We have been using this hotel since it opened and unfortunately this may be our last. The rooms are nice and clean and it's in a great location for our family visits, but the cost has become too high. Our recent visit resulted in a one night stay over $200 with all the fees and it's just not worth it. The restaurant is closed, the fitness center is closed, the internet is slow and the breakfast was very average. The lady running the breakfast buffet seemed put out when we asked for hot water to make some tea. Cutting amenities and raising prices is not a recipe for success. It's a shame, because we really liked this place when it first opened.

We were helped by susan at the front desk, she was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was our first time at fair field so she gave us some recommendations about popular destinations. Rooms were good and breakfast was good too. Overall stay was amazing.Would love to meet susan again so will stay at this hotel whenever we get a chance.

Love the front desk staff. They are so warm and welcoming. Enjoyed my room and all it's creature comforts too. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.Safety: Fairfield Bay as a whole feels very saveWalkability: Loved the ability to walk in safe areas and get to the conference room easily. Great trails in such a beautiful area.

Got into town around 10:00 pm on a Friday night tired and hungry. No place open in town to eat according to desk clerk. Had to buy overpriced snacks from hotel or starve (Hot Pockets - $4.00 each, bag of pretzels - $2.00, etc.). Internet didn't work during entire stay, gym was "out of order" also. A/C in room was so loud it woke us up every time it kicked on. Staff was polite and room was nice but that didn't offset the shortcomings previously mentioned. Won't ever stay there again.

Beautiful, clean hotel in nice area with very friendly staff! My son and I traveled from Houston for my brother's wedding, Parking is across the street, but can be safely navigated. We did not partake of the food or bar since we had other plans. We did have an electrical problem in our room and the front desk was very diligent and responsive. We will stay again when visiting relatives in the area.

If you don't want to read entire review, at least read final paragraph. And no we will not stay here again.Call ahead and see if they have large convention group staying, if yes and you're not part of it, good luck.Absolutely NO parking on site, period. I'd be very cautious with the four spots up front. They could be all considered "handicapable". And without getting into legal speak, it's fair to leave those for our handicapable folks. On to our stay.Hotel Staff: Excellent, very courteous. Appeared to be overworked.Hotel room: clean and tv didn't work and wifi is not reliable. They put us next to the stairwell, kinda weird for booking directly through them. Especially with the price tag of room. Their website lures you in... Good job!Value: we truly feel like a bad hand after three card monte. Feeling the scammed feel for what we paid. Not even closely worth anything near 100 or more a night. We paid north of $120/night after taxes and fees.Restaurant: couldn't figure out if it was open or closed on Friday. On Saturday it had a $5 cover charge to enter. (No tables)Breakfast: a grade below continental. Better off going down to the gas station (Jacks)Biggest 2 tips:1. choose a location to stay in FairfieldBay with at least a kitchenette or condo. Restaurant there and in town may or may not be open. If they're open good luck getting a table.2. EVERYWHERE we went around town asked if we were stay at the "Wyn" resort :) if so DISCOUNT! Only one place provided a discount for stay at Cobblestone and that was mini golf, which was ALOT of fun.Nearby activities: Walkable to Bowling and a couple restaurants.Safety: Absolutely NO parking on site.

The staff was extremely friendly. The hotel is clean and comfortable. I was impressed how cool the a/c kept the room. The suite included a nook that was perfect to put our pack n play for our daughter. The bayside restaurant on site was convenient and affordable. The complimentary breakfast offered both hot dishes alongside muffins, yogurt, cereal, apples & bananas. Just 10 minutes from the marina, we will definitely stay here again.

Even though we only stayed one night, we enjoyed everything about our stay. From the friendly front desk manager to the Bayside Restaurant was awesome! The rooms were nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. The food at the restaurant was delicious....one of the best steaks I've had in a while. Breakfast buffet was just as good! We will definitely stay here again!

This is our second stay at Cobblestone in Fairfield Bay and it was most enjoyable. The front desk staff are amazing ladies and made us feel so welcome. They are helpful in every way possible. We had recommended the hotel to other family members, so we had a total of 5 rooms on this visit. Sorry that the breakfast has changed and it is no reflection on the hotel stay at all. We stayed last October and had a delicious, well-stocked breakfast. This time it was most unorganized, selections were minimal and what was there was simply microwaved and not tasty at all.

