Stayed in cabin #5 with my two kids. Everything was clean and they had everything that we needed to cook dinner that night. We took a 1/2 day guided fishing trip with Curt. It was a great experience for my kids and we caught a bunch of fish. I highly recommend this place. People are laid back and make sure you have everything you possibly need.

Beautiful place. Friendly people. We stayed in the camper cabins, and they were awesome. The ONLY con was that the bed was a little hard for my taste. They charge for linens, or you have to bring your own. Definitely bring a mattress topper with you. Everything else was perfect. Great view of the river. The bath house was clean and comfortable. I would love to build me something like that someday. As for the price of the camper cabins, I think that they might be a little steep on the price , especially because you have to go to the bathroom in another place and the linen charge.. seems like they could provide linens if the entire stay is going to be $85 a night. Over all, I'd give them a 9 out of 10.Nearby activities: They have guides fishing tours.

A few of us planned a fishing trip on the White River. We found the Rainbow Drive Resort for full day fishing guides and boat rentals. Tracey at the office was an absolute pleasure and made sure we had everything we needed and a delicious lunch. Our guides Chris & Jeremy were also amazing! We caught tons of trout right away and they were extremely patient and helpful with those of us that had never fished before. On our second day we just rented boats to go out on our own. Their staff on the docks were so helpful and even put line on some of our fishing poles for us to save us some time! Would highly recommend and would definitely fish with them again!

Rented a boat from them. Nice people, newer boat and electric start engine. Will rent there again. Didn't see the room but sounded very nice. Will rent and /or stay there again.

We are from Colorado, and we were for 14 days June 10th - 23rd of 2022. Everyone was so wonderful to us! You can request fresh hot cinnamon rolls delivered to you at your campsite. They were so good the best we have ever had. We stayed in the #2 RV spot and let me tell you how beautiful it was. The White river was the most amazing river I have ever seen. The water was 55 degrees and the fog in the morning and night was the coolest thing I have ever experienced. So cool and refreshing! The fire flies, red headed woodpeckers and Cardinals were amazing!! I had never seen them before. Drinking coffee every morning was so relaxing. The campsites were clean and beautiful hanging plants at each site. The office had everything you needed. We will be back next year!

Probably the first review I've ever felt compelled to write! Our family just got home from a week at Rainbow Drive Resort and absolutely LOVED it! The hospitality is second to none. We were treated like family the entire time we were there. Our kids did not want to leave. Great fishing guide (helped get us plenty of fish). Beautiful campsite and VERY clean facilities, that looked like they were cleaned daily. The staff was always smiling, willing to give a ride on their golf carts, give fishing advice, and help with whatever our needs were. This staff was completely service minded! I wish more places were ran like this place. We will definitely be back! Thanks for such a great vacation!

We absolutely love Rainbow Drive Resort! The staff is very accommodating and very responsive to anything we have ever needed! The cabins are always nice and clean. The guys down at the docks are always helpful with anything whether cleaning our fish or what the trout were biting on that week.. Always look forward to going back anytime we can!

Everyone here has been so friendly and very, very helpful. We will probably end up staying an extra 2 days because we have had so much fun.Noteworthy details: If you want to trout fish, this is the place. We hired a guide for a day (Jeremy), and he taught us about how to use the spin cast reel. He also knew a lot about the different kinds of trout and the river. He made us both feel very comfortable. My casts weren't always the best, but sometimes I still caught fish. Our proudest moments were catching a 20 1/2" and a 19 1/2" brown trout. I know they were the biggest fish my husband and I have ever caught. We returned them to the river as they weren't big enough to keep, but they were sure fun to catch. It was a beautiful day on the river, and we want to thank everyone at Rainbow for making it such a wonderful memory.

Very nice people and a great place to stay while fishing on the White River for monster brown trout, Rainbow Trout and Cut Throat Trout. The big group cabin holds lots of people comfortably and was a great home base for our team. Kayak fishing was difficult, but we got to do some as well as fishing with a guide and renting boats also. Would definitely recommend staying here and we plan on making this an annual trip because it was such a great experience.

This resort was great! The kids had a blast. Everyone on the staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are well kept and there is plenty of room to fish. We were catching fish after a couple of casts. The cottages are a little small, but the beds were really comfy and they are really clean and well appointed. The screened porch is a great place to eat your meals. I loved the addition of fishing rod hooks on the wall. It helps keep all of your gear in order and out of the way. They have inexpensive canoe rentals so you can get out on the water. The have a great selection of tackle/bait in the main office. I saw a huge brown trout jump out of the water, twice, 15 feet in front of me. It was a beautiful sight and one I will never forget. It wasn't nearly the size of the 39 pounder that you can see a replica of in the office, but it was the biggest I have ever seen and probably in the 15-20 lb range. I can't wait to go back!

My group of 8 adults stumbled on to this place after our initial plans to float the Buffalo River didn't happen due to flooding. We arrived late with no idea what to expect and had a wonderful time! The staff were the most accommodating and welcoming hosts. They had patience with us and our many questions and made sure we had a good time. Never have I experienced such gracious staff! The property is small but very picturesque on the white river with world class trout fishing. The camp cabin we rented slept 6 with 1 queen and 2 sets of bunk beds. It had nice amenities like a small fridge, coffee pot and a nice porch, fire ring and grill. They have ice, tackle, firewood, fishing dock and everything you need right there. They have small tent sites, RV sites, cottages.

Absolutely loved this place!! We were supposed to go down the Buffalo River and had to cancel and come up with a plan B. They were super helpful, extraordinarily courteous and the amenities were fantastic. The cabins were quaint, but could sleep 6. I can't wait to go back and float the White River again.

I cannot even begin to describe how nice and friendly all the staff are! There was a miscommunication with our reservations which I was initially concerned about with a holiday weekend coming up. They quickly said that it would not be a problem and even threw in a couple of small things and were very apologetic even though it wasn't necessary as these things happen. All the staff were quick to tell us if we needed anything at all even something as simple as help setting up our campfire they would be more than happy to help. The man who worked the docks even came over and gave us tips on what to use and where to fish along the bank to catch more fish. I really can't say how great the customer service was. The resort itself was clean and kept up and very beautiful and quiet. Unfortunately the only way to really catch fish at the time was in a boat because the water was really high from all the water they were releasing out of Bull Shoals but you can't control mother nature. Overall it was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back.

We arrived on Friday the 29th of April with a check out date of May 1st. My wife and I decided to get away for the weekend. This was my first time going to this resort. My wife had been there before for a wedding and thought we should go there together. First we were welcomed by great staff who were more than willing to do anything for us. They even asked if we wanted them to build us a campfire that night outside our cottage. We took a boat out the next day at 8am. My wife was catching fish left and right. Even with poor water conditions due to the high levels of moss that week. Normally i was told by fisherman that there is no moss. Even with the moss we still caught and released our fair share of trout. We kept some for eating later. We were sad to leave on Sunday. The room was more than what we had expected. I loved the screens in porch. I think we lived on the porch more than anything. Thank you Heather and Kenny (owners) for making our stay perfect. We will be back year after year and are already planning our next trip.

Very peaceful location for trout fishing on the White River. We hired one of their guides and had a fantastic experience! They couldn't have been nicer to our kids and really taught us a lot. Wonderful experience that we highly recommend!
