Robert is truly one of the finest and most honest mechanics I have ever met. I have trusted him to work in my Toyota a multitude of times and have never been disappointed. He offers exceptional workmanship, honest assessments of what needs to be done, and fair estimates. I have also referred countless family and friends to Robert without hesitation. If you are seeking a mechanic who knows what he's doing, who will treat you fairly, who will get the job done, and who will charge fairly, this is the place you want to utilize. Five stars - highly recommend!

Robert has definitely gone above and beyond to help with all our car problems. He definitely knows what he is doing if you just let him do what he does. We won't take our vehicles anywhere else. Very fair priced and very knowledgeable.

I had an avalanche that suddenly started missing and wouldn t run. After letting it sit for a short time it might run for a while and it might not. After throwing parts at it to no avail, I took it to 3 different mechanics who threw parts at it as well. After spending over 1000 dollars in parts someone recommended Robert who owns Reeds on the go. 4 hours after dropping it off I got a phone call saying it was fixed. It s been running right for years now. There was a wire touching the motor causing it to ground out. Ever since then when I can t fix something myself, I just drop it off at Reeds on the go. I haven t been disappointed yet. Plus he s probably one of the most reasonably priced mechanics around. He definitely has my business.

Where do I even begin. I brought my car to Robert because my normal mechanic was on vacation. I was referred to Robert by his dad who owns Reeds in town. I figured I could trust a referral from a local business owner. I brought my car to Robert because it had a leak and I suspected that there may be a problem with possibly the alternator. BIGGEST MISTSKE IVE EVER MADE.My husband dropped our vehicle off and Robert had it "fixed" in a few hours. He said it was the water pump, belt and added coolant. I promptly paid him and my husband picked up the car the same evening. As my husband drove the vehicle home he noticed a sweet smell coming from the vents but ignored it. It was only a 5 minute drive. Fast forward to the next morning. We drive our vehicle into town and the smell was even worse. Anti freeze was clearly coming out through the vents. We actually got stuck on the highway and when my husband looked under the hood our coolant was bone dry. Mind you, I was charged for three gallons. Yes, gallons! My husband called Robert and he came out to look at it. He started swearing up and down that he was a good mechanic and took it back to his "shop". The place looks like a dump and that should have been the first red flag. We get a call a half hr later and he proceeds to tell us there is now a problem with our heater and it was going to be an 800 dollar fix. He had no excuse for the coolant being completely gone. At this point we are feeling totally ripped off. I've never had an issue with my heater. We brought our car to this person with a simple issue and took it home in horrible condition. At this point my husband says we absolutely do not want him working on the car and that we will be picking it up. That is when Robert decided to demand 100 dollars from us to get our vehicle. I had just paid him 500 dollars for the repairs, which were obviously not done. He even threatened a mechanic lein if we didn't pay up Without going into more details, I ended up picking up my car at his junk yard. I brought our car home and my husband filled it up with coolant. Within a few hours it had all leaked out and we realized the hose wasn't even clamped.I conclusion, my vehicle is now being properly fixed and it's going to cost me an arm and a leg I'm sure. I will have to verify that everything that was "fixed" by Robert has been done.Stay away from Roberts place aka Reed on the go at all costs!

I've used this mechanic multiple times. Always reasonably priced, professional, efficient, and helpful. He even loaned me a vehicle while he was fixing mine. Need a mechanic? Go here! You won't be disappointed!!

Dishonest, untrustworthy, and quoted us higher than larger shops. There are so many other more well established businesses in the cave city and batesville area. Don't risk your car on someone without doing your research first.

Robert put a transmission in my car for less than anyone else around. It took a while, but that's to be expected from a small owner-operator mechanic and people need to keep that in mind. He also went above and beyond by mounting a tire that it needed without me asking to for no extra cost. Overall 5/5 for sure.
