Over a year ago I took my wife s 2013 Toyota 4- Runner to Brand X here in Mountain Home to see about a modern touch screen radio and backup camera.. The so called staff at Brand X were rude to both me and my wife.They never even offered to step outside in their parking lot, (shared with what is currently Little B s) to even look at the radio.That experience soured me on trying to get a decent radio for my wife s rig. Last month I found Jim. What a blessing! He is professional and a perfectionist who listens to his customers and then takes care of them. Do not settle for rude treatment when a first class experience awaits you just a 20 minute drive out of town. Trust Jim with all your car audio needs.You will be glad you did! Jim is also very reasonable with his pricing. Much less than his competitor.

Just had my brand new on the market Atoto S8 Pro Head Unit installed. I was looking for a professional installer. I am not from Memphis so I did my homework read tons of reviews, compared prices etc. I decided to go with Jim Car Audio because of his positive reviews, pictures of jobs he done and because I believe in supporting the local neighborhood. I am so happy with my decision. Mr. Jim is a true hands on installer and his decades of experience show. My head unit came with tons of features like rearview video display with Virtual Surround View parking feature to view your vehicle in birds eye view. Lots of the features needed calibration and not much documentation was to be found. It was a big job and I am sure other installers would have thrown in the towel. Not Mr. Jim he contacted customer service and did everything to get the job done. Also even though the job took a little longer he stayed at his price and the completed work with clean and very professional results. I had two units installed with best buy over the years and I was NOT to happy with their impersonal and quick job.I would like to highly recommend Jim's Car Audio to anyone who is looking for real and honest craftsmanship with no unpleasant surprises. Called several different places which ended up being booked a month+ in advanced and offered no help. I had bought a spare vehicle to commute to work which was a 2008 Crown Vic police interceptor which had no security features. With vehicle thefts and break-ins on a rise I needed something fast. After researching I found Jim and had a very professional experience. He worked with me to get an appointment coordinated during my vacation. After ordering the system I had it installed within a week's time. I was able to drop my vehicle off overnight and felt it was safe and had it back quick. He offered the Crime Stopper remote start/alarm vs a more expensive unit I wanted and saved me money. The unit is full of all the features I wanted. After using it for a few days it has become second nature as far as learning to unlock, lock, pop the trunk, and remote start the vehicle. He explained in detail how to operate it before I left. His work is very clean. If it wasn't for the bright blue blinking led in the dash you'd never known anything was done but the led is a deterrent which you want. He also installed a glass break sensor and shock sensor. If anyone attempts to touch my vehicle in an aggressive manner I am immediately alerted by the paging system with lcd screen which turns red, vibrates, and beeps. The alarm gives a warning to the intruder before all Hell breaks loose. We have tested this to much satisfaction. I only had to slightly adjust the sensitivity which he made accessible to the user. Once the alarm is set off the vehicle isn't able to be started until it is disarmed. There is also a second standard battery powered remote which is very nice. The pager which I use the most is rechargeable and looks to last for a decent amount of time. I haven't drained it yet to get an exact time. Overall I had a very pleasant experience with Mr. Jim. He has been in the business for over 35 years and it shows. His knowledge is very extensive and he takes pride in his work. After talking with him we are very much alike in the way we do things. He is someone I highly recommend and feel comfortable with doing work on my vehicles. I will bring him 2 other vehicles to work out issues on in the future. Also his labor rate was very reasonable being an individual.

We're so thankful for Jim's experience, knowledge and patience. He installed a new audio system in our Prius which can't have been easy w all the complicated wiring systems, but he's an expert. If I could give Jim 10 stars I would! Jim worked on my 2018 Silverado single cab which has very little room as he still did a outstanding job! All of his work was very clean, he explained all of his work to me before and after he finished the job, which I appreciated a lot! I will definitely be going to him again and will be recommending him to everyone I know! He was very quick with the job I asked for, reliable, and helpful, unlike other businesses I used prior to knowing him.

I wouldn t recommend any were but Jim s Audio he is a expert at his job. Thanks to him my car is BOOMING with a reasonable price and it only took one day to finish my car. Jim wired my subs, put in a backup camera, and new head unit. And it all works better than I could ever imagine.Thank you Jim.

