Mr. Purdy has always been polite, fair, and reliable. His wife is kind as well! Purdy's put new rotors and pads on my ZL1 all the way around. They are as professional as they are friendly! I have found my new garage.

We took my deceased sons 95 Dodge pickup (68,000 original miles) to have some gaskets fixed and a new battery and the exhaust put back on. We were called in February to tell us that the head gaskets were bad and that in those old Dodges they are like paper and always crumble so we would need a new motor and that you will hate me for the price so they asked us to pick it up. They had the truck for 3 months and didn t even put a battery on it or the exhaust. We took it to another mechanic and there was NOTHING wrong with the head gaskets or the motor and $400 later the truck runs like new! I m not sure if they even looked at the truck. Ive always heard great things about this place but we didn t have a good first and ONLY experience.

Very honest and polite. I needed a total engine replacement and they took the time to see if my vehicle had any recalls. Sure enough there was a recall on the engine and I was able to have the job done free by the dealership. Purdy could have not said anything and just made their money! Very nice and honest people!

Dirty, unfriendly, incompetent and completely unprofessional...I wouldn't have anything worked on at their repair shop! If I could give negative stars I would. My advice, keep away and find someplace else to service your car or truck needs! If my review keeps someone else from being taken advantage of so be it. I rarely leave negative reviews of any business but it's more than necessary in this case. Stay away from this repair shop!

I ve used Purdy s for 12 years and I ONLY trust Brian with my car. He and his wife will call you prior to fixing your car to let you know the problem and cost prior to just working on your car. They re more than mechanics, they are FAMILY

Fast, fairly-priced, reliable mechanic - great work and better service! They will break down repair options by price, and best of all: they listen. Most places listen only to prepare what to say to you in return; not here - they actively listen because they want to fully understand what you're trying to communicate about your auto's problem(s), and work with you to fix it right the FIRST time! 5 Stars, highly recommend!

We got there in the afternoon for a smart lock calibration, and they were able to have us in and out within 20 minutes. The tech was very nice and made the experience very smooth and pleasant. I will definitely go back!

I highly reccomend this shop If you need good mechanic work. They fix any problems I had with my truck, and if they found any other issues they would call and tell me before they fixed it to let me know that they saw an issue needing to be addressed. I've been going here for years and they give you honest prices for amazing work. I just had my clutch and starter replaced and he had it done very quickly. A lot of people go here and for good reason. Any bad reviews you may ever see is probably upset about having to pay for the repair instead of getting it free. Mr purdy or Mrs amber will tell you of any issue they find before fixing it

After I paid over $700 on work I'm still not convinced I needed, they let me know they didn't align my vehicle, yet charged me for it. They said they would align it for "free" when I went in for another $300 worth of work "I needed." Why charge me for something they didn't do in the first place? Just seemed very shady. Do not recommend.

I was referred to Purdy's by a generator dealer to have the exhaust pipe on my generator's RV replaced. Bryan was kind enough to work us into his schedule as we were passing through Benton. He and his team did an excellent job and the work was very fairly priced. Bryan is a smart and resourceful guy with a ton of experience working on everything from autos to jet aircraft, and I bet there's not much he can't fix. I would highly recommend his shop to anyone in the area.

My a/c had quit, so I bought a can of refrigerant and heard hissing. I knew I had a leak. Looked online and found Purdy Good Auto. Took the car by and they immediately found the problem. Stopped by today and they took me back home. After finishing, they called and came back to pick me up. Car is fixed and I have found a new garage. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I will return and recommend.

Got my car worked on there. They did awesome job. They even drove me back home so I wouldn't have to wait at there office. Prices were good and service was excellent. Will differently be back. My car runs and drives great. Thanks again.

NO mechanic should be able to do what this mechanic did! After having my car for 5 days, I get to pick up my vehicle to find out its $100 more than quoted. After looking at the receipt (my husband went in to pay) , notice he charged me twice for the parts. Now, he did tell my husband 3 days before HE was having trouble with the car...so obviously he broke the first part and ordered another and passed the charges down to me! Also, he charged me separate for the parts, when the piece comes together!!! FOR A QUARTER OF WHAT HE CHARGED! Now I know there is a shop upcharge, but come on Purdys....DO BETTER, no on has $700 to throw away . So upset ! People please be careful using this garage.Service: Steering & suspension repair

This morning I am sitting at home in Hyden, KY. I am here because Bryan and Amber fixed our minivan and got us back on the road. We broke down in Benton the other day, and after calling a bunch of local mechanic's in the area I decided to go with the only people that were nice to me on the phone. It was a great decision. They fixed a very complex problem with my van as fast as they could. They were kind, sympathetic, and honest throughout the whole process. I wished I lived near them. I would use them for all my mechanical needs. Thank you so much for helping us get home.

Purdy's just got finished fixing my Jeep TJ after an exhaust leak snowballed into something much bigger than either of us expected. I was kept informed of what was going on and I know that my jeep was fixed right. I'm very pleased with their work, professionalism, and fair prices. I wholeheartedly recommend Purdy's!

Everything they have done for me has been right the first time, at the price they said it would be, and completed on time. They take the time to explain what needs to be done, work hard at getting parts at the best price and are very nice people to deal with. You cannot go wrong bringing your vehicle here!

This is the most friendly, honest and fair repair shop I have ever been too. They go out of their way to do what you need them too. They are honest on parts, labor and time your vehicle will be down. I will be a forever clinet.

Had a fairly serious auto failure while on vacation. Thought I'd be visiting Benton for a while. Purdy was able to acquire the needed parts (40 year old 'vette, so that is amazing in itself) and had us back on the road the next afternoon. Fixed two lesser issues at the same time. Very impresive.

This is the only place to go for any auto repair needs that you may have. They always listen to the problems that you are having to ensure the problem is fixed properly the first time. They explain all problems well so you know what is going on. They go above and beyond to to provide the best service possible and never do anything to just make a quick buck. So if you are having any problems go check out Purdy's!!!

Why is it so difficult to find a shop that will do a job the right way, the first time, for a reasonable price? The part markup is more than furniture is. If you're clueless about what is fair in an auto shop, you will get taken advantage of.

I frequently have my car serviced here and it's a pleasant visit everytime I go in they're nice, know what they're doing, and don't bust you over the head with prices. Best place to have your car serviced in Benton RT.

Took my wife's car to have the thermostat changed the mechanic didnt use the one we bought, "ordered" another one and then called to tell us there was a radiator leak.. Thing is the radiator was almost new.. This place has shady mechanics who do things to vehicles so that they can line their pockets.. Good thing I have a real mechanic in my family who found this place does shady work... Dont use this place as your go to to have vehicle work done because they arent out to help you, they are out to get as much money as they can out of you.

Hey you having trouble with your car,truck or heck anything that has a motor. Well then come on down to purdy good and see just how word gets around that they are indeed purdy darn good at just about any automobile problem. And there prices are purdy darn reasonable too. So get on down here.