I was traveling through Fairfield Bay on Thursday. The staff at Cobblestone Inn & Suites we beyond nice and helpful. I had recently had surgery and was not feeling well after a 500 mile trip. The folks at the bar / restaurant made me a hamburger and fries even after they were technically closed and brought it to my room. The entire place was clean and well cared for. I can't say enough good things about my stay at Cobblestone Inn & Suites. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

Wrong room on reservation. The clerk reluctantly corrected that to what was actually reserved. The clerk, while accommodating was very sarcastic with obvious attitude that we inconvenienced her by my having a service dog. Then tried to charge us a"pet fee". A service dog cannot be charged a pet fee by hotels/motels btw. Did have to sign a waiver of sorts "in case the dog did something to the room". I had no problem with signing that as my very highly trained Service Dog will never have an issue destroying anything. Also, no body towels in the bathroom just wash cloths and hand towels. Had to ask for that as well. The TV Channels were few and far between also. No information on surrounding restaurants and things to do. Thankfully, SUPER NICE employee came and offered us a binder of such information at our room.Handicap accessible room is questionable. The room itself was clean and amazingly accessible. The tub/shower was the one that was NOT accessible. Super narrow, shower curtain doesn't cover the bath bench so water soaks the floor making a fall hazard upon exiting the extremely tall side walls of the tub. The water pressure is very, very low as well. Handicap parking is ridiculously far from the entrance. We stayed for 2 days.Overall, aside from the negatives... it was clean, quiet and a clean smelling hotel. I would stay again, in a pinch for an overnight due to the immaculate cleanliness of the hotel but not as long as we did.

Where to start? The parking is horrible! Breakfast is poor! Tv is junk, if it comes in! Wifi is unbelievably horrible! Staff does not even know how to ring up a beverage and if they do, don't even ask for a receipt! That one is way over their head! It was easier to just eat the receipts than try and get one for company reimbursements! Clean rooms but by far the worst motel "as a whole" I've ever stayed in! Best thing about them is, this is the best one you get for miles! No competition to even want to improve!

While this place is a little odd, with some of the included amenities being off-site in different locations, it was still a great place to stay. The customer service and check-in was smooth and personable. The room and beds were very clean and comfortable. Also, the complimentary toiletries were some of the cutest we had ever seen.

Stayed here a few nights at a couple different times over the last couple weeks. Wonderful place. The rooms are clean and include your average midline hotel features. The breakfast is excellent. There is a fitness center and also a small laundromat area that was great when I needed a load washed. Only $3.50 to wash and dry. The coffee station was a nice feature on the lobby and was great at all hours! The staff is excellent, very friendly and quick to help. The restaurant staff was the same, excellent. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again! Thank you cobblestone inn and suites!

Pretty dang good honestly, pet friendly, (115lb German Rottweiler), free breakfast that's not bad at all, rooms are clean, staff is attentive, and accessible. I really enjoyed my stay here. (Pool is off property but their is 2 different ones you have access to, (one serves alcohol.)

We did not stay in the hotel but we did have dinner in the Restaurant. The Restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially our waiter Krisopher. The tuna was excellent and the wings were delicious. There is a great drink selection also. I would without a doubt recommend this place to anyone .

Nice and new. I made reservations thru booking.com. needed pet friendly reservations. Decided on this because of the pets and the restaurant. Arrived in late afternoon. Staff efficient. I got to my room with my 2 small fur babies and read thru the hotel amenities... it said additional $25 per pet! What! I did not mention my babies at check in and I was not asked about them either. So I went back down and spoke to the reservations desk again. I let her know I had 2 dogs and that there was NOTHING on booking.com that indicated I would be paying ADDITIONAL $50! I was told "just another $25" wow. That would have really made me rethink this reservation. But oh well lesson learned. We were glad to have a restaurant "that specialized in steak and seafood " ...nope. hamburgers. Chicken sandwiches. French fries or pizza rolls. Nothing fresh or green. We expected a breakfast buffet. Nope. "Cook didn't show up" they did recommend a restaurant down the road. They over promised and REALLY did NOT deliver.

This hotel is only 2 years old, very nice place to stay. The setting is awesome in Fairfield Bay with multiple activities to choose from (atvs, hiking trails, boating etc..). Super friendly staff and very clean rooms. The only glitch was a fire alarm that turned out to be false but no big deal. I'd rather have a false alarm that have it fail to alarm during a real fire.

Beautiful brand new hotel. Looks like it should be in Vail or Aspen it's that nice! Great restaurant, fresh salad bar, had the prime rib man was that good! Every detail down to the Au-jus sauce was perfect. Finished dinner off with a slice of apple cobbler "a la mode", superb. Oh yes forgot to mention beers on tap, very nice selection of local brews. Extensive wine list as well. Highly recommended! Thanks for the great service!