Jim was very nice to us and always updated us and explained everything he was doing in detail the entire time he had our vehicle, even before he had the vehicle too! Not only that but he didn t pretend that it was going to be cheaper than what it actually was like other places. He always kept 100% truthful and respectful throughout the entire experience. I also loved how he not only took care of us by answering all the questions we had but he also handled our truck like he would handle his own vehicle! Would definitely recommend him for anything I need done Audio wise!!

My recent experience with Jim was absolutely wonderful! He is very kind & considerate, professional, knowledgeable, and very resourceful when my problem went beyond his depth of expertise/knowledge. He spent a great amount of time researching the issue and then explaining his findings to me so that I could actually understand it and make an educated decision--& then didn't charge me Anything for all his time! Wow!!! I really appreciate the honesty and the fact that he didn't make promises he couldn't keep!! I WILL gladly be recommending Jim to others & look forward to doing business with him again in the future!

Jim installed all new speakers and an amp in my Nissan Altima. Sounds amazing. Jim did a nice professional clean install so it looks factory but sounds custom. Good communication, kept me informed and sent pictures thru the install. Would use again.

Came to get my 92 town car done with audio, and this was the perfect place to get it done. Way lower price than public services like acumen, and gets it done within a day. Great service, and would recommend going there to get any audio done. Great stuff Jim!!!

Jim did a terrific job installing my stereo in my Honda Civic. The new stereo sounds much better than my old one and the installation looks clean. He is very personable, detail-oriented and his service is reasonably priced. He also willingly goes the extra mile to ensure everything is installed correctly and to the customer s satisfaction. Highly recommended!

Jim did a great job on our son's car. A 2007 Honda Civic was dramatically upgraded after Jim installed new front and back speakers and a blue tooth device. My son has a much improved sound system in the car and can be hands free when he has to call us. Jim was easy to work with, communicated with us throughout the entire process and his prices were reasonable. Honest business with care and attention to every project.

Amp and Sub install was quoted @250$ maximum. Seems very knowledgeable however very snappy for our interaction. I get the vibe he would do a good job and seems honest but due to the high price, 10-15 day projected install and the short fuse replies I cannot recommend Jim.Just for full disclosure he DID offer good locations to purchase the equipment and seemed to be a really great guy when I first called but then when I asked him if he would be willing to help specifically where I was uneasy he replied like I was trying to rob him.Jim I had every intention of paying you for every hour you spent on my vehicle which is how you quoted me. I am sorry you were so offended that I wanted to complete my install quickly by lowering the amount of work you needed to complete.

Jim installed a new stereo for my son before he left for college. He did a fantastic job and my son is very pleased! Jim worked with our schedule and was very accommodating to our needs! I recommend Jim for all your car audio needs!

I have put in a number of car stereos over the years and have had a number professionally installed as well. The job that Jim did installing a Kenwood receiver and backup camera on our Subaru Forester was the best install I have seen. This wasn t an easy install. Jim carefully took things apart, installed the equipment snd, most importantly, put everything back together just as tight or tighter as when the vehicle came from the factory. The install looks awesome. In fact, it honestly looks far better than than the OEM. Jim s pays meticulous attention to every detail and it sure shows in his work. His prices are more than reasonable for the amount of work that he did. We will use Jim for our next car stereo install without any reservations at all.

I highly recommend Jim s Car Audio/Alarm & Marine for Jim s honesty, fairness, knowledge and professionalism in replacing the CD player in my car. I called Jim s Car Audio after not receiving a call back from a local (Mtn. Home AR) car audio dealer. Jim explained in detail the CD player problem based on the model and age of my vehicle. He then asked me questions about what I wanted in a CD player and about my car s audio system so he could order the necessary parts to complete the installation, thereby saving me an additional trip. In less than a week, my new CD player was installed, looking like it was factory installed and sounding so much better than my previous player. Before I left, he spent 15 minutes showing me how my new player operated. Jim did exactly what he said he was going to do, on time and at a reasonable cost! Jim s Car Audio/Alarm and Marine is hands-down the best in the Mtn. Home and surrounding area.

Awesome work on my Honda Accord! After I got my tires stolen (outside of my apartment overnight while I slept) I researched a few different options to get an alarm system installed. Jim went above and beyond to ensure I had my car back as I was on a tight schedule. Highly professional and a guy that definitely takes pride in his work.Thanks Jim!

This brother right here everybody should go to. He is about his business and quick on the job. He also thinks about the customer and will help you in other aspects of your car if he finds something wrong with it. You won't be disappointed with him. Hes a true professional.
