needs more help.

Not knowing anything about transmissions could have cost me a lot of money at the wrong place. They found the problem to be unrelated to my transmission and fixed it anyway! Fair pricing and honest work. You can send your family and friends here knowing they will not be taken advantage of.

Nick at Aamco was very easy to deal with. I had my car towed to this facility after I had broken down on the road. They diagnosed the exact problem and got me back on the road within 2 days. I take away 1 star because of the amount of markup they charge you for their parts. Other than that, pleasant experience.

AAMCO, Fayetteville in NW Arkansas is by far the BEST place to take your vehicle to for any type of mechanical repair. Nick, the manager, is so knowledgeable about all types of vehicles, as are his skilled mechanics. They are always so friendly and outgoing. They recently completed my car s 90,000-mile service in a timely manner at a very reasonable price. They always go the extra mile, rotating my tires, and returning my vehicle spotless and running smoothly. They easily earned 5 stars from me for the following: Friendly, Knowledgeable, Timely, Prices, Dependable, and Trustworthy. I choose AAMCO, Fayetteville, over any other shop or dealership!

Nick is someone that you know you can trust and was such a god send to me. I definitely recommend him to anyone having issues, that is looking for an honest place to have their vehicle checked out. I will always recommend him to anyone.

I sold a Honda Pilot to a gentleman (Patrick) for his son to use while at college in Fayetteville. Unfortunately, a short time after the purchase, the transmission had issues with shifting, even though I'd never had prior issues with the car. I made contact on Patrick's behalf trying to arrange for repair. Nick at the Fayetteville AAMCO offered to do it. His crew worked diligently to troubleshoot the problem. They ultimately replaced the entire transmission housing at no additional expense. This was not in his original quote and Nick honored the price he had given before the repairs began. After the repair, the car worked great.Nearly a year after the initial work, the Honda began having the same issue. Patrick took it back into the Fayetteville AAMCO. They replaced the wiring harness to the transmission under warranty, at no cost to Patrick. It is refreshing to find a business that will help when you're in a bind, then go above and beyond to make needed repairs. Nick has been exceptionally helpful in all of our dealings. I have only spoken with Nick over the phone since I live in Little Rock, but he does "the right thing." I even offered to pay for part of the repair, but he wouldn't accept payment. I appreciate his diligent work on repairing the Honda for Patrick. I greatly respect his ethical business practices. I highly recommend the services at the Fayetteville AAMCO. Took in our car to get our car fixed which was our first mistake. It not only took 2 weeks (to do a simple procedure) they didn t call us to tell us when even when we continuously called for updates, and 2 days after taking it back from them it broke down yet again. will never ever recommend to anyone

I use AAMCO regularly and they are always timely and polite, prices are excellent compared to many local competitors. I send all my friends and family here, even if they live in Fort Smith!
